A shopper paid at Walmart, chose a digital receipt, and then couldn’t get the doors or app to cooperate. She asked for help. A Walmart associate wouldn’t let her leave. A bystander walked up and told the officer/security that there was still an “outstanding balance” / that she hadn’t paid. The officer repeated that line to her face: he didn’t think she paid. She pushed back that the woman wasn’t even there when she checked out, that Walmart offers the digital option so a paper receipt failing to load isn’t her fault, and that being walked over and told she stole her own groceries was humiliating. Staff later pulled cameras and transactions. She had paid. When she asked for an apology, the officer said no and “good night.” That’s the clip: paid customer, broken digital proof, a stranger’s accusation treated as fact, confirmation she was right, zero apology. Walmart is not Costco or Sam’s Club. There is no membership contract that makes a receipt check a condition of shopping. In most states the door check is a request. Shopkeeper’s privilege only lets them detain you if they have reasonable suspicion of actual theft — a refused receipt check by itself usually isn’t that. Their own training has been reported as “if they walk past, let them go.” Should people stop and show the receipt because it’s faster and keeps the peace, or walk past because they can? Does this guard owe her an apology?

Woman in Philly is standing in front of an Avride delivery robot so it can’t move. The person filming her: “Miss, you can’t block that. That’s somebody’s food that they paid for. They may be sick. They may be waiting on it.” Then: “You’re a nasty spirit. That’s what you are.” Not a protest. Not a bit. Just a sidewalk argument with a box that has someone’s dinner in it.

A restaurant owner called the whole dining room over to announce a couple had ordered $137 and was “refusing to pay.” They claim the pork chops came out fried hard. Staff took them back and swapped in steak. The couple asked for the pork chops to come off the bill — and said they would pay the rest. Husband is a disabled veteran. They said they had the money. Owner’s answer: “I will not be bullied in my own restaurant.” Then he told them to walk out and never come back. A returned plate turned into a public spectacle. Who handled this worse? Just watched the TikTok of the woman who got married yesterday and ICE detained her husband this morning. She’s crying, selling his car, and begging for lawyer money while hashtagging Abolish ICE. Marriage to a citizen is a legal pathway — it is not a retroactive pardon for being in the country illegally. If he had status, they wouldn’t have taken him. The people who wait in line, pay the fees, and follow the rules don’t get a wedding-day exemption either. Enforcing the law isn’t “family separation.” It’s the consequence of skipping the law. That’s how I actually see it.

Sooner or later, the people you pick on start hitting back. In thisatest example of FAFO, the girl with the burgundy brads can be heard saying “Make it work. It don’t work? Make it work” before trashing the lunch counter and lunging after the woman she was arguing with. The next thing you know, knives are pulled and drying pans are used as weapons. Are you done putting up with people’s crap?

A 16-year-old with 3 kids is in bed all day and the household can’t make her leave because she’s a minor with dependents. That’s the whole trap. The law treats her as a child. The state treats the babies as her responsibility. The adult in the house becomes the unpaid fourth parent with no eviction path and no extra help. Everybody in the comments will pick a villain. The girl. The parents who let it get here. The baby daddies. “The system.” What’s the actual move if this is your house? How the hell did this situation happen?

Guy spends his afternoon mowing a girl’s yard in 100° heat because her “boyfriend” can’t do it. Boyfriend finally comes outside… to check the mail. Starts sneezing. Goes back in. The neighbor looks up covered in grass and says: “Is it the grass you’re allergic to or the work?” This is why half the replies are going to be women saying “I dated this exact man.” What’s the laziest thing you’ve watched a grown adult do while somebody else handled their responsibilities? Is this guy right about manhood going extinct?

She is the poster child for “Be the fck careful who you have kids with.” She asked their dad for $40 to feed the kids until payday. He said no. He lives at his mama’s house. She has her own place, pays every bill, has the kids almost every single day, and already risked her job because his house had no lights. Then he hits her with “you have a job too.” $40. For his own kids’ food. This is what happens when you pick a man who half-asses fatherhood and weaponizes the kids after you leave. This is what happens when your own parents fail you and scum like this look like Prince Charming. Choose better or don’t have kids with them. I’m done paying taxes for your poor choices.

32 years old. Out of bed 5–10 minutes a day to film a video from the carpet. Then back to bed. That’s the job. Wants to know what she can do for work as a chronically ill person other than this. This presentation is everywhere now in women her age. Same script, same hashtags, same “don’t call it laziness” closer. Almost never a documented workup in the video. Almost always a self-applied label. A lot of what is being sold as a lifelong physical sentence looks like a functional/psychiatric loop that social media rewards and medicine is too scared to name. If this many healthy-looking 20- and 30-somethings are suddenly 90% bedbound, why did it explode on the same app that taught them the symptoms? More often than not, I don’t see physical disabilities. I see entitlement, depression and “woe is me, I can’t work.” Am I out of line here?

A mom drinks at her 11-year-old’s football practices. Yesterday she brought wine in a Hydro Flask and an actual wine glass. Sat on the bench with a book. Poured a glass. Another mom walks up: “Are you drinking wine at football practice?” Yes. Yes she is. She argues that practices are three freaking hours. She doesn’t leave him there. She did that once when he was 9 and they ended early and left him standing there alone. So she stays. She has no idea what’s happening on the field. She hates sports. She has zero sense for any of it. What the hell else are you supposed to do? Just hand the keys over to the kid next time.

