Since his disappearance, his family has continued... to raise their voices through protest and a press conference, calling for his safe return. The family demanded that the authorities immediately release Asif Baloch. They stated that if he had committed any crime, he should have been produced before a court of law in accordance with due process, and his family should have been informed. The fact that he was not presented before a court, but instead subjected to enforced disappearance, raises serious concerns regarding the violation of his legal and human rights. Adeeba Baloch, daughter of forcibly disappeared Zaheer Baloch, who was enforcedly disappeared by Pakistani forces on 13 April 2015, has now staged a sit-in (dharna) late at night on Panjgur CPEC Road and this time for the safe release of her brother, Zeeshan Baloch, who has now also been forcibly disappeared by state-backed death squad on 29, June 2025. Despite our peaceful protests, state institutions continue to commit inhuman atrocities daily. The scourge of enforced disappearances is plaguing the entire Baloch Nation. We call upon the international community and the United Nations to take proactive measures to prevent this systematic collective violence against the Baloch people. Three Baloch students were forcibly abducted from their homes by security forces. The victims are identified as Bahadur Chakar, a student of the Botany Department at the University of Balochistan. Today, in Kisaak area of Kech, personnel of Frontier Corps used violence against women and children who were protesting for the safe recovery of their family members. For the last 7 days, family members of Washdil and others have closed the CPEC from D Baloch in Turbat for all traffic, protesting against the abduction of their family members. Human rights organizations and the international community must look into the grave rights abuses in Balochistan, particularly the abduction and extrajudicial killings of Baloch youth. The violence against women and children is increasing as they are compelled to take to the roads for the safe recovery of their family members. Unlawful Detention of BYC Leaders and Denial of Access to Families and Legal Counsel Constitute Grave Human Rights Violations On June 8th, leaders of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) were unlawfully transferred from Hudda District Prison in Quetta to the Civil Lines Police Station on a 10-day remand. Since their transfer, they have not been seen, and authorities have denied access to both their families and legal counsel. This complete lack of transparency has raised serious concerns about their safety, including fears of potential torture in custody. In response, the families of the detained leaders gathered in front of the Civil Lines Police Station to demand their legal and moral right to visit their loved ones. The Superintendent of Police informed them that no meetings would be permitted without a court order. However, even after obtaining the necessary court directives, police have continued to deny access. Only the mothers of Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Beebow Baloch have been granted brief visits, while all other family members and legal representatives remain barred. In protest against these illegal and authoritarian actions, the families have initiated a peaceful sit-in outside the Civil Lines Police Station.
