Iranian security official Mohsen Rezaei has now warned that future U.S. and Israeli actions could push Tehran to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, while stressing that no decision has been made and Iran’s nuclear doctrine has not changed. Marandi sees several possible steps. Iran could leave the NPT without building a weapon, using withdrawal itself as leverage.
