🔥 96-100 MPH OF throws 😳 Uncommitted '25 OF Johran Porter (Johran) let it fly from the outfield this weekend at a workout. He was previously up to 94 MPH at the ✭Five Tool Texas✭ showcase in August. There’s definitely a ton of intrigue around the 6-1, 190-pound senior with his tools. Ran a 6.71s 60 and hit really well during his BP session (previously 94 MPH EV). 6’7 19 year old Guard Kameron Taylor is one of the most underrated prospects in the 2026 NBA Draft. Taylor has been one of the biggest underclassmen standouts this season where he’s averaging 18/5/3, and is averaging 23/4/2 on 46/35/75 splits in conference play. Taylor is an elite athlete at 6’7 who has the ability to create for himself at the rim and from the mid range for himself at his teammates at a high level. Taylor is one of the best PNR operators in the country where he’s in the 87th percentile in PNR play. Taylor is a high level finisher who’s shooting 60% at the rim on 135 attempts which is among the highest in the country. Taylor is also a strong spot up threat from three who’s shooting 40% on catch and shoot threes in conference play on high usage. There’s not many players Taylor’s age and size with his mix of athleticism, creation, finishing, ability to draw fouls, mid range scoring, and shooting and defensive upside. Taylor has extremely high potential and he’s been one of the best underclassmen in the country this season. This season Taylor, Cameron Boozer, and AJ Dybantsa are the only players in college basketball who have a FTR of 50, 15 dunks, 50 makes at the rim, and 20 made threes.

No. 21 Barton College Baseball (22-5, 7-5) sweeps Francis Marion at home and is now an impressive 20-1 at home after a doubleheader sweep today. Is there anyone better on both sides of the ball than Tanner Halvorson? The Senior pitched a complete game with 8 strikeouts to go to 6-0 and hit a home run in the same game in the first game of the doubleheader. The top ranked team in the state, Defiance Baseball used a 6 run 5th inning to defeat #4 (D6) Fairview High School Baseball 9-4 in a tune up game for both teams before the tourney starts later this week. 8 of 9 hitters for the Bulldogs collected hits, and 7 of 9 hitters scored runs as Defiance used a balanced attack 1-9 in the lineup. Logan Hutcheson had three hits out of the leadoff spot while the 2-3 hole of Cohen Stockman-Brady Borton drove in 5 runs. Garyson Smiddy went the distance on the bump, striking out 9. With 2 outs and the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year representing the tying run at the plate, Coach Steve Sabins tapped the Bridgeport, WV native to get the 1-out save. “McDougal has had ice water in his veins man, he’s a killer.
