playing The Blood of Dawnwalker on the hardest difficulty with mouse and keyboard and i honestly can't recommend it at all the first bear i ran into almost took me 1 hour to kill. 10 more hours and 3 bears later i decided to switch to controller which made it significantly easier to consistently land directional parries your mileage may vary but as someone that played Witch 3 and Crimson Desert MnK it just was not clicking very well for me 😭

i'm actually a HUGE fan of the way The Blood of Dawnwalker makes you think about managing time so often in games an NPC will give you a quest and the default player response will always be to take it because there is no reason not to for the first time ever though, when an NPC asks me for help i actually have to think about whether or not i have enough time to help them or if it's even worth it the prologue really showcased exactly what the consequences of this system could be and it adds a whole new layer of complexity and intensity to the game that i absolutely love!

i actually really like the pvp in Mistfall Hunter 👀 it's just a shame that most people i ran into attacked me on sight so the game is not pve friendly at all 🤣 maybe it will die down a few weeks later like it did in ARC Raiders 🤷‍♂️
