𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 ❌ underestimate the importance of solid reference! Not only did animator Shaofu Zhang do an incredible job with the reference for this shot from the Big Hero 6 teaser, but watching the translation from the ref to the final anim is simply magical!

You can build an entire short film from a single premise without prompting shot by shot. One Venice API key, one loose idea, and an AI agent handles the script, the reference images, the shots, and the final assembly. 🧵Let’s create:

Got to do the rough animation for this funny scene from The Traffic, I wanted to make GB very expressive since the voice acting was great and asked for that level of exaggeration. The underwater scene is a reference to The Sunken Place from Get Out! #twwwog #gumball

This sketch from the Tracey Ullman Show is brilliant. I assume the opening line is a reference to members of the notorious Cambridge Five but the main premis about women over the age of 37 being invisible is so sharp!

🚨🇺🇸 Trump: “An officer was shot… but saved by his very good bulletproof vest. Shot from a very close distance with a powerful gun. The vest did the job.” Trump personally spoke to him, and the agent is doing great, in high spirits, proud as hell. A Hero.

MAJOR BOMBSHELL DROPPED BY ADV TEMBEKA NGCUKAITOBI SC Something that South Africa were not aware off and perhaps the biggest bombshell of the day at the Constitutional Court, according to Adv Tembeka Ngcukaitobi the high level review panel on Phala Phala "did not do what they were asked to do and the review panel disregarded their terms of reference" Basically did their own things. This is HUGE The actual terms of reference have been found but the EFF objected for these to be submitted to court. WHY DOES JULIUS MALEMA AND HIS EFF NOT WANT THE SLA FOR THE HIGH LEVEL REVIEW PANEL TO BE SUBMITTED TO COURT??

▶️Start from the reference point and expand outward. This time, the reference is the yellow building. Begin where the next shape can be reliably determined. Postpone areas with ambiguous shapes. I visually check the angle and distance of the lines before drawing it ! 📐📏

We discussed this on the show, but the cheekiness of Eric Goldberg animating this cartoon while stepping away from his Disney character-animating day job, and using the name 'Claude Raynes', a direct reference to The Invisible Man, cannot be ignored.
