Only idiots and Britain haters blame Churchill for the Bengal Famine This myth only became popular in 2010 after a ridiculous book was published by a far-left journalist with no historical training This is what REALLY happened: 1. A cyclone hit Bengal in 1942, destroying crops 2. They were already suffering from the worst rice brown spot epidemic on record 3. Normally in a famine grain would be imported from Burma, Malaya, Phillipines, Thailand etc. But WW2 ws raging and our Japanese enemy now controlled those areas 4. The Japanese had bombed Indian ports, which also destroyed grain 5. Shipping grain in was hugely dangerous because Japanese fleet was blockading the Bay of Bengal and sinking ships Remember, the Axis powers were sinking one ship every day and had sunk around a million tons of shipping in 1942. 6. On top of that local Indian speculative traders were unforgivably HOARDING grain. With inflation rife, this was classic wartime speculation as they could make (and expected to make) much more money by hoarding rather than selling immediately. 7. Local government and administrators were slow to act and initially told the UK government there was enough grain in Bengal. One can blame the democratically elected Government of Bengal, people like Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy (Minister of Civil Supplies for the newly formed Muslim League) and Sir John Herbert (the Governor of Bengal) for exacerbating conditions in the Bengal Famine. But not Churchill. What did Churchill do? Everything he could. Remember also, he was thousands of miles away in a different continent fighting the Second World War and preparing for D-Day. Yet despite all his other commitments he worked hard to save the people of Bengal. 1. When the British government found out about the famine’s severity in August 1943, they authorised around 1 million tons of grain to be shipped to India between then and December 1944. 2. Churchill pushed Australia to send wheat 3. Churchill personally requested shipping assistance from U.S. President Roosevelt in April 1944 to transport it from Australia. Roosevelt declined, stating US ships were needed for the Pacific campaign and the upcoming D-Day operations. 4. Thanks to Churchill grain arrived from Iraq (barley), and Canada as well as Australia. 5. Crucially, Churchill was responsible for appointing the man who played such a pivotal role in stopping the Bengal Famine: Field Marshal Wavell. Wavell knew India and its people extremely well and was a magician of logistics. He drafted in the army to move food supplies and halted the famine. Why are tax payers funding Helen Cammock's ignorant, anti-British propaganda at the National Portrait Gallery?

Someone should remind Ms. Bell Ribeiro-Addy that she is the MP for CLAPHAM not the CARIBBEAN Why is a Labour MP advocating for foreign powers that seek to BANKRUPT Britain by demanding TRILLIONS in reparations? These countries are led by incompetent & substandard leaders - many of them corrupt, too - who have run their economies into the ground. Rather than admit that, they seek to blame their ills on colonialism. The reparations grift has nothing to do with slavery. In fact, according to a reputable poll taken in 2011, a whopping 60% of Jamaicans said they would be better off if Britain had never left. Only 17% said they would be worse off. And the facts back them up. Today, the parts of the Caribbean which remain overseas territories or departments of the UK, France (Guadeloupe, Martinique etc.), the Netherlands (Aruba etc.) and the United States (Puerto Rico etc.) have significantly higher incomes and better public services than the fully independent Caribbean states. Like all former British colonies, the independent Caribbean states inherited all of the assets (infrastructure, civil service, legal system, parliament, military, police etc.) required to become a success story. Former colonies like Singapore have been fortunate to be led by competent - indeed, brilliant - leaders. The Caribbean story, however, has been one of corruption and incompetence. Rather than admit that, they sink into the corrosive politics of victimhood: blaming others for their sad predicament and seeking hand outs. The British built more than 20 hospitals in Jamaica before it achieved independence in 1962. How many hospitals has the Jamaican government built since 1962? Two. Me on GB News:

