Botswana's President Duma Boko, who took office on November 1, 2024, captured singing a Xhosa religious song with fluent rendition. Boko reportedly has South African Xhosa origins and heritage. Xhosa-speaking people and communities are found in South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe. With a population of about 9.6 million, Xhosas are the second largest ethnic group in South Africa after Zulu-speaking people who are about 15 million. They are mainly found in Eastern Cape, Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng provinces. Born in 1969 in the Mahalapye area of Botswana, Boko, who is Tswana by nationality, is associated with Xhosa-speaking communities locally and in the region. When my team and I went to Goma to produce a documentary on the Battle for Goma (Goma Offensive), we were informed that the SADC force, led by Major General Monwabisi Dyakopo, never went on a peacekeeping mission but they planned to destroy M23, a military wing representing the interests of 11 million Kinyarwandan Congolese people defending themselves against the Congolese government and terrorist groups seeking to displace them from their ancestral land, which was lost to Congo during colonialism. It was also alleged that SADC intended to overthrow the Rwandan government. However, the SADC forces were quickly surrounded, deserted by Congolese soldiers sympathetic to M23, and captured by the very disciplined M23 forces, who enjoy support from the over 11 million Kinyarwandans and Congolese tribes like the Bashi in Kivu. These people who constitute 11 million Congolese people view M23 as their regional army. SADC was never going to win a war as fish fighting the water. A settler militia brutally attacked Israeli activists today (Friday) in the village of Qusra in the Nablus District, West Bank. Two were injured and hospitalized in moderate condition. The unrestrained attacks carried out by settlers throughout the West Bank constitute state violence. They are carried out with full backing, participation, and assistance from state authorities, as part of a strategy of Israel’s apartheid regime seeking to advance and complete the takeover of Palestinian land. In a video documenting the beginning of the attack, filmed by one of the activists, the assailants can be seen arriving in a Polaris Ranger all terrain vehicle, which was most likely provided to them by the Israeli government. Dozens of such vehicles have been distributed over the past two years by the Ministry of Settlement to outposts across the West Bank, and settlers regularly use them as vehicles that enable rapid access to carry out violent attacks almost anywhere.

If no agreement can be reached it will go to a special court and they will determine the price of the land. The lies being spread about SA is laughable no such things are happening here. I guarantee you at least 90% of the people will return. Don’t listen to anyone but Mr Jaco Minnaar is President of AGRISA who ironically represents 99.9% white farmers, he said” their no confiscation of land in South Africa. Even The Dead Were Not Safe From Colonialism On March 23, 2026, the remains of 63 members of South Africa’s indigenous Khoisan ethnic groups were reburied in their ancestral land, nearly 2 centuries after being stolen by Europeans under the country’s colonial regime and shipped to Scotland. The ceremony, which took place at Kinderlê Monument, Northern Cape, represented a moment of closure for the descendants of these 63 Khoisan, and another significant step in historical reparations for one of Africa’s longest and most directly colonized countries. South Africa – as it is known today – was first colonized by Europeans in the mid 17th century. The Khoisan were the first to fight back, but Western support for the settler colonists eventually crushed the rebellion, and what followed was generations of institutionalized violence and dehumanization, perpetrated by these colonists and their descendants against South Africa’s rightful inhabitants. 1994 saw an official end to that reign of terror, with the election of Nelson Mandela as South Africa’s first democratically-elected President. If you think Jan van Riebeeck arrived in 1913 and stole your grandfathers land you are clearly clueless. The Dutch negotiated with the Khoi and bought the first Cape of Good Hope territories in the Crudop Agreement of 1672. This took place over a century before the Bantu's and the Boers first met at the Fish River in 1779, and almost 250 years before the creation of South Africa in 1910. The Bantu history of land acquisition, war and violence is far more brutal well outside the borders of the Cape. Never mind the Bantu decimation of the Khoisan from central down to southern Africa, the formation of the largest tribal territory in South Africa, in current Kwa-Zulu Natal, under King Shaka Zulu, was a result of the murder of 1 - 2 million Bantu's in the Mfecane. If the EFF want to talk about history, they need to at least