This may be the new Rocket Garden at Starbase, with a raised center structure, curving stairs up either side and perhaps space for Booster 12 & ship 20 displays. Looks to be nearing completion, perhaps by the end of August. If this is the new Rocket Garden, I hope it is open to the public.

We heard employees at Giga Texas were able to take Cybercab rides now … I’ve heard many viewers and posters ask if they are really doing this (despite months of me posting views of this happening leading up to the official announcement about a week ago). Check this out … a complete drive along the W side of Giga Texas, a stop and both doors open, employees get out, and then the Cybercab drives off on it’s own, executing a U-turn and then heading on its way! Really seems like they are doing Cybercab rides for employees to me!

The Optimus factory at Giga Texas is growing faster, now 10 column grids wide (~400 to 450 feet in length, N-S or ~130 to 140 m) and growing to the N and S every day. On the S end, land reclamation work continues too, with more fill dirt, Geotextile membranes & the silt fences have been relocated further S along with more tree and vegetation removal. The full extent of the site and ultimate length of the building continues to evolve!

The helicopters are flying from Starbase highway 4 beginning sweeps of the restricted areas to be sure the flight path is clear ahead of Starship flight 13 later today! So far, everything is looking good for the 5:45 PM CST launch (with a 90 minute window)!

Follow a newly built Cybercab exiting the Giga Texas factory for the first time & driving the full route (~1.5 miles or ~ 2.4 Km) over to the Supercharges near the EOL facility. This is the routing all Cybercabs take before final processing & then shipping off site. I saw more than 150 Cybercabs today driving or parked all over the Giga Texas site, including more drop ff testing near the factory, three large groups in the outbound lot, testing on the test track & coming off the highway frontage roads. Also, Cybercabs are accumulating in the “overflow” area south of the EOL facility for the first time I can recall. See some of the action with this clip!

It’s Cybercab Bonanza day at Giga Texas! Fresh off the posting yesterday showing Cybercabs autonomously driving out of the production like exit point and taking the ~2 mile trip to the W EOL and Tesla being granted a Level 4 Autonomous @Roxotabw service license in Texas, today we see a lot of Cybercabs on the move, with the hatch open showing the wheel covers prepped for shipping, ~ a dozen lined up at the factory exit point and much more! What is better than seeing a bunch of Cybercabs at Giga Texas? How about 10 driving on the Test Track in a large pack? I was just in time to capture this testing underway. To my knowledge this is the largest group of Cybercabs on the track at any given time so far! On the 1-year anniversary of the Tesla Robotaxi service going live, I think this is encouraging to see … I hope soon we see these out on the streets taking paying passengers, scaling the Tesla Robotaxi service fleet up & expanding to new locations.

The outbound lot at Giga Texas is overflowing with Model Y’s, Cybertruck and Cybercabs! The sorting lanes near the EOL facility are all full and the line of new cars extends to the Cybertunnel and even further south! Production of the “standard” AWD Cybertruck is underway and visible, which supports posts of new owners being assigned VINs. Expected first deliveries of these lower cost AWD trucks should begin by June! Cybercabs were driving around, doing figure 8’s on the small track & being loaded onto transport trucks! Check it out!

Happy 8 April (Wednesday) at Giga Texas, especially for those wanting an update on Cybercabs … I saw about 60 of them in two groups in the outbound lot today … the largest grouping yet! Also, looks like at least some of these have white seats and most still have clearly visible steering wheels … I will let you conclude what you wish from that, but these still do not look like the final “production” versions, so perhaps they are testing out some of the new features while testing some of the Tesla Robotaxi areas around the country.

6 July 2026 Giga Texas Snapshots! Model Y L’s in the outbound lot along with Cybercabs & newly-built @Cybertrucks rolling out of the factory. The Optimus robot factory has grown larger again with more steel assembled & the south extension is also growing farther to the S too! The E joint venture Advanced Chip Fab site is looking more ready for initial construction to begin with grade work in several locations. Lots more going on today!

Breaking Giga Texas News! starting today, new vehicles (Model Ys & Cybertruck are moving fully autonomously from the factory to the west outbound lot and without human supervisors! I saw this happening constantly, with Model Ys exiting and immediately driving away on their own from the factory. This is a huge accomplishment for Tesla as now Giga Texas joins Fremont as FSD improves overall efficiency!

Cybercab production continues today & I think I captured an autonomously driving version without a steering wheel making a graceful arrival & then backing smoothly into a parking space on the W side of the EOL! We see many lined up outside the E of the main factory at the exit point with “Robotaxi” on the sides & the rear hatch & for the 1st time, Cybercabs are interspersed into the regular vehicle transportation staging areas, which itself may be a good indicator that production changes are underway. Good to be back & seeing all the Cybercabs around the site! I recently was at BVB, a company in Basel, Switzerland that had a lot of great inputs as to how building, managing & scaling a fleet service like Tesla Robotaxi & how this may be one of the biggest limiting factors to the speed of deployment that nobody (but me) is talking about. I posted that video here on X yesterday, so check that out too for more context & thoughts on what we might be seeing with Tesla.

30+ Cybercabs on the move via transport trucks & at the crash testing facility today. I’ve had many viewers ask how these Cybercabs are loaded up on the trucks and today’s your lucky day. I captured this in progress. The Cybercabs being loaded onto the trucks have Steering wheels so this means these are for testing purposes only, likely headed to cities around the country as Tesla prepares for Cybercabs to enter into the Tesla Robotaxi fleet sometime in April.
