Many drivers ignore this and hog the middle or left lane like seen in this video and yes, you can get fined for it. Tesla FSD does it perfectly: it automatically merges back to the right when the lane is clear. Overtaking on the right is strictly forbidden (with even bigger fines)

Bruges has tons of car-free/low-traffic streets, and this one is closed to cars from 1 PM onward. If I see one more post claiming FSD is “dangerous for pedestrians,” I’m going to lose it. I genuinely don’t understand the hate towards FSD. Or the “just drive yourself” comments. I love driving, and track days are pure driving joy! But a daily commute full of red lights, traffic, trucks everywhere and constantly watching for motorcyclists? That’s not fun, that’s just torture. FSD takes all that stress away and drives smoother than a limo driver. How can you be against that? I’m honestly trying to understand.
