Strickland is elite at getting back to his feet. Against DDP, he gave up 6 takedowns/mat returns, but was never held down longer than 46 seconds and absorbed ZERO ground strikes. Yes, Chimaev and DDP are very different wrestlers, but if Chimaev spends more energy finishing takedowns than Strickland spends getting up, the later rounds become a completely different fight.
