A special moment with my mum going back inside my childhood home where I was raised🏡🥹❤️ Growing up in a social home meant the world to me ❤️ It gave me the safety and stability to grow, not just as a child, but as an artist too 🎶 That space, that energy, gave birth to ‘Born to Do It’ and I’ll always be grateful for that flat I shared with my mum 💫🙏🏽Without it, life may have taken a very different turn Returning there recently was a truly wholesome moment, full of memories & full of heart ✨ It reminded me of how important it is that, as a country, we keep investing in social housing. My beautiful princess has a new home ❤️💙 After growing up with two older brothers, Keeley is officially surrounded by sisters - and I couldn’t be more proud of her. Today she begins a new chapter at Ole Miss with her new Delta Gamma sisters, in the very place where Delta Gamma was founded more than 150 years ago. Her mom and I know that wherever life takes her, we will always be her home. The place she can come back to, no questions asked, with arms wide open and more love than she could ever possibly know. My mom passed peacefully at 1:11pm two days ago, surrounded by her three little birds, my sister, my brother, and me, holding her hand and stroking her head as we sang to her. The song Three Little Birds came on at just the right moment, like it was meant for her. And it was. She took her final breaths wrapped in our love, with music, light, and presence guiding her home. She was the brightest soul I’ve ever known. A radiant artist. A lover of dance, beauty, color, and connection. She saw magic in people, even those she’d never met, and bridged the gap between hearts without hesitation. She made everyone feel seen. She brought joy everywhere she went. She taught me how to notice life, how to play, how to trust the light within me. If you’ve ever been touched by my love or joy, it was seeded by her. After she passed, we stayed with her. We thanked her spirit, and we thanked her body for holding so much love, for creating us, for doing its job beautifully despite everything. And as we left the room, we did what she would have loved most: we clapped and cheered for her. Because she deserved a standing ovation. I told her I’d see her in every rainbow. In every 11:11. In laughter. In applause. In astronauts. Even if she’d lived 30 more years, it wouldn’t have been enough. Two hundred wouldn’t have been enough. Infinity wouldn’t have been enough. A young woman was out jogging when she came across a beautiful white dog sitting alone by the roadside. She felt a little nervous at first, but seeing how friendly the dog was, she approached, spoke to it, and gently petted it. The next day, she couldn’t stop thinking about the dog, so she went back to check on it. The dog was still in the exact same spot, recognized her immediately, and happily let her pet it. Thanks to a friendly neighbour who raised the alarm, our resident female swan was rescued yesterday by the heroic Harry and Dan. She had been missing for 48 hours and her mate was looking dejected, so we looked everywhere for her round our lake - no sign. Then out of the blue - Jo rang and said she was by a swan who looked like she was in trouble. I couldn’t believe our luck - it was almost definitely our girl, and she’d got herself stuck in a low and narrow part of the towns river, with no room to take off. So we hastily planned a rescue - called for help and along came Dan and Harry who brilliantly and very gently caught her - wrapped her in a towel (closest thing I had to hand!), and transported her back to our lake where she was reunited with her very relieved mate. It was a special moment to see them back together again, and watch them doing their little head bobs at each other. I went back up later to feed them - and she was ravenous, bless her. So her hubby watched over while she had a good feed, and then he had his dinner. He was unusually talkative to me - throwing his head back, honking and then bowing it and giving a deep purr at the end. It was either a thank you, of he was ticking me off for man-handling his Mrs! Either way it was adorable, and she is safely back where she belongs and hopefully a tad the wiser. And totally unharmed!

💔💔COBB COUNTY, GA💔💔💔 FROM FB: Today, while volunteering at the shelter and walking my row of dogs, I noticed a different dog in another row sitting quietly in the corner of her kennel… shaking and trying to make herself as small as possible. I looked at her kennel card and learned her name was Hazel and she had just been surrendered yesterday . 😭💔 I decided to go sit with her, hoping I could make her day just a little bit better. Little did I know… she would be the one making mine.🥹 Hazel was terrified and unsure of everyone around her. But little by little, she found the courage to take one step… then another… until she came over, kissed my face, and reminded me just how sweet she truly is. I later learned that Hazel was surrendered because the family cat repeatedly attacked her. 🥺 And through no fault of her own, she lost the only home she knew. Hazel is only 2 years old. 💔💔COBB COUNTY, GA💔💔💔 FROM FB: Today, while volunteering at the shelter and walking my row of dogs, I noticed a different dog in another row sitting quietly in the corner of her kennel… shaking and trying to make herself as small as possible. I looked at her kennel card and learned her name was Hazel and she had just been surrendered yesterday . 😭💔 I decided to go sit with her, hoping I could make her day just a little bit better. Little did I know… she would be the one making mine.🥹 Hazel was terrified and unsure of everyone around her. But little by little, she found the courage to take one step… then another… until she came over, kissed my face, and reminded me just how sweet she truly is. I later learned that Hazel was surrendered because the family cat repeatedly attacked her. 🥺 And through no fault of her own, she lost the only home she knew. Hazel is only 2 years old. Janet’s story brings tears to our hearts… ❤️ I don’t like dwelling on painful memories, but I cannot ignore the grace of God in her life. A little girl who lost her parents at such a young age, left in a place where many had already given up on her future… but God had a different plan. When we brought her from Nzeluni Village in Mwingi, Kitui and came into our lives at just three years old, we embraced her fully as our own daughter. She was never just a child in need she was a seed of greatness, waiting for love, care, and a chance. We walked this journey together from Baraka Primary School, to Arya Girls High School, and later Daystar University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Logistics and Procurement. She went on to build her career at Diamond Trust Bank under DTIA. We raised her, we walked with her, and we prayed for her and today, we stand amazed, truly astonished by what God has done. Seeing Janet get engaged to her fiancé Elvis is not just a celebration, it is a testimony.
