Dr. Sabiha Baloch, Central Leader of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), addressed a seminar on International Human Rights Day, highlighting that while the UDHR guarantees fundamental rights to all, the Baloch nation is denied even the basic right to life. She stressed that in times of severe state oppression, Baloch people must preserve their ideology, spread awareness, and strengthen unity starting from their families and communities. She stated that the denial of rights stems from the occupying powerโ€™s dehumanization of the Baloch, valuing the land over its indigenous people. According to her, the state uses violence, fear, tribal conflicts, and narcotics to suppress the population, and the nation must reclaim its humanity. Reflecting on last yearโ€™s Baloch National Gatherings, she said the events demonstrated the strength of unity. Despite this, the state has imprisoned BYC members for nine months on fabricated charges and continues enforced disappearances, torture, night raids, and forced displacements across Balochistan. Dr. Sabiha urged society to expose and socially boycott collaborators and state-backed death squads who divide the community and aid oppression. In closing, she called on all segments of Baloch society to work collectively to end violence and genocide, raise their voices for the disappeared, and continue resistance until the Baloch regain unity, humanity, and control over their land. #InternationalHumanRightsDay #StopBalochGenocide

The protest was attended by a large number of civilians, including women and children, who gathered to raise their voices against the growing wave of targeted killings, fear, and oppression carried out by the state and its proxy groups. As the rally began, four armed men on motorcycles opened fire in an attempt to disperse the peaceful protesters. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. This attack is a continuation of a broader pattern of state sponsored violence in Balochistan, where death squads operate with impunity, abducting, killing, and intimidating political activists and civilians without facing any consequences. The Baloch Yakjehti Committee reaffirms its resolve to resist all forms of state brutality and stand shoulder to shoulder with the families of those martyred in this ongoing campaign of terror. #StopBalochGenocide

Salam Baloch Raj! โ€‹Today, we look at our lives and those around us. Many may not grasp the depth of the situation, but we feel that life is not as it should be! โ€‹If we look at the life of: ๐—ž๐—ผ๐—ต-๐—ฒ-๐—ฆ๐˜‚๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ป, every day someone is lost to cancer, and families are struggling just to save a single life. ๐—œ๐—ป ๐—•๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ, the region once known as the "Greenbelt," people are now dying of hunger. The land is being divided, and the Baloch are forced to beg just to survive. We see the malnutrition and mothers dying during childbirth. โ€‹In ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป, the sea is on one side and the border on the other. Both sources of livelihood have been confiscated by the state. While the Baloch struggle to survive. People are being displaced from their homes, and the land is being handed over to others like charity. To resist this, the Baloch are being killed or disappearing. ๐—œ๐—ป ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฎ, Baloch culture and values are being eroded. Many are being pushed into a state of unaware slavery. Women and children are being disappeared and harassed leaving families in a perpetual search with no answers. In these areas, drugs have become more accessible than food. โ€‹Checkpoints across our land are complicit in these genocidal acts, even facilitating the movement of drugs destroying our youth. โ€‹Overall, Balochistan has been turned into a "death well" defined by oppression, road accidents, cancer, extrajudicial killings, harassment, and enforced disappearances. There is a total collapse of health and education. โ€‹The state calls this "security". What state destroys an entire nation to secure itself? This is not security; it is Genocide. โ€‹For this reason, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee marks January 25th as #๐—•๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—š๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐——๐—ฎ๐˜†. We remember the mass graves of Tootak; to this day, we do not know who they were, but we know they were Baloch, and their mothers are still sitting on the roads searching for them. โ€‹Last year, we spoke to the world about the Baloch Genocide in Dalbandin. Today, the circumstances are even more dire. The state is using all its power to crush every voice that rises by killing, imprisoning, and disappearing. But being silent isn't an option. โ€‹Therefore, we appeal to every Baloch across the world who are free to move and speak: Raise your voice. Use every means at your disposal to tell the world about the Baloch Genocide. 1: โ€‹Write letters to embassies. 2: โ€‹Meet with journalists to share the truth. 3: โ€‹Distribute pamphlets and educational materials. 4: โ€‹Organise silent walks and protests. 5: โ€‹Create videos and digital content. Let the world hear about the Baloch Genocide by the state of Pakistan.
