David Stone is my early DT #1, but Ahmad Moten from Miami is right there really close behind him for me. This guy is super explosive off the snap, had 4.5 sacks in 2025, and also had a 74.3 run defense grade.

Another one of the guys I am going to go ahead and move from my 2028 rankings into the 2027 class is Notre Dame safety Tae Johnson. Just now entering his redshirt sophomore year, but this looks like a first round safety. 84.0 coverage grade in 2025, 48 tackles and 4 interceptions, and just a 3.8% missed tackle rate last year.
