The now six-foot-five right-hander has already experienced the Junior Future Games (2023) and Super Sophomore Games (2024), and if all goes well this spring, he should be in consideration for this yearโ€™s Future Games team. Ranked 3rd in the state and 192nd nationally, Hicks has a frame that oozes projection with a quick, compact arm stroke into a three-quarter slot. He hides the ball well and has the arm speed that allows his fastball to get on hitters quickly. Some of his heaters run arm-side more than others, and the ones that do give right-handed hitters issues. The fastball has been up to 88.8 MPH on Trackman, and we saw that velocity upheld in-game during the fall tournament circuit. Hicksโ€™ low-80s slider is a swing-and-miss weapon with late movement, and the two pitches are a strong foundation. This past summer Hicks paced all freshman arms with 95 strikeouts (24th among all pitchers) in 65.1 innings pitched. The 95 strikeouts from a freshman pitcher was the most since Blaine Harpenauโ€™s 101 total in the 2017-2018 season. Overall, Hicks made 11 starts for the Eagles and went 6-2 with a 1.39 ERA and a .177 batting average allowed. Big things are ahead for this young arm. More on Brady โคต๏ธ

We have a ๐—ก๐—ข-๐—›๐—œ๐—ง๐—ง๐—˜๐—ฅ in District Final actionโ€ผ๏ธ 2028 LHP Bryce Besgrove was dominant for #5 (D2) Clay Baseball (21-7), leading the Eagles to a 1-0 win over #16 St. Francis de Sales Athletics (16-13-1). Besgrove worked quickly and efficiently all night, pounding the zone and trusting his defense behind him. The #17 ranked prospect in Ohioโ€™s 2028 class threw 76 of 108 pitches for strikes, striking out five while walking three in the no-hit performance. 2027 1B Aiden Berryman delivered the gameโ€™s biggest swing with a two-out RBI single to CF in the 2nd inning, bringing home 2028 C Brannan Vargas, who reached earlier in the inning on a 7-pitch walk. 2027 RHP Tommy kept St. Francis within striking distance all game long. The junior righty went the distance, allowing just one unearned run on six hits and three walks while striking out five. The duo of Besgrove and 2028 RHP Landon Echelberry is making a strong case as one of the top 1-2 punches in the state. In Clayโ€™s two district wins, the pair combined for 14 innings, allowing just one hit and zero runs with 13 strikeouts. Clay moves on to face #12 (D2) Big Walnut Baseball in regional action on Wednesday (6/3) at Grove City HS. One of my favorite college arms in the 2025 class is LHP Cade Fisher (Florida Gators Baseball). Had a fantastic true Freshman season in 2023, pitching his way to a 6-0 record with a 3.10 ERA and 48 Ks to 13 BB across 49.1 IP. Lean build at 6'4" and 210-lbs with some physicality in the lower-half. Long arm stroke, attacks from a deceptive low-three quarter slot. Low release height - averaged around 5' on his FB. Easy, under control operation that Fisher repeats well. Maintains good direction towards the plate. Fisher's FB sits in the 91-93 range, but has been up to 95. Plenty of natural run to the arm side, and last year averaged nearly 19" of run. Fisher has plus control of the pitch, and it's most effective when located on the outer-half (to RHH, inner-half to LHH) of the plate. Best secondary pitch is his high-70s/low-80s SL. Long, sweeping action with some teeth at times. Fisher has advanced feel for the pitch and manipulates its shape well. Shorter action with a bit more depth against RHH. Can land it for strikes, generated a 39% miss rate in '23 while holding opposing hitters to a .229 average. 56% miss rate this fall. Lastly, Fisher throws a mid-80s CH. It's a bit of a work in progress right now, but I'm excited about what the pitch could look like. Last year flashed ample late fade at times. Big game pitcher who wants the ball on the biggest stage. Fired 7 innings of 1-run ball against Texas Tech with UF's backs against the wall in Regionals, and then allowed just 1 ER across 4.2 IP in the CWS Finals. Outstanding mound presence. Fisher has pro-level starter written all over him and could be a first round pick in 2025.