The Bank of England DELIBERATELY FIXED the fake "public vote" to remove ALL historical figures from bank notes & replace them with nature images Freedom of Information requests by the Telegraph reveal the decision to remove historical figures was based on a "focus group" of a mere 119 people The Bank LIED because it previously claimed the decision was based on a "public vote". In truth, however, even this vote was FIXED. Instead of having HISTORY v NATURE, the bank deliberately split the "history" category into 3 sections: historical events, historical figures, architecture & landmarks. That was the only way that "nature" could win. However, of course bank notes always combine at least two of those history categories. For example: Churchill & Parliament or Wellington & Waterloo. The Bank's actions are indefensible and questions should be asked in the House. The Bank of England has clearly been captured by progressive woke ideology. A visit to the Bank of England with its permanent exhibition on slavery makes that clear This is part of the wider war on British history. It's an attempt to create a NEW BRITAIN, based on ridiculous myths that "Diversity Built Britain" and that Britain has always been multicultural. Remember: the Bank of England issued a 50p coin (held aloft by Rishi Sunak) which was imprinted with the nonsensical statement: "Diversity Built Britain" Anyone who lived behind the Iron Curtain will find all of this eerily and scarily familiar. The pulling down of statues, the renaming of streets and schools, the rewriting of history, denigrating heroes, changing bank notes etc....these were all tactics of the communists. Severing the connection between a people and their history is the best way to demoralise a society and prepare them for the imposition of new myths. Me on GB News:

The UN is a corrupt joke More slaves were held by Africans than were EVER sent across the Atlantic 7 in every 1000 Africans is a slave TODAY: 10 MILLION people It took 300 years for 10M slaves to cross the Atlantic 🤦♂️ And the Arab Slave Trade in Africans continues TODAY! So where are the protests outside the embassies & high commissions of Nigeria, Sudan, Mali, Chad etc? Utterly contemptible. This is not about slavery at all. This is an attack on Britain, America and the West. Slavery is universal and as old as man. What was unique was the Christian evangelical movement that spread across Britain, America and Western Europe that led to the West ending its BRIEF involvement in slavery. Never forget: Britain was the first country in world history to deliberately make itself poorer in the pursuit of a moral good - i.e. the vast sums it expended enforcing an end to the slave trade on land and the high seas. We must call this nonsense out. Me at Cambridge:

What is playing out now with the Belfast attack, with Henry Nowak, is a grand symphony of gaslighting & dishonesty that is almost too stomach-churning to watch We witnessed the same after Southport, with the rape gangs....and on & on They KNOW their mass migration ideology caused these atrocities. So they choose to deflect on to right-wing politicians, GB News and what they call the "far right". The public need to understand exactly how their game is played and the poisonous ideology that underpins it. The cycle is always the same: Fury erupts across Britain, driven not by public figures (as they claim), but by the atrocity itself. You know, the mad asylum seeker wielding a bloodied knife... Footage is shared on social media, watched with our own eyes. The pure unvarnished truth that the legacy media can't spin. Figures on the right respond with natural fury - indeed, rage - that the elite's callous disregard for reality and their fellow citizens has yet again unleashed carnage. But the media and the political class can't talk about that reality. They can't talk about the incident itself. Because they would have to admit it is thanks to them that such people - such murderers - have entered the country. The BBC, The Guardian, Sky News, Labour, the Greens, the Lib Dems & many Tories, too -- What THEY CHOOSE to talk about, what they WANT YOU TO THINK the real story is about, is the anger and the choice of words of those of us who are utterly appalled and outraged by the latest atrocity -- an atrocity THEY enabled. This is gaslighting propaganda of the most repellent and unforgivable kind. With Southport, the real story was apparently not the son of a Rwandan refugee committing one of the most heinous crimes in British history. No, the real story was Nigel Farage's reaction to that orgy of slaughter against little girls. When locals rioted, James O'Brien and others labelled it the 'Farage Riots'. The small number of rioters suddenly became the story, used to dismiss the concerns of ALL protestors. "Far-right thuggery", was how Keir Starmer referred to law-abiding mothers and pensioners. Anything to avoid talking about the crime itself and the ideology that brought its perpetrator into our country. And now we see the same playing out with the Belfast attack and the murder of Henry Nowak. Newsnight misleadingly quoted Nigel Farage as saying "white rage," a revealing and vile smear for which they have had to apologise yet again. In lockstep, the media and political class rapidly converged on their narrative: this was to be a story about Nigel Farage's naughty words. THIS is what has dominated their coverage. This is what they want to talk about in Parliament, in the TV studios, and in the press. Farage's naughty words. "Just how naughty were they? Should such bad words be tolerated? Should he be arrested?" "Do we need to apply yet more censorship to protect the public against his mean, hurty words?" These people are so far beneath contempt it is difficult to find words that do them justice. This is a story not about Nigel Farage or the right, but the deeply ingrained anti-British and anti-white ideology that is destroying this nation. This is an institutionally treasonous state, and Henry Novak and Stephen Ogilvie are its latest victims. That is the real story our political and media class are attempting to bury under a mountain of pearl-clutching theatrics, lies, and misdirection. They have blood on their hands. It's about time we said it. Clip from my monologue. 👇 Full monologue linked in the second post. 1/2

