We figured out that dad has a psych med induced neurological injury, and has been suffering from akathisia. It’s been 6 years since any psych medications. Last summer his symptoms started, after a flare up likely induced by mold (CIRS) and stress. It was complicated by pneumonia and associated sepsis a month later. It’s been horrible. Neurological injuries from psych meds are far more common than people know. I made this video to explain what they are and what akathisia is because they’re not talked about enough, they’re misdiagnosed, nearly impossible to treat, and hidden by the pharmaceutical industry. I don’t plan on making another update about my dad, it stresses my family out, and myself, and there’s nothing more to say about it until things get better. I will be jumping up and down about psych med injury awareness from now on as it’s impacted my health as well, and is devastating. Prayers are appreciated still.

Hey, as you know Dr Jordan B Peterson has been really sick. A lot of people have been asking for updates so here’s one. He’s recovering slowly day by day but I won't lie, it's slow and scary. He won't be back for another few months at least, probably longer. We’re not entirely sure what’s going on but it looks like possibly severe CIRS and a LOT of bad luck. Or we’re getting spiritually attacked. Or both. To be perfectly honest, I think a lot of this is spiritual. My newborn Audrey almost died of heart failure for no reason in June, dad got sick and came to stay with us in July, then needed a hospital and the same day he went to the hospital by ambulance, my newborn turned blue (again) at home for a different reason not heart related and went a different hospital by ambulance. Within 3 hours of each other. It's been one thing after another in an otherworldly type of way. In the meantime, we'll be going full force with Peterson Academy, and keeping his message across his brand alive while he recovers. Not letting demons get in the way of that. Prayers are MUCH appreciated. Ephesians 6:12

Dad’s back home, out of the hospital. He’s still not doing well but he’s not doing as badly as he was. Prayers are still much appreciated. Thank you to everyone that’s commented and reached out, it makes a lot of difference. We still don’t know 100% what’s going on, but we have great specialists and we’re waiting, hoping and praying for recovery. I’ll see you guys soon, I’m trying to get back to doing more content, and I’ll keep everyone posted when there’s more of a change in health. ❤️ Mikhaila

I've wanted to have this kind of conversation for a long time. Wes Huff is a New Testament historian who studies ancient manuscripts, and he is exactly the kind of thinker I wish I had found before I became a Christian. The logical part of my brain needed someone who could walk through the evidence without assuming you already believe it. What is the evidence for the resurrection? What was speaking in tongues? Which translation is the most accurate? And more!

Here’s a podcast about mitochondrial dysfunction. From all my years of using ketogenic diets like the lion diet for health, getting impacted by mold, experiencing SSRI induced withdrawal/damage, it finally appears like the root cause is mitochondrial dysfunction at a cellular level. The research into this is cutting edge and fascinating. Chris Masterjohn, a PhD in nutritional sciences, runs a mitochondrial testing company called Mitome and is unbelievably knowledgeable about mitochondrial dysfunction. We get into what serotonin is actually doing in your body, why SSRIs and benzodiazepines are actually mitochondrial drugs in ways nobody prescribing them understands, why the lion diet and other keto diets work from a biochemistry standpoint, why mega-dosing supplements can harm you, what B vitamins and red meat have to do with inflammation, how mold toxicity and food reactions can produce identical symptoms and more. This one is for anyone who has been chronically sick and wants to understand what’s going on at a cellular level.

YouTube flagged this video. Apparently we can’t refute Trudeau’s lies without damaging my channel.

HUGE NEWS: we are officially launching a large random clinical trial study on the ketogenic and carnivore (Lion Diet specifically) and its impact on RA and IBD! I have been working towards this and wanting it for 8 years since the carnivore diet put my Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis into remission. This kind of study could really change people’s lives.

