Being small is your superpower. If it doesn't work for 10 people, it won't work for 10,000. Your first customers aren't just users, they're co-creators. One of the best advice I’ve heard is to make something you and a small number of people really love. Solve your problems first, then your friends and their friends, then scale.

I used to think that if things weren’t working, I just needed to work harder in silence. Building in public isn’t just about sharing progress, it’s about admitting when things don’t go as planned. When I launched Onboard, I had a vision of the world I wanted to build. But our users wanted something else, and that was a hard truth to face. I spent months building the wrong thing because I was afraid to share what wasn’t working. I used to think “the struggle” meant failure. Now I see it’s part of the story. 🌱
