On their return to... the hospital, the personnel encountered a group of people from a tavern along the road who violently attacked them and opened the doors of the moving vehicle. The Department of Health in Limpopo has condemned the incident. "As a department, we are both appalled and deeply disappointed by this incident. We urge all communities to reject such behavior, and we demand that those responsible face the full force of the law. Jones reports on February 16, 2025 at 1900 hours the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Services (ERS) Team was called up by the State of Ohio Emergency Management Agency (EMA) by request of the Kentucky EMA to assist first responders in Hazard Kentucky. The effects of the powerful storm that has swept through Kentucky has caused flooding that has inundated roads and homes with several deaths reported. This weather event could overwhelm their resources in Kentucky in aiding their community and the Sheriff’s Office is responding to assist when and where requested. Five (5) members of the Emergency Response Services (ERS) Team are answering this call to service working various positions in incident management along with the Northern Kentucky Incident Management Team. Butler County Sheriff’s Office personnel will be deployed for seven (7) days. This operation is funded by the Federal Government. “Our training and service to the community reaches far beyond the borders of Butler County. ENUGU STATE: An incident was reported yesterday between 11am and 12 noon around Lomalinda, in front of Arena in Enugu State, where NBM (Aye) cultists att@cked a man who is a Navy personnel. Naija Confra investigated the case, and after speaking with sources on the ground, it was gathered that last week, while some boys were playing football, NBM cultists attempted to intimidate and att@ck one of the boys. A Navy personnel, who also plays football with the group, intervened and stopped them from att@cking the boy. The cultists then threatened to att@ck the Navy personnel. Yesterday morning, after a football session, the NBM cultists returned with more members. As the Navy personnel was leaving, they att@cked and injvred him before fleeing the scene. One of the NBM cultists identified as the chief mastermind of the att@ck is named Jerry. The case has been reported to the Uwani State CID, and it is expected that those involved in the attack will be arrested, as many of them are known. Reject Cultism.

[ONE KILLED AND ANOTHER INJURED BY A MOB IN A STOCKTHEFT RELATED INCIDENT] Police at Verena are investigating a stock theft related incident whereby two male persons were reportedly cornered and assaulted by an unidentified group of people after being reportedly found with livestock believed to have been stolen. One of the alleged suspects died whilst the other one sustained some injuries. The incident occurred in Verena on Wednesday, 24 December 2024. According to a report, Police as well Medical Emergency Services were called to the scene, and it was during this period when one of the men was pronounced dead, while the other was taken to the hospital for treatment. He is currently hospitalized under Police guard. The incident is believed to be linked to stocktheft incident, where 26 cattle, six goats, and a donkey were reportedly stolen from a certain farm in Verena. The Police investigation indicates that a shepherd was attacked earlier that day then robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash. Thereafter, the suspects are believed to have fled the scene in two bakkies with trailers when their vehicles got stuck in the mud, leading to their capture and attack by the mob. Two bakkies were also torched during the incident.

AUCHI, EDO: We received reports of a cult-related attack that took place yesterday in Auchi, Edo State. The attack was carried out by the Vikings (DNKI) cult group in retaliation for the recent k!ll!ng of one of their members, Suraj, by the Aye (NBM) cult group. (Video on Telgrm). AGO-IWOYE, OGUN: On Thursday, Naija Confra reported the case of a final-year student of Olabisi Onabanjo University who was k**led on Wednesday night, June 17, 2026, around the Meekad-Mariam area in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. While many described the incident as a robbery attack, others claimed that the attackers disguised themselves as robbers. Naija Confra will not go into much detail, as the police are actively investigating the case. What we can confirm is that the victim was named Timmy and was a member of the Eiye (ACN) cult group. In the morning, women journalists who went to Revanth Reddy's native village to cover a story on loan waivers were attacked. Now, look at how the same journalists are being chased by goons as they head to file a complaint. This is an absolute mockery of law & order in Telangana. The vehicle numbers & the faces of the people in the vehicle are clearly visible. What more is needed to take action?

A serious incident that occurred yesterday evening in the Paediatrics ward at Ayub Teaching Hospital. A 2-month-old patient who was on oxygen and ventilator support required CPR. While the doctor was performing CPR, the patient’s attendants physically attacked the doctor. Despite the presence of police, the attendants assaulted and verbally abused the doctor in front of multiple medical staff. The attendants falsely accused the doctor of causing the patient’s death. The child had been brought in critical condition and all possible medical care and counselling were provided by the on-duty medical team. However, instead of cooperation, the attendants resorted to violence against the healthcare provider who was attempting to save the child’s life. This is the dark side of being a doctor.

Today, in my capacity as the President of NANS, I led all the structures of NANS, including sister unions, NAUS, NAPS, NANCES and NFSAN to the Community High school, Ahoro-Esiele, and Yawato community in Orire Local Government area of Oyo state, where we visited the scenes where our students and teachers were abducted. Going forward, we met with the King, some of the families of the victims, and parents in the communities of Ahoro-Esiele and Yawato communities. Furthermore, we assured them of our solidarity and support for them in this time of trouble and grief. Subsequently, we assured them that we are constantly calling on the government to ensure the immediate rescue and safe return of the abducted students and teachers. Conclusively, I assured all Nigerian Students that as far as I remain their President, I will continue to protect their interest. 4/6 While traveling to the area on the fifth day we encountered hundreds of civilians fleeing under gunfire. We witnessed a woman shot in the back of the head. When a young man tried to retrieve her, he too was shot. We were able to recover her body using our UN vehicle.

Just before 12:30 Monday afternoon, the FDNY responded to a 4-alarm fire at 44-49 College Point Boulevard in Queens. Tragically, four people lost their lives in this fire. Two other victims were transported to area hospitals in critical condition. During operations, a stairwell collapsed, trapping two of our members. They were transported to area hospitals in stable condition. More than 230 firefighters and EMS personnel responded. “This is a difficult and tragic day. There were several victims in this fire. The Fire Department did an extraordinary job under difficult circumstances, putting this fire out and saving people. I can't thank them enough for their continued efforts and commitment to life safety,” said Fire Commissioner Lillian Bonsignore. “Upon arrival, we had heavy fire on all three floors of this building. Just before 12:30 Monday afternoon, the FDNY responded to a 4-alarm fire at 44-49 College Point Boulevard in Queens. Tragically, four people lost their lives in this fire. Two other victims were transported to area hospitals in critical condition. During operations, a stairwell collapsed, trapping two of our members. They were transported to area hospitals in stable condition. More than 230 firefighters and EMS personnel responded. “This is a difficult and tragic day. There were several victims in this fire. The Fire Department did an extraordinary job under difficult circumstances, putting this fire out and saving people. I can't thank them enough for their continued efforts and commitment to life safety,” said Fire Commissioner Lillian Bonsignore. “Upon arrival, we had heavy fire on all three floors of this building. We have been informed of a ghastly road accident that has occurred, involving four of our campaign team members. They have all been rushed to hospital. The four are part of a team that was driving from Nyamira back to Nairobi having accompanied the United Green Movement Presidential Aspirant, CJ (Emeritus) Maraga. We understand that: "A lorry veered off the road, lost control and swerved into us on our lane." We are following the situation closely. We are in touch with our colleagues. We ask that you keep them in prayer as the Doctors and nurses attend to them.
