Baggu Well, this is awkward 😐 Did you see the BAGGU “collab”? You may have seen BART’s branding on baggu products recently but there was one big problem—we didn’t know about it. We’re flattered they love us so much and want to be associated with our awesome brand. But it would be nice if they had reached out to us and perhaps shared some of the profit since we are a public transit agency in financial crisis.

☔️BART no longer runs trains at reduced speed during the rain! Crews updated the train car braking profile software and made slight changes to train speeds at specific locations with a longitudinal slope and where data showed cars were experiencing high rates of wheel flats. ⬇️

We rolled out new fare gate tones today! The new “chime” tones play when riders hold their fare media (Clipper card, contactless bank card, or mobile payments) on the reader for an additional second and are intended to inform blind and low-vision riders that the gate is open.