BREAKING: PRINCIPAL OF ENOCH BURKEโ€™S SCHOOL โ€˜MOVES ONโ€™ - GIVEN NEW JOB AT TOP STATE EDUCATION BODY On Tuesday this week an email was sent to parents at Wilsonโ€™s Hospital School notifying that Principal Frank Milling will be moving on from the school, and taking up a post with the NCCA (the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment), a state body that advises the Minister for Education. Three years ago, in May 2022, Enoch Burke was commanded by the then Principal Niamh McShane to use the "they" pronoun for a 3rd year student. Very shortly after making that demand, Principal McShane (who had commenced a Stage 4 disciplinary process against Enoch Burke) left the school to become a Principal in Bandon, County Cork. She was replaced as Principal by Mr Frank Milling. Mr Milling treated Enoch Burke very badly. For turning up to work, he was shouted at, mocked, and humiliated. All the while Mr Milling was persistent in his promotion of LGBT in the school. In 2023, when Enoch Burke lay in a prison cell, unjustly, Frank Milling was posing at the school with the transgender pride flag and posting it up on the school's social media. Frank Milling has now been given a job with the NCCA - the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment - the official state body that advises the Minister for Education (Helen McEntee) on what young people should be learning in school. Mr Millingโ€™s appointment follows on from an alarming video sent to the school by the Fine Gael leader last year, at which point Enoch Burke had been languishing in prison for over 400 days, where Simon Harris specifically thanked Mr Milling in his role as School Principal. That this man will now decide what young people should be learning in school is something every parent should be concerned about.

I had dinner last night with 8 founders. Combined net worth at the table was probably over $2 billion. Two Russians. Two Indians. One Pakistani. One Egyptian. One French guy who left Paris last year. One American who left San Francisco the year before. Nobody at that table lives in their home country anymore. All of them live within 15 minutes of where we ate. Thatโ€™s what people get wrong about Dubai. Itโ€™s not a vacation spot or a tax haven. Itโ€™s just where everyone the West called the future actually ended up moving. The French guy ran a fintech in Paris until his second cousin got kidnapped over a $4M position. He moved his family in 6 weeks. The American sold his company in 2023 and watched 38% of his exit disappear to combined federal and state taxes. He moved within 90 days. The Russians have been here since 2022 and never went back. Their kids barely remember Moscow. The Pakistani guy was running a $400M business out of Karachi when his accountant got arrested for โ€œinvestigation.โ€ He left with his family that month. Every guy at that table represents a country that lost them because the country itself made staying impossible. The West keeps writing think pieces about Dubai being fake or soulless or morally bankrupt. Meanwhile every founder who has real options is showing up here with his family and his capital. The countries that used to lecture the world about how to succeed are now watching their best people leave one by one. They can keep arguing about why this isnโ€™t happening. The dinner reservations in Dubai keep getting harder to book either way. A few years here of life in Dubai and it gets more obvious why Iโ€™m here. ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ช

RHP Coleman Crow Acquired: 28th round selection by the Angels in 2019 draft, eventually traded to the Brewers from the Mets in exchange for Adrian Hauser & Tyrone Taylor Measurables: 6โ€™0โ€, 175 lbs, 23 years old Cliff Notes: Crow has been dealt twice now in trades for proven MLB talent. Never pitching in the Metsโ€™ system due to a Tommy John surgery, he saw some success in the Angelโ€™s system. Pitching at AA in 2022 and starting there again in 2023, Crow posted a 4.38 ERA across 152 innings (28 games). His 24.8% strikeout rate and 6.4% walk rate in AA reflect his strengths well. He pounds the strike zone and controls his pitches. Crow has a low-90โ€™s 4-seamer that he releases from his low slot. From that same slot, he throws his best offering - a horizontal sweeping, vertical dropping, high-spin curveball that sits below 80-mph. Additionally, Crow throws a mid-80โ€™s slider with horizontal sweep and rarely throws his fading change-up. Crowโ€™s ability to sneaky release and ability to control sets him up to one day be able to fill out a rotation or be a long reliever. Crow was a 28th rounder in the 2019 draft, but was paid an approximately 5th round slot bonus that the Angels dumped on him. With the 2020 season lost to COVID, Crow debuted in 2020 getting his feet wet at Single A and the Arizona Fall League. He followed that up with a strong 2022 performance in AA Rocket City and continued there to start 2023, prior to an elbow injury. In AA, he had a low 4โ€™s ERA, as noted above. Averaging over a strikeout per inning, he averaged just over two walks per game. Opponents hit Crow with about a .240 opponent batting average, leading to a 1.204 WHIP. Nearly 50% of contact induced was a ground ball with under 20% being line drives. So far in his career, Crow has done a good job eluding hard contact. Crow throws a fastball that sits low-90โ€™s with a flat approach that fools hitters in the top of the zone. His curve sits below 80-mph and posted elite spin and movement in AA (notably with a tacked ball). The curve has vertical dive, but more importantly elite horizontal sweep across the plate. He throws a faster, mid-80โ€™s slider that also has nearly a foot of sweep. His fourth, and sparsely used, offering is a change-up that tails arm side. Crow throws a strike nearly three quarters of his offerings with solid command, which allows him to miss barrels. Shut down from an inflamed elbow since April โ€˜23, he underwent Tommy John surgery in summer of 2023. His return from Tommy John will be worth a watch. Hopefully he maintains his command and progress made to this point in his career so that he can resume his career path. Crow was on a path to the Big Leagues as a possible back-end starter or long reliever, so stay tuned for his return to the mound. Profile by Cole Roepke

