My mom passed peacefully at 1:11pm two days ago, surrounded by her three little birds, my sister, my brother, and me, holding her hand and stroking her head as we sang to her. The song Three Little Birds came on at just the right moment, like it was meant for her. And it was. She took her final breaths wrapped in our love, with music, light, and presence guiding her home. She was the brightest soul Iโ€™ve ever known. A radiant artist. A lover of dance, beauty, color, and connection. She saw magic in people, even those sheโ€™d never met, and bridged the gap between hearts without hesitation. She made everyone feel seen. She brought joy everywhere she went. She taught me how to notice life, how to play, how to trust the light within me. If youโ€™ve ever been touched by my love or joy, it was seeded by her. After she passed, we stayed with her. We thanked her spirit, and we thanked her body for holding so much love, for creating us, for doing its job beautifully despite everything. And as we left the room, we did what she would have loved most: we clapped and cheered for her. Because she deserved a standing ovation. I told her Iโ€™d see her in every rainbow. In every 11:11. In laughter. In applause. In astronauts. Even if sheโ€™d lived 30 more years, it wouldnโ€™t have been enough. Two hundred wouldnโ€™t have been enough. Infinity wouldnโ€™t have been enough. Thatโ€™s how special she is. Iโ€™m so grateful I got to walk this life so closely beside her. I love you, Mom. Always. Her light doesnโ€™t end with her physical passing. May it move like a supernova, radiating outward, expanding through all of us, and igniting everyone it touches with warmth, beauty, and joy.

๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”COBB COUNTY, GA๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” FROM FB: Today, while volunteering at the shelter and walking my row of dogs, I noticed a different dog in another row sitting quietly in the corner of her kennelโ€ฆ shaking and trying to make herself as small as possible. I looked at her kennel card and learned her name was Hazel and she had just been surrendered yesterday . ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ’” I decided to go sit with her, hoping I could make her day just a little bit better. Little did I knowโ€ฆ she would be the one making mine.๐Ÿฅน Hazel was terrified and unsure of everyone around her. But little by little, she found the courage to take one stepโ€ฆ then anotherโ€ฆ until she came over, kissed my face, and reminded me just how sweet she truly is. I later learned that Hazel was surrendered because the family cat repeatedly attacked her. ๐Ÿฅบ And through no fault of her own, she lost the only home she knew. Hazel is only 2 years old. Sheโ€™s dog-friendly, good with kids, housebroken, and crate-trained. She has so much love to give, yet tonight sheโ€™s sleeping in a shelter kennel instead of a home. I spent a long time with her today, holding her close and reminding her that she is a good girlโ€ฆ that she is loved, that she is seen, and that someone still cares about her. Before I closed her kennel door, I made Hazel a promise.. I promised her I would share her story with the world. And I told her that I have an incredible village of people who always show up when a dog needs them most. Now Iโ€™m asking that village for one more favor. Please help me keep my promise to Hazel. ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜ญ Share her story. Tell your friends and family about her. If youโ€™ve been thinking about adopting, fostering, or rescuing, please consider giving Hazel the forever home she deserves. Letโ€™s show Hazel that yesterday wasnโ€™t the end of her storyโ€ฆ it was the beginning of a beautiful new chapter. โค๏ธ Hazel is up for adoption at : ๐Ÿ“Cobb County Animal Services in Marietta, GA. ID: (20451) Kennel : (30) โ˜Ž๏ธ (770) 499-4136

Janetโ€™s story brings tears to our heartsโ€ฆ โค๏ธ I donโ€™t like dwelling on painful memories, but I cannot ignore the grace of God in her life. A little girl who lost her parents at such a young age, left in a place where many had already given up on her futureโ€ฆ but God had a different plan. When we brought her from Nzeluni Village in Mwingi, Kitui and came into our lives at just three years old, we embraced her fully as our own daughter. She was never just a child in need she was a seed of greatness, waiting for love, care, and a chance. We walked this journey together from Baraka Primary School, to Arya Girls High School, and later Daystar University, where she graduated with a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Logistics and Procurement. She went on to build her career at Diamond Trust Bank under DTIA. We raised her, we walked with her, and we prayed for her and today, we stand amazed, truly astonished by what God has done. Seeing Janet get engaged to her fiancรฉ Elvis is not just a celebration, it is a testimony. A testimony that pain is not the end, that rejection is not the final word, and that where the world sees nothing, God sees everything. My loving daughter Janet, your life is a miracle. Your journey reminds us that God lifts, restores, and completes what He starts. From tears to joyโ€ฆ from loss to loveโ€ฆ from uncertainty to a beautiful and blessed future. As you leave our home, the only home you have known since childhood to begin this new chapter, may your new home be filled with deep love, peace, laughter, and Godโ€™s endless favor. You truly deserve every bit of this happiness. Congratulations, Janetโ€ฆ this is not just an engagement this is a victory. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™
