The UK Met Office has again been caught publishing temperatures from weather stations that don't exist. An FOI revealed Lowestoft closed in 2010, yet the Met Office kept issuing official temperatures for it. The office said they were using "well-correlated" neighboring stations, but the FOI revealed that this was a lie. The numbers were actually coming from a model that was inventing data from 'phantom' neighboring stations. When exposed, they quietly deleted years of readings for Lowestoft, as well as a number of other stations, and added a disclaimer saying their data is "for general interest only." FOIs also show over one third of Met Office stations never existed, and that real high-quality sites like Colwood are ignored. Also, more than 80% of the network is low-grade class 4 or 5, by WMO standards giving 2-5C uncertainty. This is the foundation of the UK's climate record – closed stations, imaginary stations and synthetic temperatures. The Met Office isn't credible.

Sunlight at Earth's surface has surged since the 1980s. Germany's Potsdam station shows 15 more W/m² of solar energy reaching the ground than during the 1970s dimming era. The Netherlands, Switzerland and Japan all show the same trend. Austria shows even more: 23 extra W/m². It's called 'global brightening.' As air pollution dropped, the atmosphere cleared and sunlight flooded back in. That increase in surface radiation is 10 times larger than the forcing from CO2 over the same period. In short: the air got cleaner, the sunlight stronger and the land a little warmer. The data say so, the physics say so, it's only the narrative that doesn't.

An estimated 40 million tons of wind turbine blades will end up in landfills by 2050. Each modern blade weighs around 10 to 15 tons--mostly fiberglass and epoxy composites with 1 to 2 tons of carbon fiber, balsa and foam, plus roughly a ton of steel and copper for structural support and lightning protection. All mined, smelted and transported using fossil fuels. Then once they wear out, after just 15 years, those complex materials are almost impossible to recycle, so most are simply buried. It's another hidden cost of green energy and the complete opposite of sustainable.

Since April 2020, the United States has spent $1.5 trillion on wind and solar. All that money for just 17% of the nation's energy mix. For the same cost, America could have built around 40 nuclear power plants. They'd run for 80 years, not 15 or 20 like wind and solar, and would generate at least three times more power each year. That's the real cost of believing the climate fantasy: enormous waste, destabilized grids, and spiraling energy costs.

Back in 1948, Swedish glaciologist Hans Ahlmann documented warming temperatures and glacier retreat from the late 1800s to the 1940s. He called it "climatic improvement." Finland warmed 1.8 C in that period, and the growing season lengthened by up to three weeks. It was viewed as beneficial, not a crisis - a natural post-little ice age warming. In 1948, roughly 2 C of warming in 50 years was considered a "fluctuation" and an "improvement." In 2025, however, a 1 C warm up in 50 years is justification for economy-wide controls, speech restrictions and trillion-dollar climate industries. Ahlmann's work dismantles the modern narrative. The planet has warmed more naturally, even within living memory.

West Antarctica sits on top of a volcanic rift. Thwaites and Pine Island, Antarctica's two fastest thinning glaciers, sit directly above strong geothermal anomalies. The glaciers are being melted from below, not above, and atmospheric data backs this up. A recent study shows central west Antarctica has cooled around 1C per decade over the past 20 years. Bird Station, the only long-running record on the ice sheet, shows the trend. The surface is cooling, the base is heating, and melt is concentrated where the crust is hottest. Public messaging insists CO2 is melting Antarctica, but the air is cooling, with the only real melt restricted to the west, to regions sitting atop a hot volcanic rift.

The BBC says it will review its climate coverage, not because it suddenly found integrity, but because it got caught. A leaked letter from a former standards advisor accused executives of ignoring "widespread evidence of skewed reporting." The BBC has skewed the truth for years to push a political agenda. It claimed human CO2 made US heatwaves 35 times more likely. It said wildfires were exploding because of climate change. And it sold Net Zero as an economic miracle while hiding the costs. These are all falsehoods with the data, in many cases, showing the exact opposite. And when challenged, the BBC quietly edited, deleted or buried the evidence. Even the regulator Ofcom ordered entire climate programs be pulled for dishonesty. This isn't journalism, it's propaganda. But the public is cottoning on, and switching off. In the past two years alone, roughly a million UK households have stopped paying the BBC license fee.

