💔💔💔😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 HOW MANY MORE TIMES DO WE HAVE TO SEE THIS BEFORE SOMETHING FINALLY CHANGES??? 😡😡😡 This evening in Clonmel, people sat in their cars, helpless, horrified, watching a horse collapse on a public road, a trap/sulky still attached. An animal pushed beyond its limits, then dragged back up and forced to keep going as if its suffering meant nothing. This isn’t just neglect. This is cruelty, in plain sight, in modern Ireland. And yet it keeps happening. 😡 This happened at the roundabout at the Bulmers Factory, Clonmel, Tipperary 💔💔😡😡 We are angry. We are heartbroken. We are ashamed that in a country that claims to value animal welfare, this is still allowed to continue on our roads. Laws mean nothing without enforcement. Words mean nothing without action. To those in power: how many videos, how many witnesses, how many broken or dead animals will it take before you act? We are calling for: A dedicated An Garda Síochána Animal Crime Unit with real authority and resources. Immediate enforcement of existing animal welfare laws A clear, enforceable ban on the use of horses in these conditions on public roads This is not tradition. This is not culture. This is suffering 😡 We will not stay silent. We will not look away. And we will not stop demanding change until this cruelty ends. Two St Bernards found, presumed dumped. The poor dogs - a boy & a girl - had been wandering the Wicklow roads for hours. The boy was lying in the middle of the road when they were found. They’re both in our care now. Chipped but no owners. They have had veterinary treatment for exhaustion - they’re thin, matted & completely exhausted. Potentially used for breeding, then discarded when no use anymore. This is Ireland, the dog crises gets worst. 💔 Our hearts are literally broken. We’re trying our best to help as many as we can. Please support us & these two beautiful souls:

RIP BABY TOM 💔💔💔💔💔 Baby Tom passed away today 💔💔💔💔 Tom and his siblings had been so sick, sadly Tom was to weak and could fight no longer 💔 A huge hug to poor MLHR Alex and MLHR Georgia who have given this little family of orphans round the clock care, tonight they are heart broken to have lost this little angel 💔 To the Raheny Veterinary Hospital team, thank you for doing all you could for Tom ❤️ You are pain free now little one, no more sickness, you will always be a part of the MLHR Family 💔💔💔 RIP sweet gentle little boy 💔💔💔

RIP SWEETHEARTS 💔💔💔💔💔💔 Found dumped at a Dublin garage last night, both icy cold and both suffering with Parvo, both very very sick 💔💔💔💔 We rushed them to Veterinary Specialists Ireland but sadly within 2 hours Sally passed away 💔 Baby Tom fought until this afternoon then went further down hill and passed away 💔💔💔💔 Two innocent tiny little puppies, we prayed they’d make it, they would have if whoever dumped them had got them to a vet 💔💔 Once again we cry for the loss of two beautiful little souls 💔💔💔 RIP Sally & Tom…pain free now and out of this cruel world 💔💔💔 If you can we ask that you donate towards our vet campaign, our vet bills are so unbelievably high 💔💔 💔❤️💔❤️

