𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗣𝗢 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗢𝗦 Chaotic traffic conditions are currently being experienced along the R101 between Polokwane, Mokopane and Mookgophong as motorists head southbound towards Gauteng following the Heritage Day long weekend. Traffic congestion has intensified along the route, with some motorists driving on the incoming-traffic lane to bypass the queues,... creating a serious safety risk for other road users. Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution, remain patient and avoid driving on the incoming lane or making dangerous overtaking manoeuvres. Actually all those motorists on R101 are a disappointment. Why can't they use N1? It is safe, flowing, faster and light in petrol.

I don't do long weekends at home. I will accumulate leave or at least come back early if there is a need

With so many routes to PTA and jozi why do people stand for the congestion on the N1 and R101?
