Oh boy. We have a problem — a bit problem. There are still two kittens in my attic. A little black one, and a white one I gave only caught a fleeting glimpse of twice, the last time being this past Sunday morning. So, I took food into the attic and quietly sat there for 15 minutes. Then a black kitten appeared. I noticed how much he has grown. Then, a second kitten appeared — and it was not white! Two black kittens? At 2:15 in the video there is another surprise: a third black kitten! No sign of the white kitten. Am kinda wondering if the white kitten actually, or if it was some type of a kitten guardian angel. The few times I saw it, it was pure white and was next to the black kitten. I guess I need to stick an old GoPro up there and let it run for hours. Hopefully get a view of the white kitten, and to make sure there are no more black kittens.

I finished up work at a reasonable time, around 4:30pm. I checked on the 3 black kittens: Scooter (no rail), Scotty (1/2 a tail), and Sammy (full tail). Also put food in the attic just in case the white angel kitten is real, then sat on the couch. Skippy wasted no time hopping on my shoulder. Purring at first, then completely conked out.

Sat down on the couch to drink a cup of coffee. Skippy had other plans. Onto my shoulder he went. My coffee is cold, but Skippy is happy and purring away. So everything is right with the world. Oh sure, gas prices are up, but Skippy is happy. Does anything else really matter?

I left Sammy, Scotty, and Scooter out exploring the house while I was at work. When I came home, all 3 black kittens ran into the master bathroom. I walked in with a can of food. They were all like, “Welcome home daddy. Now feed us. Feed Us. FEED US!” Followed by, Yum,Yum!

Apologies for the long video. But, just a week ago the little guys were living in my attic. It will be a week about 10 am last Friday that I trapped these little guys and then went berserk. Now look at them: Sammy, Scotty, and Scooter. What difference a week makes!

The attic kittens went to the vet. They were well behaved. Now all 3 are camped out in a gray cocoon type thing. They have food, water, toys, a bed, 2 litter boxes, and two dark places to hide. Meanwhile, Skippy is “doing the Skippy”, and snoozing away in a bed on the desk.

Okay, attic kitten update time. I went kitten trappin’ this morning. Successfully caught all 3 at one time. Boy did they freak out! Stopped the video, and spent 2 minutes talking to them and reaching into the trap to pet them before they calmed down. I set them downstairs for a minute to interact with Skippy, their brother, and then off to the vet we went. They were very calm on the trip there and back, and at the vet too. Yes, I talked to them quite a bit along the way. The vet says I have 3 very healthy black kittens. Not even any fleas. The vet did give them a bath (did I mention they freaked out when I trapped them? Food went everywhere!). Vet says I apparently took very good care of them. Guess that is good, but it is great for the kittens!
