This is ridiculous. People talk a lot of crap about Colapinto, but his reaction time probably saved Liam’s life here.

I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure we are seeing the ring of 10 engines gimbal outward about halfway through this video

Honestly this is a HUGE surprise....Booster 12 has been lowered back onto the launch mount! You can tell a lot more finesse is required to get it into the correct position when the stabilizer pins on the OLM aren't present. 🎥:Avid Space ✂️:Geoff A

Wow, this might be the first full speed retraction test of the hold down clamps, booster QD's and the ship QD arm in the top right corner. The initial speed of that QD arm is impressive. May have to do some comparisons with Pad 1 system later. 🎥: NSF - NASASpaceflight.com

Meanwhile...Back at Starbase I believe this is the first time we have seen a full speed test of the Shortened Chopsticks. A lot less bounce at the end compared to the original chops! 🎥: NSF - NASASpaceflight.com

And with that, SpaceX has officially broken ground on the Flame Trench for Pad A! If they follow a similar pace as Pab B construction, the launch mount sections should begin arriving in 5 to 6 months (although I suspect it will be much sooner) and another 5 months before its finally installed. 🎥: NSF - NASASpaceflight.com

After nine long months of testing, the B18.1 Booster test article is finally being removed from the Super Crusher. Over the course of that campaign, it completed 16 cryogenic pressure tests — making it the most extensive structural qualification program we’ve seen to date, by a significant margin (followed closely by B18.3 and S39.1) To me, that level of rigor reflects more than just the technological leap between V2 and V3. It also signals a broader shift in testing philosophy in the Starship program. The changes made to Super Heavy introduce significant risk throughout every stage of pre-flight testing. Its almost equivalent to the extreme uncertainty during the Booster 7 testing campaign. With that in mind, it’s reassuring to see that those risks are being addressed with this level of discipline. 🎥: Avid Space

The first static fire test of a flight proven Superheavy booster! We should see the ship as well soon once engine installation is completed.

New Fire Suppression System Dramatically Increases Superheavy's Performance! While the 2nd Integrated Test Flight of Starship ultimately ended in the loss of both vehicles, it was undoubtably a massive improvement from SpaceX's first attempt. This episode is a deep dive analysis of critical upgrades to Starship Superheavy. Disclaimer: There is a very large focus placed on Booster 7 in this episode. There were a lot of lessons learned from IFT-1 and its important to understand why each of the changes to Booster 9 were necessary. Hopefully this will help make sense out of a lot of the items listed in the 63 Corrective Actions from the FAA shared by Elon Musk a few months ago. If you enjoy this then please share it!