1B Tanner Thach (UNCW Baseball) is another college bat to keep close tabs on this season. Thach was drafted by the Giants in the 18th round of the 2022 draft but decided to honor his commitment to the Seahawks. Thach made a significant impact in his first year on campus and posted a .290/.356/.544 slash line with 11 2B, 15 HRโ€”a UNCW single-season freshman recordโ€”and 68 RBIs. He outdid himself in 2024 and hit .324/.406/.700 with 11 2B, a UNCW single-season record 27 HR and 75 RBIs in 61 games. Thachโ€™s production didnโ€™t end there, though, as he was named a Cape League all-star, hitting .275/.367/.493 with 6 doubles, 8 HR and 25 RBIs. Thach has a strong, physical build at 6โ€™4โ€ and 220-lbs. He has a crouched stance in the box with an open front side and a medium-high handset. Itโ€™s a bit of a noisy load in which he drops and drifts his hands, but Thach does possess plenty of bat speed. He has a steep, uphill swing path, and itโ€™s a violent operation that is geared towards getting the ball up in the air and doing damage. However, it can get long at times. Thachโ€™s carrying tool is undoubtedly his immense power. He has established a now-lengthy track record of power production with both metal and wood, and he has zero issue tapping into it on a game-to-game basis. Thach has home run power to all fields, though his highest quality of contact comes to the pull side. He gets the ball up in the air on a consistent basis, and when he catches the baseball on the sweet spot, it flies. Thach posted maximum exit velocities during the spring and summer of 113.5 mph and 103.1 mph, respectively. At the start of the summer, he would sometimes unnecessarily sell out to get to his power which caused him to top-spin line drives to the pull side, but as the season progressed he was able to break that habit. Thach has plus in-game power to all fields. The biggest key going forward for Thach is for him to continue to make enough contact to get to his power on a regular basis. His bat-to-ball skills are fringy, though he did post a 90% in-zone contact rate against all fastballs. Like a lot of hitters, the root of Thachโ€™s contact struggles are secondary offerings. Heโ€™ll have difficulty at times picking up spin out of the hand which leads to both miss and chase. Thach will also tend to whiff and chase against heaters that are either elevated or on the outer-half of the plate. However, he does handle velocity well and last season he hit .533/.588/1.033 against all fastballs 92+. While Thach feasts on righthanded pitching, he hit just .246/.321/.551 last season against lefties. Thachโ€™s power is tremendous, but heโ€™ll need to add a coat or two of polish to his hit-ability as he transitions into professional baseball. First base isnโ€™t the flashiest defensive profile, but Thach moves well around the bag and is a strong athlete at the position. Heโ€™s not afraid to range into the four-hole and he is a reassuring anchor on the right side of the infield. Thach has an advanced baseball sense, a trait that shines on a game-to-game basis. While he wonโ€™t pitch professionally, expect Thach to log some innings this spring for UNCW. His fastball tops out in the low 90s and flashes some hop in the top of the zone, but heโ€™ll also mix in a mid-70s curveball and a low-80s changeup. The cherry on top with Thach is his makeup, both on and off the field. Itโ€™s impossible to stick a grade on it because itโ€™s a 90 on the 20-80 scale. Would have him as a 2nd-early 3rd round type this July. (๐ŸŽฅ: UNCW Baseball, Cotuit Kettleers)

Fellow Kenyans, If you have followed me for a while, you are aware of the work I do around corruption and the insane level of pilferage and wastage happening in our governments. Particularly at the county level. I have covered many, many counties. Check out my PL for analyses of Turkana, Siaya, Nakuru, Murang'a, Kajiado, Tana River, Kilifi, Mombasa, Migori, Mandera, Wajir, Kakamega, etc. I have also covered Kiambu County Kenya. - my home county. I have told you in no uncertain terms that Kiambu County governor Governor Kimani Wamatangi, EGH ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช is one of the most corrupt governors in Kenya. And I tell you this, as a direct victim of the County Government's insane level of corruption. In late 2023, I applied for a permit to construct a block of apartments in the county. I submitted every single document required. In a period of around 3 weeks, Kiambu County Kenya. provided an invoice for the said services - that differed by over KSH 100,000 even though the underlying fact pattern was exactly the same. The county government agent was also the same. The only thing different was the day. When I escalated the issue and sought an explanation, I was told to pay the smaller invoice and not make a big fuss about. What this tells you is that, the county government is a den of debauchery where services are sold to the highest bidder. Immediately after, Kiambu County Kenya. - through Governor Kimani Wamatangi, EGH ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช and the CEC overseeing licensing and physical development - a charlatan by the name of Ms. Salome, confiscated and hid my documents for 7 months! I was then approached by Kiambu County Kenya. officials who offered to help, but only after I pay them a bribe. They shook me down for KSH 40,000 and my documents immediately re-appeared. Last year, we were all treated to drama of the century when Tatu City held a press conference to detail a shake down of Tatu City whereby Governor Kimani Wamatangi, EGH ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช and his sidekick (or sidechick) Ms. Salome were demanding KSH 4 billion in bribes in order for the County Government to do its damn job and approve Tatu City's development plan. Through this shakedown, Governor Kimani Wamatangi, EGH ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช and his sidechick have managed to deprive the citizens of Kiambu economic opportunities - jobs, contracts, etc. This, in a county where the 18-34 years of age bracket faces a 67% unemployment rate, and a generation of young Kenyans have lost all hope and are consumed by alcoholism due to lack of economic opportunities. So, waking up today to see news of Governor Kimani Wamatangi, EGH ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช 's arrest for his corruption did not surprise me one bit. None one bit. The surprise to me came when I saw the alleged total of his corruption - KSH 1.5 billion. Which is the understatement of the century. I therefore thought it makes sense to summarize my previous audit findings of Kiambu County Kenya. for anyone who has been hiding under a rock and missed that information. I also attach a couple of media files for you. Attachment 1 shows Governor Kimani Wamatangi, EGH ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช from earlier today at EACC offices. Attachment 2 shows Tatu City describe allegations against Kiambu County Kenya. and Governor Kimani Wamatangi, EGH ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช In Clip 3 - you will hear me talking to Kiambu County Kenya. officials who, about the insane level of corruption in the county, and they confirm all of it is true. The last picture shows a summary of the total financial malfeasance. Over KSH 10 billion. Here is a summary: Across two consecutive years, Kiambu County Kenya. has demonstrated entrenched patterns of financial mismanagement, gross inefficiencies, and outright theft. The Auditor-General issued an adverse audit opinion in 2022-2023 due to unreliable financial statements, missing documentation, unsupported expenditures, and fraudulent activities. Audit findings are summarized under the following categories: (1) Missing or Potentially Stolen Funds โ€“ Funds lost due to irregular payments, unexplained variances, and unauthorized transactions. (2) Wasted or Inefficiently Used Funds โ€“ Funds allocated but not effectively used, often tied to poor project implementation, overspending on salaries, or stalled developments. (3) Unaccounted or Unsupported Funds โ€“ Funds disbursed without audit-proof documentation, rendering verification impossible. 1. Missing or Potentially Stolen Funds Across both years, Kiambu County was unable to explain or document billions of shillings, raising red flags of potential embezzlement and systemic fraud. Key Issues & Figures (1) Unexplained Transfers to Government Units >>>Kshs.615.2 million (2022/2023): County claimed transfers to other agencies, but the entries lacked documentation or logical basis. (2) Voided IFMIS Transactions (2023/2024) >>>Kshs.921 million in canceled payments had no justification or authorization from Treasury, suggesting manipulation. (3) Payroll and Retirement Fraud (Both Years) >>>Kshs.102.7 million in unexplained/artificial salary arrears (2022/2023), including 20 employees paid over Kshs.500,000 each. >>>96 employees retained after retirement age (2023/2024). >>>Kshs.243.9 million lost to irregular promotions and acting appointments. (4) Fake Agricultural Inputs (2022/2023) >>>Kshs.27.85 million paid for fertilizer and chicks that were never delivered. (5) Bank Account Variances (Both Years) >>>Kshs.383 million in unreconciled bank balances (2022/2023). >>>Kshs.118 million (2023/2024) in unexplained differences between cashbooks and actual bank statements. (6) Outstanding Imprests (Cash advances) Kshs.25.8 million (2023/2024) in unreturned advancesโ€”some held since before 2022. Total Missing or Potentially Stolen Funds: Kshs.2.44 billion 2. Wasted or Inefficiently Used Funds Instead of using public funds for service delivery, Kiambu County wasted massive sums on inflated salaries, stalled projects, and poor budgeting. Key Issues & Figures (1) Excessive Spending on Salaries (Both Years) >>>In 2022/2023, 61% of total budget went to compensationโ€”far above the legal 35% limit. Governor Kimani Wamatangi, EGH ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช and Kiambu County Kenya. spent 61% of revenue on 1% of the county population, its politicians, friends, and staff. >>>In 2023/2024, the wage bill hit Kshs.6.29 billion, while services crumbled. (2) Minimal Development Allocation (2022/2023) >>>Only 11% of the Kshs.17 billion budget went to development. (3) Underfunding and Underspending (2023/2024) >>>County received Kshs.11.95 billion, short of its Kshs.15.99 billion budget. >>>Kshs.4.04 billion underfunded and Kshs.108 million underspent, affecting operations. (4) Stalled Projects Despite Payments (2022/2023) >>>Bibirioni Hospital: 70% complete after 5 years on a 2-year contract. >>>Tigoni Hospital: Delayed by 10 months. >>>Lari Sub-District Hospital: Only 56% complete despite 79% payment. >>>Ruiru Hospital and Gitaru Market: Contractor absenteeism and shoddy work. (5) Surveillance System (2023/2024) >>>Kshs.18 million paid upfront, no deliverables. (6) Avoidable Legal Costs (2023/2024) >>>Kshs.69.8 million lost due to delayed court order compliance. Total Wasted or