From Sunday 7 December, on-the-day rail fares in Greater Manchester are getting simpler: ✔️ Just two options – anytime or off-peak ✔️ Single tickets = half the price of returns ✔️ Valid across all operators This is a key step toward contactless payments and bringing the first rail lines into the #BeeNetwork in Dec 2026... all part of a plan to make our trains, buses, trams and active travel truly connected.

Meet Harvey, a 19-year-old apprentice who has been building #BeeNetwork buses in Rochdale. These smaller buses are essential for people getting around, especially on local estates where bigger buses sometimes can't reach. This week, a new Greater Manchester Strategy was launched, setting out a vision for the next decade to create a thriving city region where everyone can live a good life.
