𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗔 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗬𝗖 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗶 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗵 After a long period in Balochistan marked by state oppression, brutality, suppression of political voices, enforced disappearances, and extrajudicial killings, a broad political movement (BYC) emerged in response. This movement spread across... the entire Balochistan. People came out of their homes, and from every corner of Balochistan, from every political platform, organization, and group men, women, and children became part of this movement. Following large-scale gatherings in various regions of Balochistan, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) announced a grand national gathering “Baloch Raaji Muchi” to be held in Gwadar on July 28. The announcement came after widespread mobilizations across the region. From Karachi to the farthest corners of Balochistan, as preparations for the mass gathering progressed and the Baloch Yakjehti Committee began its journey to Gwadar, the state initiated crackdowns of various kinds. Roads were blocked, gunfire was opened, enforced disappearances took place, and repression began at every level. Fear and anxiety loomed everywhere, and Balochistan was effectively sealed and shut down. Despite all these obstacles, after great struggle, when we finally reached Gwadar, the city was under a curfew-like situation. From Quetta, Karachi, Turbat, Panjgur, to Nushki — security forces had sealed every route to prevent thousands, even hundreds of thousands, of people from reaching the site of the Baloch national gathering. On July 28 the day of Baloch Raaji Muchi was to take place, every street and alley of Gwadar was filled with checkpoints set up by security forces. Mobile networks were completely shut down. Yet, despite this climate of fear, the people of Gwadar were present at the gathering site. That very day, around 1 PM, vehicles of the forces approached the gathering and, opened direct fire. On 19 September 2025, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) Kech Zone organized a protest rally in Mand, Kech, against the extrajudicial killings of Izhar Baloch, Mullah Bahram, and Jalal Baloch on 6 September, and of Iltaf Baloch on 12 September, carried out by state-backed death squads. Baloch Yakjehti Committee, Shaal Zone organized a rally from Balochistan University to Baloch Martyrs Cemetery located at New Kahaan, Hazar Ganji. Hundreds joined the rally on motorcycles, rickshaws and vehicles chanting slogans against the Baloch genocide. The rally was also part of the mobilization for the upcoming National Gathering in Dalbandin on January 25, in Remembrance of Baloch Genocide Day. BYC leaders along with people honoured the sacrifices of Baloch martyrs and victims of State violence. Baloch masses from across Balochistan, under the banner of “Breaking Silence: Standing Against Enforced Disappearances,” are resisting state-sponsored crimes against them. In this effort, five peaceful protests have been organized in different regions of Balochistan. As part of this ongoing campaign, a peaceful protest was planned in Panjgur, where the administration and law enforcement agencies attempted to prevent people from participating. State authorities abducted a participant of protest and continue to monitor others involved in the protests. The lives of protesters are in grave danger, as they face the threat of enforced disappearances. After the protest in Panjgur, several protestors were followed and one the protestor Haseeb Baloch, a 22 years old graduate student from ARID university and a resident of Panjgur was enforcedly disappeared by Law enforcement Agencies. Previous protests were held in Karachi, Hub, Turbat, and Khuzdar, where the families of forcibly disappeared individuals registered their cases with the BYC. Dear Baloch Nation and the World, I, along with thousands of others, am still in Gwadar, with the internet shut down, roads blocked, and the city isolated with a complete media censorship imposed. Controlled media is continuously used to portray us as violent and unwilling to negotiate. From day one, we have been peaceful despite the state's brutal crackdown. Our national gathering on July 28 was turned into a sit-in due to the state's actions. State actions included blocking roads and highways, shutting down the internet, arresting peaceful protesters, and firing direct gunshots at them. Our clear, legitimate demands to create an environment of talks are: A. Registering FIRs against forces that used violence in Mastung, Gwadar, Nushki, Turbat, Talar and other parts of Balochistan by killing and injuring peaceful protesters. B. Lifting the blockade/curfew in Gwadar and other parts of Balochistan. State shall guarantee no further use of force or violence by the state security forces will occur. C. Stopping the harassment and arrest of BYC workers, supporters, and residents of Gwadar. Govt should admit it used force to crush a peaceful movement. D. Releasing all those arrested before, during, and after our national gathering. Bogus FIRS registered must be quashed. E. Compensate the public for financial damages caused by state military and intelligence agencies during the Baloch National Gathering by breaking into homes, vandalising property, burning vehicles and confiscating personal belongings. Instead of meeting our demands, the state is using more force, escalating the situation to find reasons to arrest me, my colleagues, and BYC leadership. The rest of the BYC leadership and I are at great risk and our lives are in serious danger. Now, all government machinery is being used to legitimize a crackdown on us, putting us at greater risk. The situation resembles the events during Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti's time, where negotiation was claimed, but force was used. This is being repeated now. We call on rights groups, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Amnesty International South Asia, Regional Office, Front Line Defenders, Human Rights Watch, Mary Lawlor, United Nations Pakistan - اقوام متحدہ پاکستان, EUPakistan, and Riina Kionka to intervene and stop this political misadventure by the state of Pakistan. “The days of your occupation are numbered!” – Mass protests erupted in Gwadar in the Balochistan region of Pakistan, demanding an end to the occupation by Pakistan. The protest was in response to human rights violations and extreme deployment of security forces in the southwestern Pakistani province. The Baloch Yakjehti Committee, which organized the protest, reported a massive police crackdown in response to the event. Over 60 people were arrested. “Human rights violations in Balochistan are at their peak. State institutions are brutally suppressing peaceful voices,” the statement added. Videos on social media and the BYC also reported the use of Pakistani armed forces firearms and live rounds to quell the protest. At least three people have been killed, and many others were injured.

The gathering was organized by the Association of Women from Kurdistan in Germany (YJK-E) in cooperation with activists from the Baloch Freedom Movement. The protest was attended by a large number of civilians, including women and children, who gathered to raise their voices against the growing wave of targeted killings, fear, and oppression carried out by the state and its proxy groups. As the rally began, four armed men on motorcycles opened fire in an attempt to disperse the peaceful protesters. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. This attack is a continuation of a broader pattern of state sponsored violence in Balochistan, where death squads operate with impunity, abducting, killing, and intimidating political activists and civilians without facing any consequences. Also our forces are ready to clear Pakistani occupational forces from our gold, oil, natural gas wells and strategically important regions. An army of five lack Baloch including women and retired Baloch guerrilla fighters are ready. Baloch war veterans are included in the army to guide Baloch ground forces by utilising their 70+ years of war expertise. The Balochistan National Party initiated a series of political education seminars from the 12th day of the sit-in protest camp at Lakpass Mastung. The series started with a tribute to the late Malik Saeed Dehwar and former chairman BSO Manzoor Baloch's life and contribution to the Baloch national movement. The second seminar would be on Babo Abdul Kareen Shorish and Malik Faiz Mohammed Yousufzai and the third seminar would be to honour pioneers of Baloch national politics Mir Abdul Aziz Kurd, Abdul Rahim Khuwaja Khail and Abdul Rahman Kurd. BNP invited all Balochi literary writers and intellectuals to participate in these public seminars going on at the sit-in protest camp at Lakpass Mastung Balochistan. Participants in the sit-in protests gathered from various parts of Balochistan, demanding the immediate release of Dr Mahrang Baloch, Bebo Baloch, Shah Jee Sughatullah Baloch, Beberg Baloch and all BYC leadership, Baloch human rights activists and political workers.
