So I visited Saint Maria Goretti 1890–1902) A brief history: she's one of the youngest canonized Catholic saints. An Italian peasant girl, she was tragically stabbed to death at age 11 while resisting a sexual assault by a neighbor, Alessandro Serenelli. On her deathbed, she famously forgave her attacker. Her tomb is located in the crypt of the Basilica of Our Lady of Graces and Saint Maria Goretti in Nettuno, Italy, south of Rome.