Sharia law has no place in modern society It is the greatest threat to womens' rights in Britain & is used as a tool of oppression, victimisation & abuse Our hypocritical politicians embraced "#MeToo", preach about women's rights & lecture British men about "toxic masculinity"... whilst at the same time wilfully turning a blind eye to the rampant misogyny, oppression, sexual assault, domestic & honour based violence that exists within parts of the Muslim community - and which is enabled by some Sharia councils. Sharia councils (which are completely unregulated) have condoned wife beating, told wives to reconcile with abusive husbands and dismissed the idea of "marital rape". We live in an age of great leaps forward for humanity: Artificial Intelligence, quantum computing, driverless cars, tourist trips to space etc. etc. It is preposterous that in such an advanced age, women's lives are still being ruled by medieval laws. We are all equal under the law. One law for all. That principle must stand. Why, then, is Britain the "Sharia capital" of the West? We have more Sharia councils than anyone else and British Muslims help set up Sharia councils in other Western countries. 60%-80% of Muslim marriages in the UK are Sharia only, with no civil registration (thus denying "wives" protection from English courts). This is the highest in the Western world. Some morons will reply: "Sharia is voluntary and has no legal recognition or force in the UK". Tell that to the Muslim women who are forced to go to Sharia councils and who are forced (by their religious leaders, their husbands, their families and their wider community) to accept the rulings - rulings made by ultra-conservative / extremist / Islamist men. Many of these women aren't even aware that Sharia has no legal force or that English courts would come to a different ruling. A party that does not pledge to tackle Sharia councils is a party that condones the oppression of women. Me on GB News:

The Stephen Lawrence' murder led to the Macpherson report into police "institutional racism" The Henry Nowak murder MUST lead to a similar report into police's ANTI-WHITE racism The police over-corrected to such an insane level they are now high priests of the diversity cult This is a cult that believes minorities are sacred and incapable of evil - especially racism The truth is that today's super diversity is not a strength. For victims like Henry Nowak - and far too many others - "diversity" is a death sentence.