Inefficiently Used Funds: Kshs.6.12 billion 3. Unaccounted or Unsupported Funds A chronic issue across both yearsโ€”Kiambu County could not provide supporting documents for billions in expenditure. Key Issues & Figures (1) Unsupported Asset Acquisition (2022/2023) >>>County claimed to acquire Kshs.764.8 million in assets, but register supports only Kshs.331 million, leaving a Kshs.433.9 million variance. (2) Unsupported Pending Bills (2022/2023) >>>Kshs.166.9 million in unexplained โ€œpending billsโ€. Kshs.748.9 million worth of unpaid bills from 2017/18 still on the books. (3) Undocumented Allowances and Travel (2022/2023) >>>Kshs.114.1 million in domestic travel and Kshs.12.7 million for KICOSCA Games paid without documentation. >>>Additional Kshs.3.26 million for โ€œrapid results initiativeโ€ lacked support. (4) Legal Services Without Procurement (Both Years) >>>Kshs.7.36 million (2022/2023) and Kshs.67.5 million (2023/2024) paid without contracts or engagement details. Total Unaccounted or Unsupported Funds: Kshs.2.69 billion Now, to the citizens of Kiambu. You deserve better. You deserve a Governor that understands that the sole purpose of a county government is to serve you. Not politicians, their friends, and criminal associates. You deserve smart leaders who will not spend 61% of the entire county budget on county politicians and staff, who are less than 1% of the county population. When a Governor oversees a county that spends 61% of the county revenue on 1% of the population, the damage that this does in incalculable. It means you won't get a functioning hospital. Or roads. Or social services. You deserve a governor that will not use the trust bestowed on him or herself to shake down investors, such as Tatu City who have chosen Kiambu over other counties. When investors like Tatu City are unable to invest - the loser is you, the citizen who needs a job, an opportunity to do honest business with the government, and you who needs infrastructure. What the announcement by the EACC does not tell you, is the amount of unnecessary pain and suffering, and injustice that is meted out by corrupt officials on citizens. There is a generation of Kenyans today who will not achieve their dreams - because Governor Kimani Wamatangi, EGH ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช prioritizes his greed and desire to be a billionaire over everyone else. Millions of young people lost to alcoholism and other vices - because they cannot find employment, or other economic opportunities. The time to end this pathetic marathon of thieves in government such as H.E. Waititu BabaYao Hon. William Kabogo Governor Kimani Wamatangi, EGH ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช is coming in 2027. That will be your opportunity to choose to stay in the mud or move forward. What will you do? Eric Latiff Mizani254 Abdi EACC Kiambu County Kenya. SS Dean Curley (Tennessee Baseball) is one of the top Sophomore-eligible prospects in this year's Draft. Earned the starting shortstop job as a Freshman and hit .285/.386/.502 with 10 2B, 12 HR, and 50 RBIs. After winning the National Title, Curley also enjoyed a productive stint with Team USA. Curley has a big league body at 6'3" and 212-lbs with length in his lower-half and strength and physicality throughout. Slightly crouched setup in the box with a medium-high handset. Small stride with a minimal load in which he deploys a slight barrel tip. Curley has big time hand speed and an engaged lower-1/2 - fan of the scissor action with his back leg. It's an under control operation/easy operation with minimal moving parts, and one in which he takes a short and direct path to contact. Head stays level. There's a really appealing compact explosiveness to it. Curley has a knack for finding the barrel to go along with plus bat-to-ball skills. Sported an overall IZ contact rate of 90% last season, including 93% against FB. Difficult to beat with the heater and handles velocity well. Hit .304/.515/.348 against 94+, including .500/.611/.571 against 95+ (albeit a smaller sample size). While there's some swing and miss against spin, Curley has a sound approach and his swing decisions are polished. Pitch recognition skills took a step forward with Team USA, curious to see if that carries over into the spring. Comfortable giving the hit tool a 50 right now, though it's closer to a 55. On top of his hitability, Curley has above-average raw power (plus to the pull side). His highest quality of contactโ€”and the vast majority of his HR powerโ€”is to the PS, but he has the strength to drive the baseball to all fields. Routinely impacts the baseball and is able to do so with relative ease. On top of his 90th-percentile EV of 107, Curley posted a Max EV of 110.8. Very enticing hit-power blend. Curley is a slam dunk to stick on the left side of the infield, it's just a matter of where. Started every day at SS last spring and is slated to do so again in 2025. He has an advanced baseball sense with a comfortably plus arm and some range to the arm side. There is a chance he eventually moves to 3B in pro ball where the arm and actions will both translate well. There's a lot to like with Curley from a tools standpoint on both sides of the baseball. He can impact the game in a myriad of ways and is on track to be a top-50 overall selection this July. (๐Ÿ“ฝ๏ธ: Tennessee Baseball)

