A private Volvo bus travelling from #Hyderabad to #Bengaluru collided with an Eicher vehicle and crashed into the Pogurur bridge, injuring around 40 passengers. 10 are reportedly critical. The trapped bus driver was rescued with a JCB and reportedly suffered a severe leg injury. Police are investigating. #AndhraPradesh

A 21-year-old degree student, addicted to online gambling and burdened with debt, kidnapped a 55-year-old daily wage worker in Karimnagar, robbed her jewellery and pushed her into a well to kill her. A dramatic video from the Devarabetta forest near Thally, close to Hosur on the Tamil Nadu–Karnataka border, has gone viral, showing a wild elephant repeatedly charging and ramming an iron rope fence installed by the Forest Department. A major tragedy occurred early this morning on the Bengaluru–Hyderabad National Highway (NH-44) in Kurnool district. A Volvo bus belonging to Kaleshwaram Travels caught fire and was completely gutted, turning into ashes within minutes.
