Caleb Williams on his focus and mistakes from Today: “I felt like I was pretty on Today. We had one or two batted balls, and then I had the wrong incompletion on purpose just because the linebacker got up under it. It's a thing you can control. There are so many details within each play, and each play needs 100% of your focus. If you go 99%, or one of your teammates goes 99% while everybody else gives 100%, it comes down to everybody doing their 1/11th on the field. It's just getting back into the flow of playing a game, so we'll go look at the tape and figure it out." Mistakes happen, it’s about how you pivot.

Ben Johnson on managing Dexter Lawrence during the Joint Practice: "It was up and down throughout. I think he's a menace. He's an issue. That's been the case for a number of years, I remember being in a joint practice setting with him a couple years ago and he wrecks practice. That's what he does. I will say I was proud of the way that Garrett competed and he did some good things against him. When you face a player like that and you know you're going to a game, you certainly do need to make sure you limit the number of times anybody has a one-on-one with him because he's a special individual." Caleb Williams on going up against Dexter Lawrence Today: "He's an All-Pro guy, one of the best D-tackles up there with Chris Jones. He's a force to be reckoned with that you plan for during a game week to execute against his style, scheme, and body type. In joint practice, you aren't necessarily scheming players fully, you're going out there to execute plays without calling things that won't work against their defensive coordinator. That's something we'll do throughout the weeks and execute." Iron sharpens iron.

Caleb Williams on supporting Coby Bryant through his injury: "I'm not the best with all of that because if anything ever happened to me, I don't know how I'd feel. I don't really want people coming up trying to feel sorry for me, so I've gone up to him, dapped him up, and just kind of been stoic about it, asking him how he's doing, but nothing too deep. We've texted back and forth a few times, just letting him know I'm going to be here, we're going to get this thing going, and when you come back, we'll be rolling just in time for you."
