This was one of the saddest deaths of the wire. Killed by his own friends in his own home. What makes this death unimaginably heart wrenching is how Wallace was the primary caregiver and role model for all the kids in the house. To face such an unceremonious and pointless death after sacrificing for the betterment of those young kids' future really sucks. He was the only hope for those babies. Bodie acts all hard and down but can’t do it so he starts insulting Wallace. As if he’s trying to convince himself that he hates Wallace in order to go through with it, and in the end he can’t. He shot Wallace and froze. Poot returns his gun and then he stormed out, due to not being able to cope with the scene, leaving Poot. Poot takes his time going into the building, knowing every extra step he takes is another extra second in Wallace's life. Almost as if it won’t happen if he doesnt go up the stairs. And then after, when he enters the room, he just want it over as fast as possible, insisting Bodie does it already. He treated it like hard work and finished off Wallace for Bodie in order to not just stop Wallace's pain, but his own, and even Bodie's. Then he's left there alone, he doesnt rush out like Bodie, cause to him, it's all over now. The way i see it, Bodie was telling Wallace to stand up and be a man so he could see him as being part of the game and not his friend. Makes it easier to kill him based on that but Wallace being scared and pulling on friendship made it more difficult.🎬🍿

The bigger the lie, the more they believe", perfect intro for the theme of season 5 with McNulty and Scott making up shit out of thin air. Snoop sealed her fate when she told him not to bring his gun. That was suspect and ultimately got her killed. I respect Snoop. When Michael pulled the gun at her she wasnt scared at all, she was actually impressed. She knew her time was up and accepted her fate. You could tell Chris was the brains between him and snoop. She dug her own grave. I think the thing that irked Snoop the most is that Michael was regularly able to see through Marlo and his crew's bulls**t. He wasn't blindly loyal. Fun fact: when Omar asked the guy what he's in for and the guy says he's here on a 22-55, the guy was actually in prison for real at the time and he was actually waiting on a 22-55 hearing and he agreed to do the show.. Another fun fact is that guys name is Donnie Andrews and he is the actual man that the Omar Little character was based on.. Just a couple more reasons why the wire is best show of all time. D was a body Avon wasnt ready to take even tho he was a liability, so "I killed your nephew" was more like i killed a nigga that you couldnt kill even tho you knew you had to. Stringer's ego was so wild he immediately focused on "not hard enough" and immediately dismissed the idea that he's not smart enough for the real businessmen. To see a man ask his former adversary for permission to raise his child so that he can give him a better life is so profound and beautiful. I love how Bey's body language when Colvin says he wasn't made for the corners. Wee-Bey breaks eye contact and pulls back. It cuts him deep, since he knows its true. To hear another in the game see it too, is hard, but Bey accepts it. If only more kids in these circumstances were given this opportunity. Wee Beys humanity shines through in this scene. I love the way Slim Charles looks at Cheese after Marlo picks him to be in charge. He basically connected all the dots at that moment. The irony about this is that as soon as Marlo is in jail, the co-op comes right back. And instead of having one guy in charge of the connect, they show Vondas meeting with three people from the co-op in the last episode because it's best not to have one guy monopolize it. The co-op is the only example of real lasting institutional change on The Wire and I believe a lot of people overlook that because the message that "the game is the game" gets drilled into you over the whole show. The fact is most drug dealers know that death and jail are the only end games to what they do. Stringer thought he was smarter than the rest and could actually make his story end differently. Notice how he refers the other guys being stuck in the game as if the same rules don't apply to him. Stringer thinking he was above the game is what caused him to make some of the moves he made and break the rules, which led to his demise. If he didn't die who's to say he could've took them all out by himself. Omar was a different type of hunter. I just noticed Chris' face for the first time, It's a mixture of relief, unbelief and sadness. I think Omar was a worthy opponent for him. Damn, Slim was a stone killer but you can't help but like the guy because he lived by a code. Slim was one of the smartest characters on the show. He knew when to talk, and when not to. And when to act. Cheese had $900k because he stole all of Prop Joe's money after Marlo killed him. Slim Charles figured that out and that pissed him off even more. Cheese talked too much, basically said he only loyal to who feeding him at the time and will turn his back on anyone at any moment. then had the nerve to speak on his dead uncle with his dead uncle's right hand man standing next to him. he did it to himself. Honestly the most satisfying kill in the wire.🎬🍿

My favorite part about this scene is that Avon probably waited to see how Slim Charles would respond to String's demand. It's great the way Avon walks over to stand beside Slim, taking his side, and Stringer is left alone on the other side of the table, in his suit and tie, being scolded.