Dear United Nations, Oldest slave trades: 1. Africans enslaving Africans: Thousands of years to today 2. Arab slave trade: 1000+ years to today British Empire slave trade? 1555 - 1807 Should Europe claim reparations for the Barbary Slave Trade in 1M+ WHITE SLAVES? North Africans enslaved at least 1 Million white Europeans in the Barbary Slave Trade, which lasted longer than the British Empire's trans-Atlantic slave trade. If the Caribbean and Africa want reparations, why is Europe also not entitled to reparations? Where does this end? Should Italy pay reparations for slavery in the Roman Empire? The ban on #cousinmarriage is one explanation for the origin of The West's genius & exceptionalism I discuss this in my TRIGGERnometry interview 👇 Harvard's Prof J Heinrich argues that the Western mind evolved differently & was a global anomaly because of the 9th century Western (Catholic) Church's ban on cousin marriage. Up to that point, the structure of societies across the globe was defined by kinship clans - large extended families where your first, second, third, fourth cousins were as much part of the family as brothers and sisters. These clan societies were based upon nepotism, obedience to authority and conformity. Strangers were regard with distrust and hostility. In the West, the ban on marriage between certain degrees of consanguinity resulted in the birth of the nuclear family, which didn't exist elsewhere. Today, 75% of the world still has cousin marriages. According to Heinrich, approx. 90% of the world doesn't have the same notion of the exclusive nuclear family that we have. The birth of the Western nuclear family devoid of its external connections to clanship, directly let to the emergence of individuality and innovation. With kinship clans destroyed, the nuclear family had to rely on contact with strangers. This led to the development of high levels of social trust in the West. Social trust is one of the most important criteria for a society's economic prosperity and social cohesion. With high levels of social trust, these medieval European nuclear families were able to come together & cooperate for their mutual benefit. They achieved this, for example, by establishing guilds, confraternities, universities and charter towns. These uniquely Western institutions helped to foster the cross-pollination of ideas and skills, through which innovation exploded. The exclusively Western notion of individualism was core to this, as well. And much of that is due to Protestantism. I explain all this in greater detail in this video:

Yes. I've been warning about this calamity for a while 7% of the UK pop. changed in just 3 YEARS thanks to the BORISWAVE of 4M+ people btw 2021-2024 This was the largest demographic shift in 1000 years In January, the first ripple of the Boriswave became eligible for PERMANENT settlement & BENEFITS Starmer knows this is disastrous and wishes to extend Indefinite Leave to Remain eligibility from 5 to 10 years However our weak & feeble PM is under intense pressure from his Labour backbenchers to keep eligibility at 5 years and extend it to the Boriswave ASAP However, even if ILR is extended to 10 years, Labour are offering people various shortcut routes to achieve ILR much earlier. In addition, Starmer's open border comrades (i.e. immigration lawyers) are promising to block this extension in the courts. Let's be clear: the majority of the Boriswave are low-skilled, low-earning migrants from the third world / developing nations. Allowing them to stay in the UK will be an economic and social catastrophe. The government - and any new government - must commit to blocking the Boriswave from settling in the UK. Indefinite Leave to Remain should be abolished. Clip from my monologue earlier this year:

We are not being led We are being managed - nay, steered - into decline Britain is broken. Our crisis is existential We need a leader who can rise to the occasion Instead, we have a feeble PM whose premiership has been marked by hesitation, prevarication, incompetence, poor judgement, envy and ideological fanaticism – as well as a deep seated loathing for traditional Britain. As I predicted in January, feeble Starmer is about to make THE WORST U-Turn of all time: allowing the low-skilled BORISWAVE to stay here PERMANENTLY & claim BILLIONS in benefits & housing Under pressure from his Loony Left MPs, the Muslim Vote & the Green Party, Starmer's now signalling he'll DROP the plan to extend Indefinite Leave to Remain eligibility from 5 yrs to 10 yrs This means that, from this year, the Boriswave will be allowed to stay permanently, costing the UK taxpayer billions - in fact, eventually TENS of BILLIONS. BORISWAVE: 4.8 MILLION people arrived in the UK btw 2021-2024. 7% of the UK pop. changed in just 3 years. This was the largest demographic shift in 1000 years The first ripple of the Boriswave already became eligible for permanent settlement & benefits two months ago (January). This is disastrous Starmer knows this and wished to extend Indefinite Leave to Remain eligibility from 5 to 10 years. However, so weak is he - and so beholden to sectarian votes - that he is being held hostage by the "Red-Green", Islamo-Leftist alliance. In addition, Starmer's open border comrades (i.e. immigration lawyers) are promising to block this extension in the courts. Let's be clear: the majority of the Boriswave are low-skilled, low-earning migrants from the third world / developing nations. Allowing them to stay in the UK will be an economic, social and cultural catastrophe. Up to 1.6 MILLION migrants could become eligible to stay in the UK permanently, with some estimates saying it is closer to 2.5 MILLION We know from the OBR etc. that this type of low-skilled migrant will end up costing the tax payer approx. £465,000 EACH if they live to 80 years. In the shorter term, at least 800,000 will immediately become eligible for benefits. The government - and any new government - must commit to blocking the Boriswave from settling in the UK If Starmer takes the knee to his radicals and grants the Boriswave ILR, a new government should ABOLISH Indefinite Leave to Remain as one of its first acts. Benefits should only go to British citizens. And eligibility for citizenship should be extended to 15 years. Link to my full monologue in the tweet below. Clip:👇 1/2

