This video is pure ED. The man drops one calm sentence and suddenly half the country is doing mental gymnastics and reading between non-existent lines. He says “I’ll be there in 9 years.” Translation: I’ll be alive. Reaction: National crisis meeting. The real limitation isn’t in the statement. It’s in us, for treating an innocent line like a constitutional amendment. ED is smart, as he has already shown over the past years, and he continues dropping jokers and getting many people into confusion. Same story with Victoria Falls. Yes, you can visit from the Zambian side, just like you can also watch a movie on your phone. But if you want the IMAX experience as a tourist, you come to the Zimbabwe side where you experience its real face. That’s just geography, not politics! Even Robert Mugabe International Airport got the memo, hence the facelift. First impressions matter, and Harare decided to wear its good shirt as the Gvt renovated the place to provide the best face for the country. So when the President says we have the best view of Vic Falls, he’s not starting a war. He’s stating a geographical fact. The noise that follows just tells you how polarised we are as a nation. We’ve reached the point where some people would argue with a map if they don’t like who’s holding it. We do have the best part of the Falls. Simple. True. The President should forgive us because we’re just too busy being offended to accept simple facts. It’s like the many lay men who still refuse to admit that the economy has improved, yet even the World Bank says it has. IMF World Economic Outlook estimates Zimbabwe grew 7.5% in 2025 and projects 5% in 2026. According to the World Bank Group Zimbabwe’s economic growth averaged almost six per cent between 2021 and 2025 and local-currency inflation fell to single digits in early 2026, the first time this has happened since 1997. Against all this you still get arguments to the contrary. ED knows the kind of people we have become and when he drops these kinds of bars he knows his audience. As it is they have indeed jumped on the statement!

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the postponement of my 55th birthday celebrations, originally planned for 4 and 5 September at Spring Restaurant and Lodge. In the spirit of Ubuntu, we believe it is imperative to prioritize compassion and support during this time. One of my valued team members has encountered a serious situation and is currently hospitalized in critical condition. In light of this, we feel it would be inappropriate to proceed with our celebratory event while one of our own is in need. We have tentatively rescheduled the music bash for 3 October. Your understanding and support during this time mean a great deal to us. I kindly ask for your thoughts and prayers for our dear colleague, hoping for a swift recovery and return to good health. As the Zimbabwe Village Heads Association (ZIVHA), we observe with respect King Mzilikazi Day, a celebratory occasion dedicated to honoring King Mzilikazi kaMatshobana, the esteemed founder of the amaNdebele nation. This day serves not merely as a remembrance but as an affirmation of the profound significance of our traditional cultural principles, which resonate throughout Zimbabwe and across the broader African continent. King Mzilikazi epitomized more than just a formidable warrior and nation-builder; he embodied the very essence of values that continue to weave the fabric of Africa: unity, discipline, ubuntu, reverence, justice, and stewardship of both land and people. Through his visionary leadership, he orchestrated the unification of diverse clans Sotho, Tswana, Venda, Kalanga etc, endowing them with a shared identity, language, and purpose. Such is the transcendent power of culture, it binds us in solidarity, transcending tribal divisions and political disputes. Our customs, languages and governance frameworks constitute the collective memory of our identity. To disregard them is to render ourselves strangers in our ancestral home. Mzilikazi Day serves as a poignant reminder to impart this rich history to our descendants, ensuring they stride into the future firmly rooted in their heritage. Zimbabwe and Africa epitomize a mosaic of nations within nations. Recognizing and celebrating the founders of the Shona, Ndebele, Zulu, Sotho, Chewa, and all our peoples does not lead to fragmentation; rather, it fortifies our collective strength. A tree sustained by many roots remains steadfast against the fiercest storms. The principles of accountability, service and the protection of the vulnerable that characterized pre-colonial African governance must guide our modern leadership practices. As President Mnangagwa' says, Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo. Tose tiri vene vayo. By honoring our ancestors and foundational figures such as Mzilikazi, we restore dignity and esteem. Cultural pride lays the groundwork for a development paradigm that is authentically African in nature. We earnestly call upon the Government to weave cultural education into the fabric of our curricula and public discourses; safeguard our heritage sites such as the Matopo Hills, and preserve oral traditions for posterity. Our African languages should be elevated to prominence as mediums of commerce, governance, and innovation and we should strive to dismantle the illusion of a dichotomy between modernity and tradition. Africa has the potential to be both technologically advanced and deeply culturally rooted. Throughout history, our strength has resided in our communal bonds. Let's remain united as one people. Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu. Munhu, munhu nevanhu.

NZ plays at a faster pace using quick rucks, multi-phase attack, and forcing SA to defend for long periods. What a game its going to be as the All Blacks have redeemed themselves. Its Game On!

