Well this is massive, so please share so other people can see. Turns out THERE IS A WAY TO DISABLE RPG FEATURES from a clean file! Similar to Castlevania (one of this game's biggest inspirations), you can use the name input to unlock cheats ("CH&NORPG" in this case). Enjoy!!!

Star Wars: Dark Forces The Force Engine Source Port Mission 4: Research Facility Coming from DOOM, it takes me by surprise how just a year later a game like Dark Forces was doing Room-over-Room and true 3D level design that interweaves within itself and even loops. A looker too.

Playing ABUSE (1996) at 60 fps is a completely new experience than the hardcoded 15 fps it was originally programmed to run at. Some of these traps and surprises are borderline unfair at this framerate, but I'm loving it. Try it yourself:
