According to the account, he was sold to the HGB operations head, Commander Talwar Waziristani, for Rs. 500,000. Talwar then placed the boy under the supervision of his local area commander, Irshad Himati. Irshad and his associates allegedly prepared a Mazda truck packed with explosive drums and acid reportedly supplied by an Afghan militant named Mubariz Afghani to carry out a high-impact suicide attack. Before the attack, the boy was shown the intended target: the Chashmai check post near Miranshah in North Waziristan, where security forces were stationed. Information about a possible suicide attack had already been circulated across Miranshah, and security forces were on high alert.
