Surveillance footage showed Jacob luring the girl into his shop, where she was found 12 hours later in a hidden trapdoor. The girl, who was unharmed but traumatized, told rescuers she had been abused Jacob, who had a criminal history including kidnapping, femicide, & drug trafficking, was released from house arrest in January. The mob attacked him after police rescued the girl, leading to his death.
