GPT-6 Astra has shattered all priors with AI game creation Introducing Astral War, built in a day with GPT-6 Astra Ultra (fast mode) Astral War is a browser-based, CoD World at War inspired Three.js + MeshyAI + ElevenLabs remix (and massive upgrade) of Modern Claudefare - a game I built/released about a month ago via Opus 5 This model is a HUGE, step-function leap in visual fidelity, gameplay mechanics, and attention to detail - and the limits were much more generous compared to Fable 5.1. Sam Altman and the OpenAI Developers team cooked 🫡 Select features: - Play as the living or the undead - Solo or online multiplayer* with other players and bots - Collect perks as killstreaks - Controller support - Voice chat (on private lobbies) *Multiplayer has real authoritative game servers for online multiplayer, up to 12-person lobbies; first time trying this compared to Modern Claudefare/Der Koloss’ PeerJS implementation! Let’s see how it goes 🤗 Play at

Using MeshyAI alongside Blender with Codex/Astra for 3D game creation is such an unlock for higher-fidelity characters (the models aren't great at procedurally creating characters in my experience) My workflow starts by generating high-res image refs (in t-pose and nothing else in background) of target characters in Codex/GPT Image 2 (or finding some online) The model then handles image-to-3d via Meshy REST API, as well as rigging + animating the models and integrating them into target game (the latter piece is where frontier models really stand out) I always have the agent create a local studio page so I can view and interact with the generated models! Tl;dr: Bowser T-pose image → 4 Blender reference images → Meshy image-to-3D → Blender cleanup (3M → 35K triangles) → Meshy auto-rigging → walk/run animations → interactive Three.js viewer

Crazy experience hooking my laptop up to my tv via HDMI and playing a browser-based Three.js game made with AI in a few days with my wireless PS5 controller... Imagine if you can dream up any map on zombies (or any game/world) and play split screen with your friends from your couch using controllers on a Three.js game that runs in the browser… a little input lag on controller movement, but exciting to see where this space can go!
