A Liverpool first team training session vs an academy session. The two sessions are structured almost identically, with small tweaks to reflect the levels. This is advantageous for a number of tactical and technical reasons, but specifically in terms of physical load monitoring. Using our technology, academy and first team coaches can seamlessly monitor and access academy players’ physical data as they move from the academy set up to the first team. With such similarly designed training sessions, theoretically, it makes the young players’ transition to the first team easier and limits blind spots in terms of load monitoring.

Today, we completed another exchange. 103 Ukrainian defenders have been returned from Russian captivity. Many of these men have been held since 2022 – from the first months of the war. These include warriors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, border guards, police officers, and soldiers from other elements of our Defense and Security Forces. Among them are defenders from the Kyiv and Donetsk regions, including Mariupol and Azovstal, as well as other parts of the regions. Some were captured in Kharkiv and Kherson regions as well. Some of the men are in serious condition due to injuries, and all will receive the necessary care. I want to thank our exchange team for their work. And my deep gratitude to all our brave combat brigades who continue to contribute to the "exchange fund" for our country. KINGMAKER (Timeform rating 83) was purchased by the team at Tattersalls yesterday. He has been consistent in his last three starts before coming to the sale. His finishing effort at Kempton last time out was massively eye-catching. Zarakerjack who finished 3rd in this race was also on our list for a different project. Kingmaker offers the perfect dual purpose profile for him to continue his career over in Ireland. When we first pulled him out from his box, we were amazed with his size, for only being a three year old. He has so much scope to improve for National Hunt style racing. He will be gelded and given a week or two to recover before heading into training with Willie. Personally, I think it's the same for Finland, Bulgaria, Belgium, and I think it's the same for Serbia, but when you look at overseas teams, like Italy, Poland, and Portugal, they're mostly made up of players who are active in Poland and Italy. I have the feeling that the matches are in the preparation stage, so I think the players who play abroad, and especially the key players among them, really show their strength when the national teams of each country meet to play. For Turkey, Mandiraci, who played well in our match, plays for Piacenza, and his opponent, Lagumdžija, plays for Lube. Looking at these, you can see that there are many players who have steadily improved their skills abroad. The players who compete abroad are very strong, and I had the feeling they were the cornerstone of the team. -So, what's the big difference? Yuki: In Italy, players of different nationalities compete, and in Poland, players of different nationalities compete too. So, if you look at it from that perspective, well, at this stage it's just me and Otsuka, so I feel like there's a slight difference. -Looking back at the WCH results, what do you think were the determining factors? Yuki: As for the matches we lost, I think we weren't able to play our style of volleyball. As for not being able to play well, I think, in practice and in the freshmen matches, there were many things that didn't go well, and for that reason there were concerns, and I think we weren't able to give our best. Also, I think mental preparation is necessary to play well in important matches like these, and I think that's the most important thing, both for the team and for individuals. I think I haven't reached that point yet, yes. -You mentioned some concerns, but what was your biggest concern? Y: Even though we won two matches against Bulgaria, in terms of content, it wasn't a very good match in some ways. I wouldn't say we played 100% as usual, and against Italy we played a good match, but I wouldn't say we played 100% of our volleyball. So, I think from that point on, we lost sight of what we needed to do. -Miyaura was a starter, and I think you've played a lot this season, but what kind of season has it been for you? Yuki: As for this WCH, I was really disappointed with the result, and as for my performance, it's not that I'm disappointed, but I felt like I wasn't able to give my best. I have no choice but to look forward, so I think I need to build on this experience. I played every VNL match, and there were some things that went well, so I'll use them to boost my confidence. I am grateful for the productive conversation and all the questions that helped us form a common vision on how to bring peace closer. The Dallas Police Department’s new Drone as First Responder program officially launched today with eight remotely piloted drones based at Dallas Fire-Rescue stations across the City of Dallas. These drones are operated out of the Fusion/Real Time Crime Center and are designed to respond to calls for service in a two-mile radius from their base station. The base locations were selected based on heat maps of calls for service for both police and fire, placing them where they can potentially respond to the greatest number of calls. The pilots will be able to get to the scene quicker than in a squad car and begin to provide real-time intelligence and feedback to officers, as well as reduce the level of response or clear a call entirely if the incident has resolved. If a pilot sees a call in a drone’s response area where aerial intelligence can enhance officer safety, they can deploy a drone to provide critical updates to officers at the scene. Each drone is equipped with a thermal camera to help during nighttime operations, as well as a loudspeaker to make announcements to individuals on the ground. “I challenged our team to find innovative ways to continue improving our response times, and this new drone unit will not only keep officers free to respond to more calls, but provide real time updates as they are responding to calls,” said Dallas Police Chief Daniel Comeaux. “Even during our training, our pilots were able to clear three holding calls in an hour with one drone.