make an effort to understand it first. Instead of creating racial hatred, inciting violence and burning down everything in their path, if the EFF and the rest of the nazis instead focused on the principles of hard-work, self respect, mutual respect, education, fighting crime and corruption, clean streets, safe streets, government accountability, learning how to farm, building their own schools, growing the economy and every other common-sense practice that creates peace and prosperity... BBC journalists were able to geolocate the video and claim the incident took place on the Salah- al-Din Road, the main road from north to south in Gaza. BBC reporter who is on the ground in Gaza has also spoken to a photographer who says he was in the car with the cameraman who took the video. This is Jacob Zuma, the former President of South Africa, whose political party, MK, has been encouraging South Africans to chase not only undocumented immigrants out of the country, but even black Africans who are legally living and working in South Africa. His campaign vehicles have been driving around KwaZulu-Natal with loudspeakers urging people to drive black Africans out of the country, regardless of whether they are in South Africa legally or not. And then, after all of that, he flew to India to meet the Gupta family, the very people accused of helping to orchestrate the industrial-scale corruption that nearly bankrupted South Africa through state capture. When they faced accountability, they ran away from South Africa, first for Dubai and then for India. Think about the contradiction. A man whose campaign encourages hostility towards fellow Africans is, at the same time, embracing foreign friends who became synonymous with one of the biggest corruption scandals in South African history. By his own admission in this video, he has made it clear that he is unhappy with the direction the country took in pursuing those implicated in state capture. Meanwhile, ordinary black South Africans are being mobilised against fellow black Africans who are living in South Africa legally, while the political battle being fought is, in reality, about power, accountability and the legacy of state capture. They are being drawn into a campaign that serves political interests rather than addressing the country’s real challenges. History should record this moment. It should record the irony of fellow Africans being turned against one another while those accused of presiding over one of the darkest chapters of corruption in South Africa seek a return to political power. That is a tragedy that future generations should never forget. Imagine dehumanising fellow black Africans who look like you, speak languages like yours, and share the same continent, all so that Jacob Zuma’s Indian friends can return and loot South Africa again.

BAIL DENIED AGAIN | The State has successfully opposed a bail application based on alleged new facts brought by Janitha van Reenen Coetzee (25) in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate's Court. Coetzee faces a charge of fraud involving approximately R424 000 allegedly defrauded from the Emfuleni Local Municipality. It is alleged that the accused misrepresented herself as an independent agent capable of assisting residents in obtaining discounts on outstanding municipal accounts. Victims allegedly paid her money to make discounted payments to the municipality on their behalf. However, the funds were allegedly never paid over to the municipality. The accused also allegedly submitted claims to the municipality on behalf of the victims. It is further alleged that the municipality paid approximately R424 000 to the accused, which was never paid to the intended beneficiaries. The alleged fraud was uncovered when the then Chief Financial Officer of Emfuleni Local Municipality, Martha Mani Rantsofu, who has since passed away, identified suspicious claims amounting to approximately R424 000 and reported the matter to her manager. Following an internal investigation, the municipality reported the matter to the South African Police Service for further investigation. During the bail proceedings, the State, represented by Prosecutor Moses Raditsela, opposed the application and argued that the accused posed a flight risk because her residential address could not be properly verified due to inconsistencies regarding her place of residence. The State further submitted that no genuine new facts had been presented to the court, as the issues raised had already been considered and addressed during the previous bail application. It argued that releasing the accused on bail would not be in the interests of justice. In delivering judgment, Magistrate Mamburu agreed with the State's submissions and found that the information presented by the accused did not constitute new facts. The court further held that it would not be in the interests of justice to release the accused on bail. Consequently, the bail application based on new facts was dismissed.