โฌ› Austin Ekeler: From D2 to the League He ran for 5,857 yards at Western Colorado Football. Signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent. Led the NFL in touchdowns twice. Now with the Washington Commanders and still producing strong. Heโ€™s one of the best to ever come out of Division II. โฌ‡๏ธ Western State, now Western Colorado, was the only program that offered him a shot at running back. He stayed four full years and became one of the most productive players the RMAC has ever seen. He averaged 146 rushing yards and 1.6 touchdowns per game over 40 starts. He put together one of the strongest careers in D2 history...and he didnโ€™t have to leave to do it. At Western, Ekeler dominated. He averaged more than 100 rushing yards per game across four seasons, led the country in all-purpose yards in 2015, and earned academic honors alongside his on-field production. By the time he wrapped up his senior year, he was a Harlon Hill finalist with nearly 6,000 rushing yards to his name. His work was undeniable. But he still didnโ€™t get a Combine invite. The draft came and went. No calls. Then the Los Angeles Chargers brought him into camp on a rookie deal and gave him a shot. He took it from there. He made the roster as a rookie and started producing immediately. First as a change-of-pace option. Then as a third-down threat. Then as the guy. In 2021 and 2022, he led the NFL in total touchdowns. He stacked back-to-back seasons with more than 1,500 scrimmage yards and at least 15 total scores. He caught 107 passes in 2022, the most by any running back in Los Angeles Chargers history. The production hasnโ€™t slowed down. In 2024, he signed with the Washington Commanders. Heโ€™s still outworking people. Division II didnโ€™t slow him down. It prepared him. The hours. The discipline. The ability to carry the weight of a program while juggling everything else college throws at you. Thatโ€™s what this level teaches. Thatโ€™s why it sticks. There are players right now doing the same thing. Grinding through the spring, stacking film, putting together complete seasons. Some will make it. Not because someone finally believed in them, but because they never stopped believing in themselves. Has U-M Become Wuhan on the Huron? Only half of the students who attend our flagship university are state residents, and the foreign students have a habit of breaking federal law By Charlie LeDuff (Charlie LeDuff) When I went to college in Ann Arbor, a gram of magic mushrooms cost five bucks. These daysโ€”what with the Chinese Communist Party having infiltrated the research laboratory at the University of Michiganโ€”exotic fungi could cost all of us our lives. Three Chinese researchers were recently charged with attempting to smuggle toxic plant fungus into Detroit Metro Airport. If tweaked the right way, that fungus could be weaponized to devastate crops across the country. Now Congress wants to know what the university knew about the researchers, if it knew anything at all. โ€œThe university has no incentive to vet these foreign nationals as required by law,โ€ said Rep. Tim Walberg, chairman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce. โ€œIt makes a lot of money off the research and China pays the tuition.โ€ Whatโ€™s more, congressional committees have found that the smugglers were working under the supervision of two Michigan professors who also have extensive ties to the Chinese Communist Party. Their work over the years has been funded with nearly $10 million in federal grants. โ€œItโ€™s been an issue for many, many years,โ€ said Andy Arena, former chief of the FBIโ€™s counterterrorism operations. โ€œThe Chinese government is not our friend. The university turned a blind eye to it in pursuit of profit. They need to wake up.โ€ So now we have a little Wuhan on the Huron River, all in the name of profit. I studied political science at Michigan, so I feel qualified to offer this scientific equation: Federal grants + Foreign grants + Out-of-State tuition = BIG MONEY Not only has the universityโ€™s lust for lucre imperiled the people of America, it has prioritized the money of outsiders over the education of young people who are actually from Michigan. Consider the makeup of the incoming student body at other excellent public universities. The proportion of students who are actually residents of that state: University of Texas at Austin: 90% University of Florida: 88% University of California, Berkeley: 85% Michigan State University: 78% And the University of Michigan? 52% (17% of the student body are foreign nationals). What gives? Greed. Consider that tuition at Michigan is $43,000 more for out-of-state students than it is for kids who actually come from the Wolverine State. And remember, U-M has a $19 billion endowment, one of the largest of any public university in the country. They might be book smart in Ann Arbor, but the adults who administer the place are world stupid. There are the bio-weapons researchers for one, then there are the five Chinese exchange students who got caught in 2023 filmingโ€”in the dead of nightโ€”a joint military operation between the U.S. and Taiwanese militaries at Camp Grayling. Their current whereabouts are unknown. Then there is the Chinese undergrad who used his Michigan student ID to register to vote in the 2024 presidential election. The โ€œstudentโ€ was later charged with election offenses and forced to surrender his passport. Not to worry, the guy slipped out of the country using a second passport. Over the past dozen years, the University of Michigan has been a sordid swamp of sexual, sporting, and now spying scandals. In that time, there have been five university presidents, three head football coaches, and a nearly half-billion-dollar abuse settlement. The constant through it all has been Mark Bernstein, vice-chair of the Board of Regents and noted slip-and-fall lawyer. An attempt to leave a message with Bernsteinโ€™s law firm (1-800-Call-Sam) proved unsuccessful. Who knows how compromised the university has become with corporate kleptocrats and communist spies? Letโ€™s hope Congress gets to the bottom of the mess in Ann Arbor before weโ€™re all forced to bend over and kiss our asses zai jian.

