@BillArnoldTeach Buddy do I have a story for you.

@BillArnoldTeach JESUS: "When you pray, pray like this..." CATHOLICS: "Don't listen to Him. Listen to us." ๐

Jesus didnโt say โpray only like this.โ He gave a model. Catholics pray the Our Father every day and then do exactly what He also commanded: โKeep watch with Me.โ The Rosary is meditating on Christโs life while praying Scripture. Thatโs listening to Him, not replacing Him.

@BillArnoldTeach Correct, he didn't say "only like this." He gave us a model that looks nothing like the Rosary. In fact, in the same passage, he says NOT to pray like the Rosary. You shifted the goalposts.

Jesus condemned ๐ท๐ข๐ช๐ฏ ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ต๐ช๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ, not repeated prayer. If repetition itself were the problem, Psalm 136, the angels in Revelation, and Jesus Himself in Gethsemane would all be violations. The Rosary isnโt mindless repetition. Itโs Scripture-based meditation on Christโs life, prayed attentively. Thatโs exactly the distinction Jesus made.

@BillArnoldTeach 1. Psalm 136 is a song. 2. We are not angels. We have no understanding of God's purpose/expectations of them. 3. The Bible never describes Jesus praying in mindless repetition. 4. The Rosary is the definition of mindless repetition. It's not scripture based at all.

Calling the Rosary โnot Scripture-basedโ just means youโve never looked at what itโs meditating on.

@BillArnoldTeach When you need to use premade infographic talking points provided by your church, it's because you are the one who's never look into it. Nothing of what you posted shows the Rosary in the Bible at all. Meanwhile, you must completely butcher Jesus' words in Matthew 6.

@BillArnoldTeach Too bad for the first 1,000 years of Christians who never even had the Rosary. I guess God deprived them profoundly.

@BillArnoldTeach @KFHstoryteller โThe Rosary is the most powerful weapon to touch the Heart of Jesus, Our Redeemer, who loves His Mother.โ St. Louis de Montfort

@BillArnoldTeach Papal slop apologetics is turning me into the joker, @PresbyPilgrim

Amen ๐

@BillArnoldTeach "A prayer that actually works" Unlike what, the Lord's prayer?

@BillArnoldTeach Iโve praying the Rosary recently. I still need to buy one though.

One will find its way to you sooner than you think.

@BillArnoldTeach That would be good. There's so many options and variations, it's hard to pick one that would be right for me.

@BillArnoldTeach You have one in your fingers.. the rosary is not about the actual physical rosary, it is about the prayer and meditationโฆ

@BillArnoldTeach I agree. But Iโm coming out of a Protestant โitโs all subjectively in the mindโ type of system. Iโve come to need the physical so much more.

@BillArnoldTeach This girl is going places. Probably heaven.

@BillArnoldTeach I donโt imagine there are a ton of Protestants who recognize the power of praying the rosary. Not because none of them experience it, but rather because once they experience it, they donโt stay Protestant for long.

@BillArnoldTeach You just claimed prayers to God don't work. Congrats, you've gone full pagan heretic.

@BillArnoldTeach Getting back to basics. GenZ and GenA leading the way! Glory be to God!

@BillArnoldTeach

@BillArnoldTeach As soon as the Father found me in a swamp, alone, broken, something began breaking. All for the better. No beads. No doctrine. Which I donโt denigrate. Just the Father who came into my heart and transformed me. All praise to the Father. Happy for her, though.

@BillArnoldTeach The Rosary with the Hail Mary is more appealing to women. The Orthodox Christian prayer Rope with the Jesus Prayer, fits right in with a masculine man's everyday carry.

not to nit-pick, but we *say* the rosary, not *pray* the rosary. We say a prayer. The rosary is a prayer to God. Catholics *contemplate* the sacred mysteries, not *meditate*. That being said, well done by that protestant girl and all who take no offense at the Catholic Church/Catholics.

@BillArnoldTeach God is good.

@BillArnoldTeach Bless her openness and humility!

@BillArnoldTeach I hope you know about and are including the Luminous Mysteries in your rosary routine. God bless!

@BillArnoldTeach Catholic: praying to Mary is not idolatry. Protestant: given that you joined an institution whose most authoritative leader blessed a block of ice, I donโt have a lot of confidence in your ability to judge what counts as idolatry.

@BillArnoldTeach Great book for the Prots to use with it:

@BillArnoldTeach Praise be to God!

@BillArnoldTeach @MrCasey62

@BillArnoldTeach This is wonderful. I will pray for your continued growth into the Fullness of Faith!

@BillArnoldTeach

@BillArnoldTeach Sola Scriptra is all you need for Salvation. I always ask Catholics what is missing from Godโs Holy Word that would keep anyone from finding Salvation through Christ Jesus?

@BillArnoldTeach @MrCasey62 Amen! Deus Vult!!!

@BillArnoldTeach Please! No one has said "sola scriptura" for 400+ years. It was a rally cry in a long ago world. Bishop Barron suggests an alternative, "Prima Scriptura". Rosary prayer and reading scriptures are two of the basic pillars of Catholic devotion.

@BillArnoldTeach @LutheranAnswers Get this man an education.

@BillArnoldTeach Wrap it up as you want Mary is like the rest of us a sinner. Privileged to be used of God. Not to be raised up as above any of the rest of us. So no to praying to Mary, thanks! Read the Bible itโs Gods word.

@BillArnoldTeach All true. God bless her.