Dr. Richard Lindzen, Professor Emeritus of Atmospheric Science at MIT, says global warming fear isn't driven by data, but by money and control. He recently told the Daily Mail that politicians saw 'climate policy' as a multi-trillion dollar opportunity to reshape industries, to push globalization. The public was fed panic over a minuscule temperature change that means almost nothing. Lindzen calculates that even a doubling of CO2 would warm the planet by only half a degree. He argues nature stabilizes, not amplifies, climate swings, and that today's warmth and CO2 levels actually help plants grow and expand farmland. "People are finally starting to question this," he said. "It'll be an embarrassment to our era."

The Dutch government is running TV ads asking citizens to limit their electricity usage between 4pm and 9pm because the grid might collapse. This is what happens when ideology replaces engineering. The Netherlands tore down its stable, gas-based system and replaced it with intermittent wind and solar that surge and fade with the weather. They provide no inertia, no stored energy and no steady baseline. And modern grids can't cope. Lines are overloaded. Companies can't connect. Homes and EV charges are being turned away. And operators are even shutting down wind farms to avoid surging blackouts. The cost to the Dutch economy is estimated to be 35 billion euros a year. And growing. The promise was clean, abundant power. The reality? One of Europe's richest nations is now effectively rationing electricity.

Better housing, trade and technology have made humanity safer than ever. Even global disaster costs are falling, now under 0.2% of world GDP, down from 0.3% in 1990. The data show humanity is thriving by historical comparison, yet activists insist on calling this an "emergency." But the real crisis isn't the climate, it's the trillion dollar policies built on false alarms.

Australia's Bureau of Meteorology has been audited station by station. The report reveals that the agency has systematically erased cooling trends from the historical record, replacing them with synthetic warming. At Rutherglen, Victoria for example, raw data from 1913 to 2006 showed a cooling trend. But the Bureau's adjusted chart flips this into warming. No physical justification, just statistical sleight of hand. Comparisons at Deniliquin also reveals the tactic - how past highs have been lowered to fit the narrative. Minimums from 1910 onward here are reduced by as much as 1.8C. These edits weren't based on new evidence. They were applied decades later by opaque homogenization models. The report's author calls it the rewriting of Australia's temperature history. But it's not just happening in Australia. Climate agencies in the UK and US have also cooled the past so as to exaggerate or even fabricate modern warming trends. This manipulated data is then paraded as truth by politicians and the media with the original measurements buried.

New research claims human emissions are not driving atmospheric CO2. A paper by Dai Ato ran multiple linear regressions for 1959 to 2022, testing two predictors of the annual CO2 increase: sea surface temperature and human emissions. The result was clear: when the oceans warmed, CO2 levels rose almost exactly in step - about two to three parts per million for every one degree Celsius of warming. Adding human emissions to the model didn't change the outcome. Using only ocean temperature, the model reproduced global CO2 levels with near-perfect accuracy - a correlation of 0.995 and an error of just one to two ppm by 2022. The main factor governing the annual increase in atmospheric CO2 concentration is sea surface temperature rather than human emissions. Earlier studies have shown the same pattern. Temperature changes first, CO2 follows. If Ato is correct, cutting human emissions won't lower atmospheric CO2 because it's the oceans that set the pace.

New research says it isn't CO2 driving the climate, rather it's gradients and water vapor. A 2025 study in Frontiers argues the real thermostat is the vertical temperature gradient and the water cycle. Water vapor and clouds account for about 95% of the atmosphere's radiative effect. CO2 contributes roughly 4-5%, with only 4% of that human-made. Without the lapse rate, i.e. the steady cooling with altitude, extra CO2 would have no warming effect at all. On Earth, air cools about 6.5C per kilometer, and that gradient, not carbon, sets surface warmth. In their model, doubling CO2 adds at most 1.5C, or nothing. Moisture, clouds and natural dynamics run the climate. CO2 is just along for the ride.

In 1954, scientists told Congress the Arctic would melt within 25 to 50 years. Then 20 years later, in 1974, Time magazine warned we were heading for another ice age. By the 1990s, when that didn't happen, warming was the returning scare, with Norway's top expert saying the Arctic would be ice-free by 2007. The Centre for Biological Diversity said it would be ice-free by 2012. The BBC said by 2013. Needless to say, they were all wrong. The Arctic sea ice minimum has actually been stable for the past 18 years now. In 2008, NASA's James Hansen predicted lower Manhattan would be underwater by 2018 due to the burning of fossil fuels. Back in 1923, scientists claimed Glacier National Park would melt by 1950. Then in 2006, Al Gore said it would be gone by 2020. Yet today, the glaciers are still there, about the same size they were 35 years ago. Decade after decade, the doomsday dates change. But the climate alarmist script persists.