EMERGENCY RESCUE… 💔💔😡😡 A BABY DUMPED 😡😡😡😡😡 We made the three and a half hour journey to Limerick after being told about a horse in desperate need of help. We couldn't get anyone else to respond, so we went. When we got there we helped the poor pony that needed us, but then….Hidden inside an old, abandoned horse box was a tiny foal. Alone. Terrified. Severely dehydrated. No food. No water. Nothing. 😡😡😡❤️❤️❤️❤️ We have no idea how long this poor baby had been trapped there.💔 The horse box had no registration plates, no identifying information, just an old trailer that appears to have been used to dump this innocent little life. 💔💔💔 Had we not opened that door when we did, we truly believe he would have been left there to die.💔😡 We immediately contacted An Garda Síochána, carefully removed him from the box, and rushed him back to Kildare, where our vet was waiting. He is now receiving the urgent care he desperately needs, but he has a long road ahead of him, barely a month old 💔💔💔💔💔 Once again, this is another innocent foal discarded because he was the "wrong" colour, the "wrong" gender, or simply no longer wanted. 😡😡😡 It is absolutely heartbreaking that animals continue to suffer because of human cruelty and neglect.😡😡😡 We are emotionally exhausted. Every rescue takes its toll, but walking away is not an option when innocent animals have no one else. Something has to change. Ireland needs stronger animal welfare laws, meaningful prosecutions, and dedicated resources to investigate animal cruelty. Until those responsible face real consequences, this cycle of suffering will continue.😡😡😡 Please donate if you can, share this post, and help us give this precious little boy the future he deserves. We have so many questions: Why is this man behaving in this way? What is he trying to achieve? Is he trying to show how macho he is inflicting pain and hurt on a baby???? This poor boy had a tight rope around his neck, could barely move, his poor skin so badly damaged from the sun and most likely eating Ragwort, Ragwort is a weed, it is toxic to animals and can cause liver damage. Most animals avoid eating ragwort due to its bitter taste, if starving sadly they will eat it 💔💔💔 This poor boy has such sorrow in his eyes, heart breaking 💔💔💔 Our vet put him on antibiotics and is back with him tomorrow. We have named him Rylan ❤️ We promise to give him nothing but the best, a life worth living ❤️💔 We are so sorry humans left you this Rylan 💔 An Garda Síochána want to find out who did this 🤬🤬🤬 Please donate, once again we need your support, Rylan needs you 💔 Thank you 💔❤️

There were moments when our hearts were breaking, but one thing never changed, we were never going to stop looking for our beautiful little Eleanor. Today, everything changed. A person contacted us and said they thought they knew where she was. After so many false leads, we had to be careful, so we asked this person to send us a video with today's newspaper. When we saw it, our hearts began to race💔💔❤️ We drove to Clondalkin, hardly daring to believe it. Hidden behind bushes, tied on a long blue rope... there she was, Kishoge, Clondalkin 😡😡😡 Our Eleanor❤️❤️❤️💔💔💔💔 The moment we saw her, the tears came. Tears of relief. Tears of joy. Tears we have been holding back for 28 days. We wrapped our arms around her and could hardly believe she was finally back where she belongs❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ To every single person who shared her story, kept an eye out, sent messages, offered support, said a prayer, or simply refused to forget about her... thank you. 💔 💔💔WE LEFT BORRIS CARLOW HEARTBROKEN, ANGRY AND ASKING: HOW IS THIS ALLOWED TO HAPPEN?💔😡😡😡 Yesterday our MLHR team made an emergency trip to the horse fair in Borris, Co. Carlow, and what we witnessed was devastating. Horses left without food or water, exhausted and some in terrible condition. One young horse, only around a year old, was covered in ringworm, had just one shoe and was desperately weak. He was being sold for €150. Thankfully, we managed to get him out before he was sold. He is now safe with us and receiving veterinary care. ❤️‍🩹 But it wasn't only the horses. We witnessed people shooting pellet guns at locals and at animals. One mare who was shot with a pellet gun went running up the street with her goal following, heart breaking , 😡😡💔💔💔💔 We also tried desperately to help two puppies, but by the time we found a Garda who was willing to help us, the puppies had disappeared.😡💔 At one point, a member of our MLHR team was also put in danger. We raised our concerns with Boris An Garda Síochána , but we were deeply disappointed that we did not feel the seriousness of the situation was being taken as seriously as it should have been.💔😡 We always work and highly respect an garda Siochana , some of our volunteers and friends are Gardaí, which is why this experience was particularly upsetting. We left Borris angry, heartbroken and exhausted, wondering how this level of suffering can be allowed to happen in Ireland. And this isn't just about Borris. These fairs happen across the country. PLEASE, DON'T LOOK AWAY.💔💔💔 If you see animals being neglected, denied food or water, injured, sick or in danger, REPORT IT. Document what you safely can and speak up. And please help us care for the pony we managed to rescue. His veterinary treatment, medication, feed, farrier care and rehabilitation will all cost money. If you can donate €5, €10 or whatever you can afford, please do. If you cannot donate, PLEASE SHARE. This poor pony had nobody speaking for him yesterday. Today, we are his voice. 💔 This has to stop. POOR HORSE 💔💔….ONE OF THE RIOT HORSES 😡😡😡💔💔💔 Today we had a call from An Garda Síochána Tallaght, this poor horse was lying on the ground and could not get up, suspected colic. Garda Kate moved fast, she has horse experience and was eventually able to get the poor thing up of the ground, he was totally exhausted and struggled to walk. We arrived and he was very lethargic but moving so we called our vet making sure he’d be ready once we got him loaded. When waiting on transport we discovered this is the horse in the video on the trap with a child on the drivers lap that was ridden into the riots at City West last week 😡😡😡😡😡😡 The poor soul has severe cuts on his legs from Ill fitted straps and sores on his mouth from the bit. No wonder he was weak 💔💔💔 Gardaí are now investigating. This lovely boy is safe and getting the veterinary treatment he so deserves ❤️ Please donate, we need your support ❤️ Thank you ❤️ We’ll update everyone how this boy is doing Garda Info

