Stubble challenge. Taken all front tynes off Horsch Spinter and blocked 1/3 heads, sowing canola. Has made large improvement but not perfect. I’m very, very reluctant to burn 🔥. Moisture conservation is king.

It’s my 1st time applying talc to urea. I’m hoping it’s gunna be a game changer. I’ve heard good reports from those that have practiced this method for many years. 1kg per tonne @ $1.20 p/kg talc. Should be a good investment, will find out in a few weeks time 😊.

Fertiliser frustrations 🫠. Had to get guys from Wollongong (450klm) with pneumatic suction vibration devises to help dislodge MAP. It’s not damp, it just so full of fines that it’s set real hard in silo. You’ll see my homemade bracing to try prevent silo from collapsing.

Applying 1lt Revystar on 44Y94. Each year it’s difficult to know which fungicide to use. Different costs for length of protection. Prosaro at $9ha is a good option but I’m going for a 6 week protection since I pay a contractor with an SP to apply it. What’s your opinion on this🤔