I was thrilled when Roseanna Hall from Shurugwi was crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe on Saturday. It fills me with joy to see someone from my village succeed like this. I celebrated Shurugwi because it's essential to support our own. Now, she will represent our country at the international Miss Universe pageant. I'll actively campaign for her to get the support she needs. People like First Lady Mai Mnangagwa and business leaders like Zodwa and Tagwirei should step in to back her, ensuring her win has a real impact. She deserves a car and a house or stand for her achievement. I have already pledged to give her money because I always lead in giving before requesting from others. Roseanna continues the proud legacy of Shurugwi in producing great leaders and successful persons as she follows in the footsteps of notable figures like Gandire, Marungwe, Herbert Mahlaba, Tagwirei, and President Mnangagwa. We should organize a celebration for her achievement, and I will rally Shurugwi Town Council and other stakeholders to make it happen. While she represents us, we should leverage her influence to benefit both the town and the girl child. Congratulations to all participants; they put in a lot of effort. The passing away of Cde Matemadanda is an immense loss not only across our nation but also profoundly impacts the ZANU PF party and us, his Shumba kinsmen to whom he was a brother. He was a true titan of modern Zimbabwean history, pivotal in the establishment of the Second Republic. The narrative surrounding Restore Legacy cannot be articulated without acknowledging his name. Alongside Cde Mahiya, they stood as exemplary leaders, real 5-Star Generals who masterminded this monumental initiative by personally leading from the front. It is easy for some to misconstrue our recognition of these figures as diminishing those they elevate; however, we possess an intimate understanding of the complex dynamics at play during that period, allowing us to identify the true heroes. Matemadanda and other War Veterans, was undeniably one of them. He encountered formidable opposition, enduring the threat of losing his farm and getting arrested fronting the project at a time it was very perilous. At one point I took the responsibility of securing legal representation for him and other arrested War Veterans. My victory in Norton was, in many ways, a testament to the unwavering efforts of these War Veterans, who worked tirelessly to forge the first Constituency aligned with ED. Cde Muwoni, as Chairman of the War Veterans Association, was entrusted with spearheading the campaigns for that pivotal seat in the Province. The triumph there marked a significant milestone in the broader endeavor that ultimately ushered forth the Second Republic. Our journey in these treaches has been long and arduous, and we will not allow ourselves to be misled into accepting heroes that have been superficially contrived. We were eye-witnesses to the events that unfolded behind the scenes. The Second Republic did not emerge from the Army or some other external force but rather from the steadfast resolve of the War Veterans. I was even given the mandate to engage the opposition in pursuit of a united front. Thus, when we speak of the true foot soldiers of the Second Republic, we affirm our knowledge of their identities. Many of the presently lauded figures were, in truth, latecomers to the cause, arriving only poto yatodziya kare. It is unfortunate that, within the realm of politics, those who resort to deceit often find themselves in positions of success due to their perceptive understanding of what to articulate. Meanwhile, those who value sincerity and hard work frequently struggle to navigate the treacherous landscape. Mandirwadzisa Shumba, my dear brother. When we used to meet in Mozambique, he often expressed his fervent desire to serve our nation and our party in support of ED. The last time I reached out to him, he was diligently laboring in Tete to ensure the repatriation of our fallen heroes. What a remarkable man, what a true hero. May he rest in eternal peace.

Dancing not only keeps me feeling youthful, but it also serves as a great way to unwind. Music has a calming effect and acts as another form of therapy. I had the pleasure of meeting with Mash West Youth Chairman Cde Tapiwa Masenda. We're proud of the young men we've nurtured in the political arena, and the recent success of CAA3 highlights our efforts. Mash West Province excelled in sending petitions in support and mobilizing masses for the historic Amendment. It's crucial that we mentor these promising young individuals to carry forward the legacy of defending our hard-won independence. Masenda has shown exemplary leadership in guiding the youth, who are the backbone of the party. It was wonderful to reconnect and share some enjoyable moments.

Zimbabwe and Iran signed 12 memorandums of understanding in 2023 to strengthen bilateral ties. We shall be visiting the country at the invitation of the Iranian Gvt to further explore business opportunities there. The 12 MOUs include plans to create a tractor manufacturing plant in Zimbabwe with an Iranian company and a local partner. The two countries also have co-operation agreements for energy, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications as well as research, science and technology projects. Both Iran and Zimbabwe have had sanctions imposed on them by the US. Thus cooperation between us is not just positive but imperative. We thank the Iranian Ambassador to Zimbabwe HE Amir Hossein Hosseini for facilitating this historic initiative.

Hezvoka! When I said this on 29 September 2025 many were quick to accuse me of attacking and character assassination. I'm glad that I have been vindicated. You now know I'm factual. I don't lie to attack people. I simply state the truth without mitigation and not for anyone's convenience. My credibility is of paramount importance therefore I don't create content but report facts that I know. Your problem is when you fall in love with politicians you become blind.