AN EMOTIONAL AFTERNOON 💔 We spent the whole afternoon trying to catch this poor dog. We had reports about her yesterday, seen limping and sleeping rough 💔💔 We couldn’t find her last night, it was to dark on Christmas night 💔💔 Finally she was spotted today and MLHR Sarah got their first and watched her until we could make a plan. After hours of trying, we finally caught her and got her to safety. She was terrified, young, scared…then this miracle happened, MLHR Co Founder Debs and MLHR Rebecca the dog showed her that they only wanted to help, she literally hugged Debs, the tears flowed ❤️ We have called her Maisie after a lovely local lady ❤️ We don’t take days off, not on St Stephen’s Day, not ever, because animals depend on us. Thank you Linda for being there for us as always ❤️ Please donate, every penny counts Thank you ❤️❤️

💔💔💔10:55 p.m. PUPPIES DUMPED AT A SKIP IN DUBLIN 💔💔💔💔😡😡😡 Six tiny puppies abandoned beside a skip, left in a box like they didn't matter. A kind woman found them, and as always the MLHR team got there as quickly as possible. Tonight they're safe, warm, and being cared for. They're only around 3 to 4 weeks old. They should be with their mammy, not fighting for a chance at life.💔💔💔 Tomorrow morning they'll be straight to our vet, and the bills will begin. We honestly don't know what has happened to this country. Every single day, rescues across Ireland are dealing with heartbreaking cases like this. We answer these late night calls because if we don't, who will? Please if you can make a donation towards the care of these six precious babies, 5 girls, 1 boy. We will give them the future they deserve ❤️ Thank you for always standing with us 💔💔💔❤️ Sleep tight and safe little babies ❤️❤️

💔💔💔POOR GOAT💔💔💔 This poor goat was found in a wasteland area of Dublin. Alongside the Dublin City Council Animal Welfare Unit Team, we spent a long time patiently trying to gain his trust. Eventually, we managed to get him to safety. The poor thing had a rope wrapped so tightly around his two large horns that it had been knotted in place. It was heartbreaking to see. 💔💔 It was obvious he'd been tied up and secured to a brick in the field, with no sign of water, left alone, frightened, and vulnerable.💔😡 What is going on? We really need to do better as a country. Animals deserve kindness, care, and protection. A goat should never be abandoned in a City, tied to a brick and left to fend for himself. It's simply unacceptable.😡 It's situations like this that make us feel angry and deeply saddened. But thanks to teamwork, this lovely boy is now safe. A huge thank you to the Dublin City Council Animal Welfare Unit for their help and dedication. Together, we made sure he got the second chance he deserved. ❤️ To donate to our on going work and love of animals, animals that are desperate for help, please donate ❤️ We have named him Robin Hood ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

