Strange sighting from my helicopter while traveling back from Skinwalker Ranch… There is a very remote hidden lake in the High Uintahs with reports of a prehistoric lake creature that survived. When I was first told of this place years ago, it was with a story that the Native Americans referred to the location as “Dinosaur Lake”. On our first pass flying over the lake it was absolutely still…but on our second pass, we were totally caught off guard by huge sudden movement in the lake and a fast moving trail in its wake. Upon turning the helicopter around, we saw another movement & trailing wake on the other side of the lake - it appears there were potentially two of “them”. My brother & pilot Cameron Fugal and I remained intrigued. Here’s the video:

RIP Robert Duvall. A truly great actor. My favorite Robert Duvall role was in Days of Thunder with Tom Cruise as Harry Hogge, Cole Trickle’s crew chief. Classic. Cruise & Duvall made that movie great. Far better than F-1 because it had heart…plus badass Michael Rooker as Rowdy.

Survey work & testing continues today at Skinwalker Ranch, including 2x monuments at the triangle, mounted in concrete x’s oriented to Magnetic North (not true north & 100 meters apart along a 180 degree due south) bearing. Thanks to Pete Kelsey, Erik Bard & Thomas Winterton for coordinating.