NEW: David Sacks asks Democratic Presidential candidate Congressman Dean Phillips about the recently released report from German General Harald Kujat, which states that Russia and Ukraine sought peace at the start of the war, but the U.S. and NATO aimed to escalate the conflict in pursuit of regime change in Russia. ----- The report released last week by Michael von der Schulenburg, a former UN Assistant Secretary-General who worked for over 34 years for the United Nations and retired German General Harald Kujat, is a detailed reconstruction of the Russian and Ukrainian attempt at peace at the start of the war which was blocked by the Biden administration and Western nations: 1. Just one month after the start of the Russian military intervention in Ukraine, Ukrainian and Russian negotiators had come very close to an agreement for a ceasefire and to an outline for a comprehensive peace solution to the conflict. 2) In contrast to today, President Zelensky and his government had made great efforts to negotiate peace with Russia and bring the war to a quick end. 3) Contrary to Western interpretations, Ukraine and Russia agreed at the time that the planned NATO expansion was the reason for the war. They therefore focused their peace negotiations on Ukraineโ€™s neutrality and its renunciation of NATO membership. In return, Ukraine would have retained its territorial integrity except for Crimea. 4) There is little doubt that these peace negotiations failed due to resistance from NATO and in particular from the USA and the UK. The reasons is that such a peace agreement would have been tantamount to a defeat for NATO, an end to NATOโ€™s eastward expansion and thus an end to the dream of a unipolar world dominated by the USA. 5. The failure of the peace negotiations in March 2022 led to dangerous intensification of the war that has cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, especially young people, deeply traumatized a young generation and inflicted the most severe mental and physical wounds on them. Ukraine has been exposed to enormous destruction, internal displacements, and mass impoverishment. This si accompanied by a large-scale depopulation of the country. Not only Russia, but also NATO and the West bear a heavy share of the blame for this disaster. 6) Ukraineโ€™s negotiating position today is far worse than it was in March 2022. Ukraine will now lose large parts of its territory. 7. The blocking of the peace negotiations at that time has harmed everyone: Russia and Europe โ€“ but above all the people of Ukraine, who are paying with their blood the price for the ambitions of the major powers and will probably get nothing in return. ----- Democratic Presidential Candidate Dean Phillips momentarily concedes the truth in the last few sentences of his answer: "So, to answer your question, had there been a peace deal at that point that simply would have been we would give you territory back in return for not entering NATO, who in their right mind would say that was a bad deal?" ----- President Joe Biden. He is the reason there was no peace deal. He is the reason Ukraine is destroyed, and hundreds of thousands of young men and women in Ukraine are now dead. President Joe Biden played a leading role in starting the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, and Syria, which killed millions of people and wasted trillions of dollars while not serving the national security interest of the American people. President Biden turned down a peace deal at the start of the war because NATO and the Western military-industrial complex that Joe Biden has served his entire 50-year career in Washington DC were willing to sacrifice the youth of Ukraine in the pursuit of regime change in Russia. You should be ashamed of yourself if this is what you voted for.