WHAT IS WRONG WITH HUMANS 💔💔💔😡😡 This poor boy spent four years alone in a backyard. Fed and watered, yes, but with almost no human contact, no love, no life. That’s no life for any dog. It’s no life for anyone. He was a prisoner in his own yard. 😡 When we heard about him, we worked hard to get him out of that situation, because every animal deserves more than just existing. Right now he’s very scared. The outside world is completely new and frightening to him. But we’re going to show him patience, kindness, and love and help him discover what life really is. We can’t wait for the day when he finally feels safe… when his tail starts wagging and he learns what it means to be loved. ❤️ Please support us. How anyone could think this treatment of a little dog was acceptable is beyond us 😡 We immediately contacted An Garda Síochána Limerick and drove over three hours to meet them. We want to sincerely thank Sergeant Dave and his team, their compassion and willingness to help were absolutely incredible. This little guy is now safe. We can’t say more at this time, but this innocent baby pug boy will never have to endure such cruelty again. He had simply existed… cold, wet most days, and freezing at night. THEY DON’T CARE! 🤬 Look at the speed of those poor horses, the beatings they are getting, the shouting from the cruel humans involved. No respect for the Gardaí Garda Info An Garda Síochána ! Traffic coming up the other side in complete danger. It’s beyond cruel and a completely out of control! Are we waiting for someone to die before the government sits up and finally does something?! This sulky race saw over 50 vehicles travel in convoy with spectators hanging out of vehicle windows. It took place on Sunday, on the N20 near Croom in Limerick at around lunchtime. Laws needs to be enforced. Our Gardaí aren’t safe at scrubs like this so what chance does the public have 🤬 ENOUGH IS ENOUGH Contact your local TD’s, it’s going on all over the country, huge bets on these poor horses… BAN SULKY RACING ON PUBLIC ROADS 🤬

This sulky race saw over 50 vehicles travel in convoy with spectators hanging out of vehicle windows. It took place on Sunday, on the N20 near Croom in Limerick at around lunchtime. Laws needs to be enforced. Meet our latest boy, Ernest ❤️ Sadly, Ernest was owned by an elderly gentleman who could no longer care for him. For years, poor Ernest spent every day on his own. Donkeys thrive on companionship, and being alone is so hard for them, so we knew we had to make room for him here at My Lovely Horse Rescue Farm. Today marks the first day of Ernest’s new life. He’ll soon meet the other donkeys and, we hope, make lifelong friends. He’ll finally have companions to chat with, scratch backs with, and just be a donkey. 💔💔THIS MORNING IN DUBLIN CITY CENTRE 💔 An innocent little mule was found tied to a fence, hidden behind flats in the heart of Dublin City. No water. No shelter. No care. He just stood there… confused, alone, and completely dependent on someone who failed him. Thanks to a kind member of the public who spoke up, and the quick response from the An Garda Síochána, this little boy is now safe. But the question is, how many others are suffering unseen? This is not okay. This shouldn’t be normal. And this cannot continue. Mules are intelligent, emotional animals. They feel fear, loneliness, and pain just like any other. ❤️🤩 Sometimes it takes an army, an army of rescuers, local people, vets, and compassionate individuals to achieve something truly amazing. On Friday evening, while we were in the middle of trying to find Eleanor, another emergency was unfolding in Offaly. A poor horse had become trapped in a bog. MLPR Welfare Officer, Cathy, headed to Offaly with the horse van to help. When she arrived, she was overwhelmed by the number of people who had come together to save this horse. It was incredible to see so many people giving their time, skills, and compassion. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jenna for raising the alarm, to Leinster Horse and Pony Rescue, to the NSPCA Longford, and especially David Murray from Ballylinch Stud. David was outstanding. He coordinated, remained calm under pressure, and worked tirelessly alongside everyone involved. This rescue is proof of what can be achieved when everyone works together. If we could bring this same level of cooperation to every welfare case, Ireland's animal welfare crisis would be a very different story. We're delighted to say the horse made a full recovery and was able to go home with her owner. A special thank you also goes to the two vets involved, the Department of Agriculture, and the local vet who knew the pony and helped ensure she received the care she needed. Thank you to every single person who played a part. It was an extraordinary rescue and a wonderful reminder that, when people come together, amazing things really can happen. ❤️ ❤️🤩❤️🤩 She is home now and is making great recovery ❤️

