DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin: “One thing that I love about numbers, and I love about facts, is they don’t lie.” He claimed 14,576 noncitizens were registered to vote in Pennsylvania. Governor Shapiro’s response: “If you have any real evidence of this, provide it to us.” He added that Pennsylvania takes every claim of illegal voting seriously and refers credible leads straight to prosecutors — DHS just needed to show its work. They never did. A month later, Pennsylvania’s Secretary of State Al Schmidt says DHS still hasn’t handed over the methodology or data behind that number. Schmidt also pointed out DHS’s own SAVE database has a long history of misidentifying naturalized U.S. citizens as noncitizens — it’s the same flawed system behind these claims in every state. And in a closed-door meeting on August 13, DHS’s own staff admitted to Pennsylvania officials they did not have “high confidence” that those 14,576 people were noncitizens improperly registered at all. An ICE officer replied to a Craigslist ad for a 13-year-old. Over three days, he texted her about sex acts, what he’d pay, and his job — “a cop.” He drove to a hotel in Othello, WA to meet her, carrying his ICE badge, two bottles of Viagra, and $4,075 in cash. It was a sting. Koby Don Williams was arrested on the spot. At trial, he argued two contradictory defenses — that he didn’t think she was a minor, and that he was there to “rescue” her. An ICE agent scanned the wrong license plate, chased the wrong man, and ended up shooting Julio Sosa-Celis through his own front door. DHS’s first story: Sosa-Celis attacked agents with a broom and snow shovel. City surveillance video proved that was false — the whole struggle lasted about 12 seconds. DHS admitted its agents gave “untruthful” sworn testimony. Charges against Sosa-Celis were dropped with prejudice. The agent, Christian Castro, is now charged with 4 counts of assault + falsely reporting a crime. He fled to Texas. Greg Abbott is refusing to extradite him. Minnesota’s AG just sued Abbott to force it. A Republican governor is actively shielding a federal agent from facing trial for shooting an innocent man and lying about it under oath. Texas, you have a job to do in November. And then justice can finally be delivered.

The Pentagon secretly put three MAGA influencers on the government payroll. Retired Air Force Col. Rob Maness (135K followers), retired Army Col. Kurt Schlichter (620K followers), and retired Army Col. Thomas Anderson, who writes as “Cynical Publius” (320K followers), all had active .civ government email addresses assigned to the office of Anthony Tata, undersecretary of defense for personnel and readiness — running PR for Hegseth and going after his critics, none of it disclosed to their audiences. Now he’s inside the Pentagon on an undisclosed assignment, amplifying Hegseth’s message. And remember, retirement doesn’t erase accountability — this April, this same Pentagon invoked UCMJ Article 133/134 against retired Navy officer Sen. Mark Kelly for criticizing Trump. Same uniform, same rules, opposite treatment: retired officers get threatened with court-martial for criticizing this administration, and quietly put on the payroll for cheerleading it. Those three retired officers will be disciplined after Hegseth is impeached. And this time it will be the legit. Hope going against your oath was worth it.

He knew. He said so. He voted for it anyway. Tommy Tuberville, now the frontrunner for Alabama governor, privately told the Washington Examiner back in mid-2025 that the House’s SNAP provision would “financially hammer” red states like Alabama — his exact words were “just don’t bankrupt us.” Weeks later he voted YES on the Big Beautiful Bill anyway, then put out a statement calling it the road to a “Great” America. Ever since, he and his fellow Republicans, have spent a year blaming SNAP “fraud” for a mess their own votes helped create. Here’s the receipt on that “fraud” claim: Alabama’s own DHR Commissioner, Nancy Buckner, said it herself — error rates aren’t fraud, fraud is a tiny sliver of it. Michael Ledger, CEO of Feeding the Gulf Coast, backed that up too, telling that fraud only runs “1 percent to 2 percent” of what’s actually being penalized here. So the “SNAP is overrun with fraud” line Tuberville’s been running for over a year doesn’t hold up against the numbers his own state is working with. What it actually means for Alabama: a 9.52% payment error rate puts the state in the 10% cost-share bracket, which comes out to roughly $174 million state lawmakers have to find in the FY2027 budget. If they can’t or won’t find it, the options on the table are cutting people off SNAP or dropping the program entirely — real consequences for a program error rate that has nothing to do with fraud. Tuberville’s team is now quietly working with the state agency to bring that error rate down before the bill comes due, and lobbying alongside Katie Britt for a two-year delay. None of this is happening to Alabama. Tuberville voted for it, knowing what it would do, then spent a year pointing at “fraud” instead of his own vote. Now he’s the frontrunner for governor, running to fix a hole in the state budget that he dug himself.

Border Patrol pulls over a 20-year-old in Slidell, LA for “white lights on the back of your vehicle… your reverse lights are on the whole time.” Then, before writing a single ticket, the agent asks: “What’s your citizenship?” The driver, Alan Laureano, was born in Slidell. His passenger — his 13-year-old stepbrother — was born in Pearl River, Louisiana. Both are U.S. citizens. Didn’t matter. Twice, on camera, the agent tells Laureano he’s going to “check” the kid and “if he’s illegal, I will take him.” He tries to open the 13-year-old’s car door himself. Laureano locks it and rolls the window down instead. The agent then interrogates the child directly — full name, spelling, date of birth, birthplace — while Laureano stands his ground and refuses to hand over his own ID, telling the agent he doesn’t have the right to stop him over a taillight. Immigration attorney Michael Gahagan reviewed the video and called it what it is: “an illegal detention.” Border Patrol isn’t authorized to detain someone over a traffic violation — they need independent reasonable suspicion of an immigration violation, and that has to come first, not get invented after the stop. DHS’s after-the-fact statement claims the stop was based on “reasonable suspicion or probable cause of federal law violations” — but doesn’t say what that violation was. WWL Louisiana asked twice. No answer either time. This is the pattern: pretext stop, pivot to citizenship, threaten a kid with removal before confirming anything. It only looks “routine” until you’re the one being asked to prove you belong in the country you were born in.

The response was always the same: “Just get the paperwork.” Well, Florida is showing us what “just get the paperwork” actually looks like. A Florida woman and Army veteran found that out when she ran into problems getting a REAL ID because she couldn’t produce a marriage record from 50 years ago to connect her name history. Think about that. A citizen and Army veteran stuck because one old document was missing. Now expand that across the country. Millions upon millions of Americans have identity histories that don’t fit into one perfect government record. Marriage, adoption, divorce, immigration, court-ordered name changes, and simple clerical errors all create gaps. The SAVE Act would add more opportunities for those gaps to become barriers. As is being proven in Florida. Republicans have been lying to you.

Police were called to Samuel Saxon’s home 23 times in eighteen months for domestic violence. He kept his badge the whole time. An ICE assistant field office director in Cincinnati, Saxon had been abusing his partner for at least eight years — strangling her repeatedly, breaking her nose, and breaking her pelvis so badly it needed surgery. On December 5, 2025, a witness watched him drag her into their apartment in a chokehold and heard her screaming. Police found bruises across her chest. Investigators then caught him lying about it to a federal agent — he claimed he’d only spoken to her by phone that day. A witness’s video proved otherwise.
