Trump’s threats are escalating. Now there are reports he wants to go after Canadian water. We’ll happily send back their watery beer. Effective immediately, we are removing all American products from BC Liquor Store shelves.

The US cannot take Canada for granted. British Columbia is ready to do what it takes to stand up to bullies.

We didn’t ask for this fight, but we will win it. We will stand shoulder to shoulder, coast to coast, for this great country.

There is an old word to describe going to a foreign power and asking for their assistance in breaking up a sovereign country — it’s treason. Canadians are standing together in defence of this beautiful land. 🇨🇦

Today the federal government announced their measures to counter US economic attacks— a good start. Next, why are we spending $12 billion to buy American fighter jets?

As British Columbians we love our coast and will always protect it. The North Coast Tanker Ban also secures billions in shovel-ready projects. We won’t let this proposal, with no backer and no money, threaten real jobs for BC’s families.

If America thinks tariffs will crush the resolve of Canadians – they’re wrong. We will not roll over. BC is stepping up to do our part by: ❌ Pulling US liquor off shelves ❌ Excluding US products from government purchases

If you’re a developer who bet on the high end of the market and you’re facing a loss of profits: this program will not help you. We’re acquiring units below the cost of construction and making them available as rentals for British Columbians — with a path to home ownership.

Reconciliation strengthens BC’s economy and our communities. We reject racist, anti-indigenous rhetoric — and we’ll continue working in true partnership with First Nations to deliver jobs, certainty and prosperity for all British Columbians.

Let’s be clear about what Alberta is proposing: BC loses billions of dollars of major projects from private investors. AND Canadian taxpayers are forced to pay billions more because there is no interest from a private company. That’s not fair &amp; fairness is a Canadian value.

Our country is facing an existential moment. The only path forward for Canada — and British Columbia — is in true partnership with First Nations. Full stop.

We have a plan to stand on our own two feet, find new trade partners and protect this beautiful country.

British Columbians are seeing women’s rights under attack in the US and they are worried about Trump’s copycats here at home. So let me be clear: our government is expanding the scope of practice for midwives — including the ability to prescribe mifegymiso, the abortion pill.

The first policy of the new BC Conservative leader isn’t support for British Columbians, it’s finding ways to support Alberta’s separatist movement. That’s a choice.

To every Whitecaps fan in B.C. — I hear you, and I see your passion. We are fighting to keep the Whitecaps in Vancouver. The province is at the table, working to find a solution to keep our beloved club in Vancouver.

No matter what Trump’s ambassador says, Canadians aren’t “mean and nasty” for choosing to buy Canadian and travel locally. We’re taking a stand against Trump’s threats to our sovereignty and standing on our own two feet. Let's hold the line.