My feisty debate on GB News We must not be embarrassed to assert the primacy of Western civilisation Africa didn't produce a Shakespeare because, of its 2000 languages, 80% have no written form Asians play European classical music, hold Shakespeare festivals and have national museums of Western art because they appreciate the depth and sophistication of European art forms. They do this whilst also being justifiably proud of the magnificent art, literature & music of Chinese, Japanese and Indian civilisation. This is what the anti-British ideologues who dominate our own cultural institutions cannot - or will not - grasp. They cannot stand that an Englishman is the greatest writer the world has ever produced. It sticks in their craw and they will do anything to diminish and downplay that achievement.

Britain does not owe a SINGLE PENNY to the Caribbean nations When boxer & civil rights activist Muhammad Ali was asked what he thought of Africa, he replied: “I'm just glad my granddaddy got on that boat!” Africa was never going to become Wakanda, with or without colonisation The fact is, as horrific & awful as slavery was, the descendants of slaves today have a far better life than if their ancestors had never left West Africa. Globally, black Americans are the richest part of the black diaspora, with black Canadians and Britons following not far behind. The descendants of slaves in the Caribbean live around 10-15 years longer than in West Africa - and their GDP per capita is approx. 10 x higher. Thanks to their British colonial inheritance* the Caribbean states are stable, democratic, middle income countries. Many outrank regional neighbours (non-British colonies) on the UN Human Development Index - including countries such as Brazil or Mexico. If we were having this discussion in the 19th century, when slaves were alive, I'd absolutely support reparations. But by every measure, today, in the 21st century, the Caribbean nations and the descendants of slaves that live there are benefitting from the legacy of British colonialism. That's something to celebrate rather than denounce. A cause for pride rather than shame. *English language, common law, parliament, judiciary, education system, civil service, military, police, health etc. etc. Me on GB News 👇

Q. How do you Stop the Boats? A. Make Britain less attractive than France It's that simple I joined Martin Daubney 🇬🇧 on GB News to briefly explain how: 1. Empty all migrant hotels and transfer them to temporary camps until they can be processed & deported 2. Clamp down on the underground economy (curry houses, delivery apps etc) 3. Heavily punish rogue landlords who don't do background checks on tenants 4. Only UK citizens are eligible for benefits 5. Mass deportations of illegals 6. Anyone caught in the Channel will be told they will never set foot on UK soil. If their boats can't be turned back to France, they will be plucked from the sea and put in old cruise ships. Once a ship is full it will be sailed off to the Ascension Islands. This is a British Overseas Territory and therefore the Rwandan legal obstacles won't apply. Once potential migrants realise they'll never set foot on Britain, the deterrence will soon be established. This is what the Australians did with the island of Nauru, which is 1000 miles away from Australia. It was a hugely successful policy. Only by creating a true "hostile environment" will the incentive to come to the UK be broken.