The dark side of Ballinasloe Fair… On Sunday we attended the Ballinasloe Fair & were disgusted by some of the sights we witnessed. This fair is advertised as a family event where you can expect it to be fun filled, nowhere can we see any posts alluding to the safety & welfare of the animals on sale or on show at this event. Our video is just some of the footage we got throughout the day & we are calling on the authorities & the fair sponsors to do better - respect the lives of the innocent animals at this fair & SHUT the pit down! Enforce better standards throughout - access to water, access to hay, limited time on the green, & enforced checking of passports & microchips. We’re calling on members of the public to write to the authorities & sponsors to express your disappointment & anger that in 2023 this type of abuse is still allowed to continue in such a public manner without challenge. At one point, our volunteer confronted the guy on the mule & was subjected to 20/30 men shouting back at her & then encouraging the abuser to continue is horrible ways. Thankfully this mule was seized by the ISPCA but not before it was let loose, hit with sticks, slapped & chased through the fair by grown men to cause disruption. Our video shows only a small piece of that event that unfolded. We wish to thank the ISPCA for the incredible job they did at the fair on Sunday in what can only be described as challenging circumstances by a minority. We reported numerous abuse cases & welfare concerns & they acted without hesitation. Our ask is that the presence be increased by all authorised officers to ensure there is nowhere to hide for these abusers to continue. We do want to acknowledge the genuine equestrian enthusiasts who attend the fair with their beautiful well cared for equines. The abuse is a minority but there is no excuse in this day & age for it to be allowed to continue. Again we need the public to come together to make change happen & that change needs to happen now. Ballinasloe is on again this weekend. The pit will be open & more animals will suffer. What are you going to do about it? 💔💔💔RIP Patricia (Patty) 💔💔💔 Today, with the heaviest of hearts, we say goodbye to Patricia. Despite every effort from our team and the incredible vets and nurses at UCD Veterinary Hospital, her body could no longer fight. Her liver failed, her organs began to shut down… and we lost her. This video was taken yesterday evening 💔💔💔🥲🥲🥲 Patricia didn’t deserve this. She was rescued on St. Patrick’s Day in a horrific state, emaciated, injured, her hooves in bits, her body marked, and an embedded head collar that made it hard for her to even breathe. What she endured was not just neglect…it was cruelty 💔😡 And someone is responsible. This cannot keep happening. Animals like Patricia are suffering in silence, and too often, those responsible face no consequences. That has to change. But in her final days, Patricia knew something different. She knew care. She knew kindness. She knew that a whole team was fighting for her, loving her, and refusing to give up on her. We are heartbroken. We are angry. But we are not done. We will keep fighting. ♥️ Howard update ♥️ Our boy is home! 🥰🥰 Howard previously had treatment for sarcoids and they cleared up, but when they grew back aggressively, he required months of treatments at UCD Veterinary Hospital. 💔They were right around his eye, causing pain and discomfort😪 We consulted with our vets and the best course of action was to remove the eye so the sarcoids could also be removed💔💔 Thankfully the procedure went well and Howard is now back with us, his best friend Cyril has been there for moral support throughout Howard’s treatment, we’re so glad to have them home.