๐Ÿ”ฅBreaking! Meet the War Games movie which was released right before the election. And based on, real life, War Gaming that happened in 2022 with the deepstate. They ainโ€™t hiding anything, and it includes an all star, anti Trump cast. The group included Republicans, Democrats and those who identified as non-partisan. Among them were two former US Senators, a US Governor, a handful of retired generals, and veterans of the CIA, FBI, DHS, and DOD. The exercise would be set in a representation of the White House Situation Room, the underground command center where the President manages civilian and military crises. Some of the involved individuals: - Alexander Vindman -GENERAL (RET.) WESLEY CLARK -SEN. DOUG JONES Alabama -David Priess served as a CIA officer during both the Clinton and George W. Bush administrations -PETER STRZOK -Fred Wellman (Lincoln Project) - Bill Kristol can be seen in the background among the various consultants Quote from the video: โ€œYou can authorize lethal force.โ€ And what was just changed by Biden on an executive order? These are the things Democrat wet dreams are built on. The video even included an assassination attempt on one of the candidates. โ€œA real-life political thriller set on January 6, 2025, War Game imagines a nation-wide insurrection in which members of the US military defect to support the losing Presidential candidate, while the winning candidate and his advisorsโ€”played by an all-star roster of senior officials from the last five administrationsโ€”war games the crisis in the White House situation room. They have 6 hours to save democracy as the country teeters on the brink of civil war.โ€ So where did they think up the idea for this movie? โ€œWhen the nonprofit Vet Voice Foundation organized the six-hour unscripted exercise โ€” inspired by a Washington Post op-ed from three retired generals โ€” exactly one year after the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection, former president Donald Trump was still in retreat at Mar-a-Lago and Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) was the partyโ€™s rising star. They brought in two documentarians, Jesse Moss (โ€œBoys Stateโ€) and Tony Gerber (โ€œFull Battle Rattleโ€), to build a set that looked like the situation room and film the action in a hotel where insurrectionists had stayed.โ€ (Vet Voices is supported by Priorities USA ) โ€œI think the stakes that we confronted on January 6th, 2022, in this hotel ballroom in D.C., are even more so depressingly higher today than they were then,โ€ says former Montana Gov. Steve Bullock (D), who plays the president in the exercise.โ€ Interestingly a Serbian Otpor founder was present at one of the screenings. War Game screening and panel discussion at the Tides Advocacy, Movement Infrastructure Project. โ€œIvan Marovic- Executive Director, International Center on Nonviolent Conflict, and core member of OTPOR!, a youth movement which played a critical role in bringing down Serbian dictator Slobodan Milosevic. Advisor for pro-democracy groups around the world, and has been designing and developing learning programs on civil resistance and movement building, and supporting the development of training organizations, such as Rhize and the African Coaching Network.โ€ The founder of the Movement Infrastructure project, in an X post, told JD Vance to jump from a building. In September 2024, Gov. Josh Shapiro joined the directors and participants from War Game Film to discuss an all too plausible crisis and what to do about it. Sources to follow, including the long list of names that should be nothing near a Trump admin.

OF RJ Austin (Vanderbilt Baseball) is an intriguing college hitter in this year's Draft. Carved out an every day role as a Freshman and collected 18 XBH with 43 RBIs, but had a breakout summer on the Cape to the tune of a .327/.426/.376 slash line with 13 RBIs in 29 games. Carried that momentum over into last season where he hit .335/.402/.471 with 14 2B, 5 HRs, 54 RBIs and 28 SB. Earned an invitation to Team USA, but had a strong 15-game stint on the Cape and hit .321/.361/.536 with 6 2B, 2 HRs and 9 RBIs. Strong, athletic build at 5'11" and 193-lbs with plenty of natural strength. Stands fairly tall in the box with his knees slightly bent and a tight base with a slightly open front side. Austin has lowered his handset a bit since last spring, and he now has more of a medium-high handset. Barrel tip in his load is accompanied by his hands drifting. High leg kick leads into a rather lengthy stride. Quick hands and easy plus bat speed. Athletic look, rotates well. Austin's hit tool has taken positive strides since the start of his college career, and last year he posted an overall contact rate of 82% and an IZ contact rate of 91% (including 94% against FB). Present feel for the barrel. Approach and swing decisions still need some fine-tuning, and Austin is susceptible to FBs in the top and outer-1/3 as well as secondaries down-and-away. Very pull-oriented approach. Would give it a 50, probably closer to a 55 than a 50. Austin's also a strong kid with more impact in the tank than his 12 career HRs might suggest. All of his HR power has come to the pull side, but he needs to get the ball up in the air more. Posted a Max EV of 110 last spring. There are some ingredients to work with here, but has to lift the baseball on a more regular basis. Power plays as a 45 in-game. Has had limited experience in the OF to this point, but will roam CF this spring for Vanderbilt. Got a fair amount of run out there this summer on the Cape. Austin's speed and athleticism both translate to the positionโ€”he can go and get itโ€”but the reads and route running will need refinement. Fringe-average arm. I'm curious to see the progress over the course of the season. I alluded to it, but Austin is a plus runner and an effective base-stealer. Twitchy. 2nd-3rd round type for me this July.