.Laura Delano was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at 14 and spent the next 13 years on psychiatric medications including lithium, Lamictal, Abilify, Effexor, and Ativan. After being labeled “treatment resistant” and nearly ending her life, she started questioning whether the medications themselves were part of the problem. In this conversation, Laura walks through what happened when she came off five psychiatric drugs, the years-long withdrawal process that followed, and how she rebuilt her health afterward. She also explains why she founded Intercompass Initiative, a nonprofit helping people taper off psychiatric medications safely. We discuss: • Psychiatric drug dependence and withdrawal • Withdrawal vs. relapse • Hyperbolic tapering • The chemical imbalance theory • Akathisia and neurological symptoms • Diet and recovery • Birth control and psychiatric medication • RFK Jr. and psychiatric drug policy • TikTok censorship • Why 1 in 4 Americans are now on psych meds

Dr. Robert Abbott joined me to discuss the largest study ever planned on rheumatoid arthritis and IBD using dietary intervention—testing the ketogenic and the carnivore diet (lion diet specifically). Autoimmune diseases are mainly treated with immunosuppressive drugs. Diet has barely been studied. The best evidence so far is a 2024 case series of 10 IBD patients, where all achieved remission on carnivore-ketogenic diets.

.Adam Omary is a psychologist, neuroscientist, and researcher at the Cato Institute. In this episode, we discuss what the latest data on puberty blockers shows, why psychiatric diagnoses continue to rise, the rapid increase in autism diagnoses following the pandemic, the expansion of the DSM, smartphone bans in schools, social media and mental health, and the difference between normal human suffering and psychiatric illness. Topics: • New data on puberty blockers • Gender dysphoria research • SSRI use in Gen Z • The expansion of the DSM • Overdiagnosis in psychiatry • Autism diagnoses after COVID • Smartphone bans in schools • Social media and mental health • Grief vs. major depressive disorder • Incentives in the mental health industry • The psychology of progress

Huge news—I can now tolerate some plant foods without arthritis or depression flares! After 8 years of strict ruminant meat only, I'm shifting to animal-based/keto (meat + greens). Diet achieved remission but I needed more help to add foods back in! Finally figured out how in the last few years. Full 10-year health overview (what worked, what didn't) in my new YouTube/podcast video—linked in bio. Also: Please consider supporting or applying for the study comparing keto, Lion Diet, and SAD on RA & IBD. Links in bio. These clinical trials can help change mainstream medicine's approach to chronic illness!

Ben Greenfield is back. This episode is very practical and very dense. We cover the carnivore and lion diet clinical study I’m running, including why we’re comparing those diets against ketogenic and standard American diets for autoimmune and psychiatric conditions. Ben Greenfield also walks through his peptide routine, including what he uses on travel days, why he prefers NAD patches over IVs, and his morning and evening growth hormone peptide protocol. We also get into why the peptide market has changed, seed oils, histamine sensitivity, grass-fed vs. grain-finished beef, mold exposure, and why “clean” food is not always as clean as people think.

I had Tom Benson, CEO of Mitrix on to discuss mitochondrial transplantation. We covered what mitochondria are, the discovery that your body is constantly delivering fresh mitochondria through your bloodstream (people didn’t know that mitochondria were transferred outside the cell until recently!), why we age, what kills mitochondria (stress, smoking, radiation, chemotherapy and certain antibiotics like fluoroquinolones, psych meds), why COVID destroys mitochondria and what that means for long COVID, the Alzheimer's and Parkinson's brain tissue regeneration research their company has already done in mice, what mitochondrial transplantation actually is and how it has already been used in pediatric heart surgery, what a bioreactor growing mitochondria for personal use might look like, and more.

164k raised!! Thanks to everyone who’s donated so far! If you’d like to contribute to the largest Carnivore (Lion Diet) vs. Keto vs. Standard American Diet and its impact on RA and IBD the link is in my bio. We’re also still looking for applicants to join (see the comments for exclusion criteria). Looking forward to sharing the results when this is over. I had Dr. Jaban Moore on my podcast! In my opinion one of the top integrative doctors out there. He works with people around the world on complex chronic illness: Lyme disease, mold toxicity, heavy metals, MCAS, long COVID and everything in between. We get into a ton. Why blood tests for heavy metals are almost completely useless, how your body adapts to toxins so well that your labs can look fine while you are actually very sick, why psych meds can still be sitting in your cells years after you stopped taking them, what it actually means when you react badly to magnesium or B vitamins, the energy budget framework and why high achievers can burn themselves out. Why living in a bubble and feeling okay is not the same as being healed (duh), how trauma and mold toxicity create the same internal loop that keeps your body stuck in fight or flight, what the neurotoxic loop is and why leaving a moldy house does not automatically stop the immune response. He’s an integrative doc I’d trust to treat patients properly and worth a listen.
