Options in front of Annamalai! Option 1 - Staying with BJP! Annamalai could stay with BJP, become the star campaigner + seat-sharing negotiator for NDA, and push hard to bag seats worthy of the 11.24% he earned in 2024. If the alliance is victorious and a coalition government is formed in 2026, I wouldn’t be surprised if Annamalai lands a bigger role within the party, possibly regional or even national. But this is highly unlikely to happen. Option 2 - Launching his own Tamil Nadu based political party! Annamalai also has the option of launching his own party and testing his strength in 2026 (my assessment: around 6% – 8%). He could even manage a few MLAs, and in a hung assembly, play kingmaker. By 2029, his party could align with BJP again and back PM Modi’s quest for a fourth term. Option 3 - Quitting politics! Annamalai also has the option of stepping away from politics altogether, choosing a peaceful life with his family. If the betrayal and backstabbing in Dravidian politics clash with his values, he could focus on his passions - organic farming and cattle rearing. Having said the above, as far as I know from observing and interacting with him, Annamalai is neither someone who likes to be in a relegated position within the party nor a quitter. Gurumurthy bats for BJP more than Annamalai because Annamalai was faster than BJP - You kidding me? Everyone knows BJP is not a sprinter, but a marathon runner. That is how the party has been able to conquer multiple terrains. Was Annamalai a sprinter? I don't think so. When Annamalai became the BJP State President in 2021, he claimed the political game is between DMK and BJP. What I gather from Annamalai is that he wanted 10 years to build BJP in TN and subsequently capture power. Annamalai wanted time to build his party. The party HQ, which initially agreed, had to take a different call. Why do I believe that Annamalai is a Godsend! I don't defend anyone blindly. I have my logic which I share in public. Sharing my views on Annamalai's recent political actions which I believe have a deep understanding of the actual problem! Please read on! Annamalai - An empathetic leader we rarely see today! Those who ridicule Annamalai’s recent actions should understand that he has genuine concern for the issue and wants to draw people’s attention. Annamalai has shared his experience of dealing with a rape cum murder case during his IPS days when he wasn’t even sure if he would enter politics – please watch the clip! Annamalai just used a diamond to cut another! In a world driven by sensationalism and TRP ratings, it is the sheer intellect of a leader to exploit the same method to get people's attention and create awareness of the imminent danger to women's safety in Tamil Nadu. You may want to call it a stunt, but this stunt has created awareness about a college student's safety. Annamalai supporters should realize they are actually bringing disrepute to Annamalai himself! In this clip, Savukku Shankar Savukku Shankar claims the below-the-belt post, (that led to the expulsion of Johny Bhai(அண்ணாமலையின் வார் ரூம்)🇮🇳) was uploaded with the tacit approval and blessings of Annamalai. As someone who has interacted with Annamalai and knows him well, I don’t believe he would stoop to such abysmal levels or play petty politics as alleged by Shankar. K.Annamalai The foolish actions of Annamalai supporters, driven by sheer emotional instability and low EQ, made the blame to fall directly on Annamalai. Whom should we hold responsible now? Even if provoked by the opposite camp, supporters should stay resilient, remain calm, and write positively about Annamalai, if you really admire and support him. This is exactly what I have done in the past and continue to do. I sincerely urge Annamalai supporters, especially those who consider themselves to be supreme social media influencers, to work positively towards ensuring Annamalai becomes an MLA in 2026. For a politician, electoral victory should be the only goal. Annamalai has lost twice already; he cannot afford another defeat, as it would end his political career. Lastly, BJP is one of the world’s largest and strongest political parties, backed by the century-old ideological foundation of the RSS with a long-term nationalist vision. Tamil Nadu should consider itself lucky to get a political leader like Annamalai! A Man, that too, the State President of a National Party, punishing himself for the inefficiency of the ruling government is such a shame for the government. It shows how pathetic the administration is. During the olden days, this was called “Mannar Neethi” It is absolutely painful to watch Annamalai going through this! But what is more important is the question Annamalai has asked! How did the FIR copy get leaked/released which has sensitive information about the assault, which further hurts the victim. Or is it a way to threaten future victims and stop them from coming out in the public? In any other developed country, there will be a strict gag order to protect the modesty of the victim in sexual assault cases. This is where the beauty of an educated politician such as Annamalai comes to light! There are further questions, Annamalai should pose to the systems Why hasn’t the Vice Chancellor of Anna University been sacked for the following crimes Not ensuring that the CCTVs worked! Letting a stranger and that too a habitual offender to enter the university premises without permission! Letting senior Professors sexually exploit students! Annamalai should work closely with the National Commission for Women (NCW) and take this as a suo moto case and ensure the justice is served! Every time the customer orders something and the delivery guy has to deliver it to their home. They call and complain that their driveway is private property and that they shouldn’t be using it even to deliver their mail or packages and pizza. This delivery man is fed up with the unreasonable complaints so if the homeowner doesn’t want him on the property, he is going to leave their packages on the curb on the public street from now on. Is he being reasonable or is he using malicious compliance in this case?

Why I feel Annamalai will not be replaced as TN State President! K.Annamalai There are rumors floating around that Annamalai is getting replaced. The entire BJP support system is in panic mode since yesterday raising its concerns. Here are my thoughts! Firstly, there is immense political equity built around ‘Brand Annamalai’ as BJP is invested big time in him. Otherwise, En Mann En Makkal would never have happened. Amit Shah inaugurated it and PM Modi concluded it. That is a HUGE acknowledgment of the kind of political dividends they expect from Annamalai in future. Secondly, PM Modi likes Annamalai as he compares Annamalai to himself. A young, bold and daring political personality. That is why, even when BJP did not win a single seat, PM Modi applauded Annamalai in the Parliament Central Hall, by saying, ‘BJP has grown in Tamil Nadu’. Amit Shah may have a differing opinion on Annamalai, but PM Modi’s word is FINAL. Annamalai has also become flexible and accommodative based on his recent interviews. Thirdly, Modi - Amit Shah duo knows that Annamalai has by far been the best state president in TN. He has single handedly transcended the party from NOTA challenger to a game changer. They do understand and acknowledge Annamalai’s achievements that are unmatched as below! Annamalai single handedly achieved BJP’s growth of 207.1% in 5 years from 2019 to 2024. The highest by any party in this time frame! Annamalai made BJP contest in 19 seats. Highest ever! Annamalai made BJP get 12% votes. Highest ever! Annamalai made BJP get double digit votes. First time ever! Finally, Modi Amit Shah duo knows more than anyone that, for the above reasons, it will he sheer stupidity to replace Annamalai. Because 80% of BJP supporters in Tamil Nadu are Annamalai supporters and there is no BJP in Tamil Nadu without Annamalai. They know, if this happens, the incoming president will take BJP back to ‘I am going to scratch the surface’ scenario. Annamalai has a tremendous role to play in 2026 and I feel he will be left uninhibited! These are my thoughts! But if the opposite happens and if Annamalai is replaced, it will be political suicide for BJP and the party will get buried for good in Tamil Nadu. Jerome Powell’s Federal Reserve must be forced to conduct its meetings in public view. So much of why the Fed has gotten things wrong is because it has been immune from public debate and criticism. The reason Americans have been able to call out government when it goes wrong is because we can witness those proceedings. A natural precondition of our First Amendment right to petition our government is to know what our government is actually doing. That is exactly what we are now seeking in federal court through our lawsuit, Azoria v. Powell. Great chatting with Matt Gaetz this evening
