To address this, Ebubechukwu developed Baza ng, a digital platform that links farmers to consumers, improving market access, reducing waste and strengthening the supply chain. In yesterday's second Reading debate on the Sporting Events Bill, our director Lord Young raised the over-use of Football Banning Orders. He pointed out that these authoritarian orders, originally introduced as a targeted measure to combat football hooliganism in 1989, are now applied to fans convicted of minor misdemeanours such as calling Chelsea fans 'rent boys', sometimes preventing them from attending games — or using public transport on match days — for five years. It's time these orders were confined to their original purpose, namely to prevent violence and disorder.

This evening, I welcomed our brave young men and women from Libya as part of the Migrant Protection, Return, and Reintegration Programme for Sub-Saharan Africa (MPRR-SSA). This initiative, a collaboration between the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the European Union, aims to protect and assist migrants in Sub-Saharan Africa and facilitate their voluntary return and reintegration into their home countries. On behalf of the government, I assured our brothers and sisters that, together with our development partners, we will ensure they are settled peacefully and reintegrated successfully. Ghana is our home, and we are committed to building it together. #YouthPower #StrongerTogether
