This got a lot more love than I expected, thank you. Here’s how it looks in a PS1 emulator (DuckStation). It’s easier to see how nicely the cat blends with the background and how the subtle fog makes it look even nicer. :)

Babe, wake up, Super Mario 64 on PS1 is now real. The port is being done by a mad genius Malucart who's been working on it for a while. A lot of the things are still WIP and a bit broken (good for creepypasta material though!), but overall it's an incredible work!

How is Ridge Racer Type 4 even real... 🥲 It pushes PS1 to its limits - the lighting, the textures, the specular reflections on the cars... it looks miles ahead of most of the games on the platform. The game's vibes, music and aesthetics are also incredible.

My game running on PS1, Sega Dreamcast and PC at the same time! The PC version is where it all began. First with OpenGL and then Vulkan version. This is the only version with dynamic shadows, btw. :D

Dreamcast is so powerful... It's not just an image on the screen. You can interact with the in-game PC with the Dreamcast mouse and keyboard. (I won't copy Win95 for the final look, want to design my own fake OS :D)

Yume Nikki PS is now 100% playable on PC. It feels so good in 60 FPS and still retains its PS1 charm. Will be even better when I add the 100% accurate PS1 dither. The only thing that remains is adding sound and some graphical effects (Silent Hill fog, proper shadows etc.). ☺️