The Central England temperature record contains a big problem for the CO2 narrative. From 1695 to 1735, Britain warmed by about 2C as it emerged from the Little Ice Age. During that warming though, atmospheric CO2 remained almost flat. Fast forward to today, Britain is shown to have warmed about 1.5C since the 1980s--so over a similar time period. Activists insist today's 1.5C of warming must be human-driven. But the historical record shows the climate warmed more, naturally. If CO2 wasn't the driver back then, why must it be the driver now?

China emits as much CO2 in 16 days as Canada emits in an entire year. Australia's annual total takes China just 12 days to emit. Britain's takes barely 9 days. Combined, Canada, Australia and the UK emit about 1.23 billion tonnes a year. China emits that much in roughly 37 days. So, even if all three countries eliminated every tonne of CO2--closing every factory, power station and banning every gas vehicle--China would replace the entire annual reduction in little more than five weeks. Yet, Western governments are deliberately making energy scarcer and more expensive, by dismantling dependable sources, restricting oil and gas exploration and loading industry with carbon taxes and net zero mandates. Steel, chemicals, fertilizers, refining and manufacturing are driven overseas -- often to countries burning more coal. So the emissions do not disappear. Only the jobs, tax revenues and energy security do. The West impoverishes itself. China profits.

Europe's official grid authority has released its report on the nationwide blackout that hit Spain last year. And while the report treads carefully politically, its data make the cause clear. Wind and solar triggered the collapse. Within the first 80 seconds, Spain lost 2.5 GW of generation, around 10% of its national supply, with every MW of that early loss coming from renewables. Gas and hydro remained stable until the cascade was already underway. The report calls it an unprecedented speed of blackout. This was a textbook inverter chain failure, with renewables dropping so fast that the grid's stabilizers never had time to react. By midday, Spain's grid had virtually no inertia, nothing spinning fast enough to hold frequency steady. But to admit that outright would mean questioning Europe's green transition itself, something the report appears unable to do. So the event is officially described as "a rare local disturbance," rather than what it actually was... A systemic failure of weather-dependent power.

To construct the base alone, a single small wind turbine requires the burning of 170 tons of coal just to make its steel components, namely the rebar. Then on top of that you have 140 cubic meters of concrete, this is just for the base remember, and of a small turbine. It ignores the hundreds of tons of fiberglass, aluminum and copper that go into the turbine itself. You also have to consider that the majority of turbines standing today will need replacing before 2050, with the majority of those materials including the concrete for the base almost impossible to reuse. As governments continue to chase Net Zero, millions of wind turbines will be built just to replace the ones we already have - tearing up land, burning coal and pouring billions of tons of concrete. This is far from clean energy. It's a dirty illusion.

Since the 1980s, the Sahara has shrunk by roughly 8%. Satellite data show widespread greening, a pattern that is playing out across the planet. Around 50% of Earth's vegetated land has become significantly greener, an area roughly three times the size of the United States. The dominant driver is not rainfall or land use change, it is rising atmospheric CO2. Higher CO2 lets plants photosynthesize more efficiently, they lose less water, they tolerate heat and dryness better. The effect is strongest along desert margins, across the Sahel, the Middle East, Australia's interior and the southern edge of the Sahara. Rising CO2 is making the deserts, and the planet as a whole, greener.

California's $2.2 billion solar plant is shutting down. Once hailed as a breakthrough, the Ivanpah Solar Facility in the Mojave Desert is now a case study in failed technology and environmental risk. Built with $1.6 billion in federal loans in 2014, the plant was hailed as a symbol of America's clean energy future. It used 173,000 mirrors to focus sunlight onto three massive towers heating fluid to drive steam turbines. Complicated. Expensive. And it never delivered on its promise. After just 11 years, the technology is now obsolete. On top of that, the facility became notorious for its environmental toll, with estimates of at least 6,000 birds incinerated each year by the concentrated beams. The promise was affordable, reliable, green power. The reality was high costs, technical failures and ecological damage.
