While a serving senator faces serious allegations linking him to bandits & terrorism, the hypocritical media has again redirected its focus to Malam Nasiru Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai who has been unjustly kept behind bars. In a letter making rounds, it is alleged that the Gov of the state in which that senator serves has written to the President since 2024. Why was there no action taken?

So this guy, a so-called Nephrologist, is under investigation for allegedly conducting an organ harvesting? Wellington Hospital? The guy said he is only a consultant with "many hospitals" in Abuja, but he doesn't have any principal hospital he works with? Doctors on the TL, is that normal? This is why any so called consultant I need to see in this Nigeria, I need to do a thorough background search about them. I saw someone at Lagoon Iwosan Hospital in Lagos. Despite being a hospital with very high reputation & excellent record of professionalism, I had to dig deep into the man's history of practice & even shared his profile to other professionals in other places to ask about him. Be careful out there.

And trust me, you're not one of those knowledgeable people, and may never be, especially how you allowed your heart be filled with political hypocrisy. Tough decisions? Yes. Pains, yes. Nobody argues that. But what we argue, which you people are denying is that despite the tough decisions taken, the President remained wicked & didn't care until lately. Even a Pharaoh won't argue this, bcos there was literally nothing to show. That was the beginning of the whole argument that you came to defend with your hypocrisy. Else, why is Tinubu just realising that "Cheap Fuel must mean cheap transportation"? Is he just realising that Nigerisns have been suffering since his lazy declaration of 'subsidy is gone' without following it up with anything? Even those "knowledgeable" people you're citing faulted the timing, certain measures that should be put in place before and after the lazy declaration & so on. Now, if you want measure whether the decisions are working for the common man, call your poor relatives at home, from both sides in your family, ask them if they're happy with the economy🤣🤣, that is more realistic than pinning this to wait for elections results when we know we have a compromised system already, headed by an utterly corrupt man.

There are still credible and God-fearing Islamic scholars that refused to be bought. Shaykh Abubakar Kandahar (Hafidhahullah). He said, the so called Muslim/Muslim ticket is a fallacy, fake & has nothing to do with Islam. He lambasted the scholars of evil that sold their conscience and want to use religion to deceive people. He added that, that is why even when these so called scholars go to see the President, he do not value them. He sees them as his labourers and collaborators.

Dear Nigeria Police Force Nigerian Army Department of State Services (DSS) Nuhu Ribadu There is an ongoing attack on Hausa Muslims, those doing menial jobs in Port Harcourt, and allegedly championed not by the indigenous Ekwerre people, but by Igbos in Port Harcourt. In as much as I always condemn the rate at which young Hausa boys flood some southern states doing menial jobs (of course due to the failure of the north and its leaders to provide them quality education), as Nigerians they have the right to live anywhere. According to some sources, an Igbo boy snatched the motorcycle of one Hausa Okada rider, and when they recovered the stolen motorcycle, they beat the thief to a pulp. Some said he died in the hospital. The Okada riders have complained that several of their members were killed along that Eleme Junction and their motorcycle stolen. So this time, they took laws into their hands. This is condemnable. It was after such altercations that some Igbos living in that area went in rampage, destroying properties of Hausa people & protesting that "Aboki Must Go". We call on the authorities to intervene ASAP. As always, I remind those that are quick to attack other tribes living in the midst that, your own tribesmen are also living in other areas, and nobody has the monopoly of the madness you're displaying. The law should take its cause and those criminals should be arrested from those that took laws in their hands to those that went on ramoag attacking innocent Hausa people doing their business in Port Harcourt.

Hi Stephen, It is actually PENGASSAN, not “PENGASSEN.” If you can’t even spell the name of the union, I wonder if you're commenting from a place of knowledge or a shallow place. Let’s clear the fog. Like most Nigerians, I do not always agree with unions. I’ve disagreed with PENGASSAN many times, even though I was briefly a member. Same way I was once part of ASUU but still critiqued them. But to brand every labour action as “selfish” is not just lazy, it is a dishonourable lie. You claim the “average Nigerian worker” is a looter. That’s a cheap insult. I work in a private sector, in an organisation much bigger than Dangote Refinery, with presence in over 100 countries, over 100 years in operation. Every Nigerian staff there has been a developer, not a looter. We don’t even fight for our rights, because they’re provided even before we ask. That’s what global standards look like. Now, let’s talk about the refinery engineers. Do you know what it truly means to become a refinery engineer in less than a year? Do you know the kind of sacrifices they made to make that refinery come alive? They pre-commissioned. They commissioned. They started up. They operated. They stabilized the plant. If they were useless, then maybe Dangote himself should put on a helmet and try doing what they did. Or cheap story tellers 'ike you should take the task. They went in without proper training. Without adequate PPEs. Some used their own money to buy safety gear, njust to keep the dream alive. Six days on, one day off. Some pulled 24-hour shifts during shutdowns. They lost lunch, breakfast, and rest facilities midstream. No health insurance. No safe working conditions. Yet they stayed, and delivered. And now, after giving all of that, they’re branded as saboteurs and cast aside. That’s not just unfair, it’s wicked. Quoting them directly: “Everyone says protect investment, yet nobody cares about the sweat and blood that keeps the investment alive. Today it is young engineers cast aside, tomorrow it could be your own son.” Now Stephen, tell me, after years of this kind of sacrifice with nothing changing, what should workers do? Sit quietly and smile while being exploited? Or demand fairness and dignity? Your “if you don’t like it, leave” argument is weak. It’s the excuse of those too blind, or too compromised, to confront injustice. No serious society develops that way. You don’t build world-class assets by treating your own people as disposable. Capital doesn’t run a refinery. People do. Protecting investment must include protecting the humans who make that investment productive. Otherwise, you end up with unreliable operations, safety disasters, and eventually, brain drain. And let’s stop dragging history wrongly. Yes, unions in America between 1920-45 were strong. But the lesson wasn’t “crush labour.” It was to strike a balance between capital and labour. Because when balance is lost, accidents, outages, and unrest follow. Stephen, you are wrong on the facts, wrong on the analysis, and wrong in spirit. If you really want Dangote and others to succeed, start by respecting the very professionals who turned steel and concrete into a working refinery. Without them, capital is dead weight. So next time, if you want to argue, at least argue with facts, not lazy stereotypes about Nigerians being looters. Thank you.

No father with grown daughters, or even a brother with many sisters, or any woman who hopes to marry one day, would find it acceptable or reasonable to hear a fatwa suggesting that a woman can be entered into a temporary marriage while the man knows from the outset that he intends to leave after a fixed period, even as she genuinely believes she is entering a lifelong union with the man she loves. Such an arrangement is the height of deception and injustice; qualities that Islam does not endorse. Marriage in Islam is founded on honesty, trust, commitment, & mutual rights and responsibilities, not concealment or exploitation. If a man can afford to travel abroad for business, then he can also afford to take his wife with him. If circumstances prevent her from traveling; perhaps because she must remain home to care for their children, and he genuinely believes he needs companionship during extended trips, then he has lawful alternatives within Islam, such as marrying a second wife openly and permanently, with all the rights and responsibilities that such a marriage entails. Islam is a religion of justice, fairness, and dignity for both men and women. Any interpretation or practice that undermines these principles deserves careful scrutiny.
