One of the only Scotland games I’ve ever been to. Unreal atmosphere, part of that run (including the Paris win) where we got within a bawhair of qualifying from the toughest group in the history of the universe.

That was the first Scotland game I ever went to. Managed to go 36 years without attending a Scotland game but @andyg831977 made me go.

Remember it well. Train from Central broke down at Pollockshaws East at 1435 😱 Had to run from there to Hampden for 1500 KO (having had 5 pints 🤢) Got in just in time to see Miller goal. Sweating like Niagra Falls & chest on fire - great day 🤣

Many who were at the ground that day say Mesut Özil’s goal was the loudest they have heard a football stadium. This was a symbolic game for Liverpool, as they would sign Virgil van Dijk a few days later, who transformed the fortunes of the club.