This kid just filmed himself with every single thing he owns packed in his car. Nine months ago he left Virginia to help a friend start a business outside Philly. It didn’t work. Now he’s driving six hours home — unemployed, moving back in with his parents, and admitting on camera: “I failed.” Then he says the part most people never say out loud: “Why not now, at a low point, to admit that I failed… and to let other people know that it’s okay to fail. That’s the point of life.” He’s right. Failure isn’t the opposite of success. It’s the tuition. The people who win long-term are usually the ones who stopped pretending the setbacks never happened and just kept moving. Respect for saying it while the bags are still in the backseat.

A kid has been in the shop a month and a half. Still inside his 90 days. Tomorrow he takes a drug test for a factory job. Dave tried to put him on spark plugs. Boss pulled him off and sent him back to oil changes and tire rotations. Today, knowing he’s leaving, they finally let him do a Chevy transfer case. First one. Kid actually got excited. Too late. “Nobody wants to teach him. Nobody wants to let him do something fun and get excited about his job.” That is the tech shortage. It isn’t always “kids these days.” A shop that parks a new hire on lube work for 45 days, then acts shocked when a plant offers him a way out. Have you been put in a similar rut by your employer? Are you shocked this kid is leaving?

He just finished a job. The lady didn’t pay him. Then he ran out of gas in the street. Two guys pushed her truck to the pump. A man pulls up and says, “I’m struggling just like you.” Hands him a can. Tells him to start it and pull back around. Puts $41 in the tank. As he’s leaving: “Next time someone else needs it… pay it forward.” He says “God is good.” Happy tears. Don’t quit. Help still shows up. When was the last time a stranger caught you on empty or help you in your time of need? It’s good to see this side of humanity, isn’t it?

I know that walk! 🤣 I’ve done it many times, including that very pier in Cozumel. Those dock shoes have a “return to home” feature and his knees are no longer taking instructions. He still found his card. He still made the gangway. Security just waved him through like this is a recognized medical condition. Respect.

This young mechanic is warning “listen before you try to work as a mechanic” hit hard. In his story he explains how pay is now garbage, you have to start with your own $40,000 set of tools and your hours get cut. You then work on cars that are impossible to diagnose. My late uncle Jack sold his shop 20 years ago for the exact same reason. Cars were becoming too complicated for old-school wrenchers like him. He saw it coming. What’s happening now isn’t accidental. There’s a clear push to force every repair through the dealership. They load these cars with proprietary electrical systems, modules, and computers that require manufacturer-specific tools, software subscriptions, and certifications just to diagnose. That barrier costs a fortune. Independent shops can’t keep up with the tool prices, the training, the locked-down diagnostics. So the mom-and-pop places that used to keep your car running for a fair price get squeezed out. Customers get funneled to the dealer where the labor rates are higher and the incentive is often to sell more work (or a new car). This isn’t progress. It’s control of the aftermarket. Right-to-repair exists on paper in some places, but the practical reality is that modern vehicles are designed to be opaque to anyone without the factory key. Uncle Jack saw the writing on the wall two decades ago. The kid in that TikTok is living it now. The skilled trades that built this country are being engineered out of the independent repair business, one locked module at a time. Support the shops that still fight to stay independent. And push harder on actual right-to-repair that includes the software and tools, not just the parts.

The internet is full of 12-minute traffic-stop movies. “I’m calling my lawyer.” “Badge number. Now.” “Get me a supervisor.” Then they film it like the judge is in the back seat. This cop just listed what he actually doesn’t care about: The lawyer threat from a ’93 Corolla. 10 MPH over. The badge-number flex (he’ll give it to you). Tags expired a couple months. The drive-by “pig” yell. The supervisor demand (he’ll call one). None of it changes the stop. The performance is for intimidation. The outcome is still the ticket. Hand over the license. Don’t audition. Go home. Bottom line: cops usually don’t give AF about your dramatic outbursts!

$95 freakn’n bucks? They walked into an Urgent Care with a kid who’d split his head open. Blood on both their shirts. Rag on his head. Insurance tap failed. Dad said charge him cash. Front desk still wouldn’t tell the doctor they were there until they got $95. Twenty minutes later the doctor said he didn’t even know a child was in the building. A kid gushing blood Front desk first.

This man is a saint. Lady at the Toyota dealer just told the service advisor she’s “fixing to cut him” because her brake pads wore out. She drove a Honda for 14 years and swears she never replaced the brakes. Now she wants Toyota to cover a wear item under warranty, thinks $420 is a scam, and questions whether the inspection video is even her car. “Bull, bull, bull.” “Everything was supposed to be covered.” “Maybe I should just go back to Honda.” Brakes are a consumable. They wear. That’s how physics works. The advisor stays calm, offers the video, explains warranty vs. wear-and-tear, and doesn’t even flinch when she starts talking like she’s about to pull a knife over a brake job. Service advisors deal with this energy every single day and still have to smile. Hazard pay is overdue. This lady needs to schedule an appointment and talk with someone.
