To our traditional rulers, religious and community leaders, civil servants, pensioners, youths, women, artisans, traders, farmers, and every citizen who came out to vote and support our administration; thank you for believing in us and choosing continuity. This victory belongs to all of us, and I accept this renewed mandate with humility and a deep sense of responsibility. As we celebrate, we also remember the victims of electoral violence before the election. My heartfelt condolences go to their families and loved ones. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗯𝘂 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 Not Allow Oyetola Set Osun on Fire At the campaign rally today in Olorunda local government area, I appealed directly to Mr. President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Osun is bleeding, and our people will not be intimidated. His intervention is needed, the loss of innocent lives in Osun must stop. All we are asking for is simply a free and fair election. Mr. President must act as the father of this nation and help safeguard the democracy he fought for. I reminded the President that the 2027 general elections are also around the corner, and he should not allow his nephew, Mr. Oyetola, the Minister for Marine and Blue Economy, to ruin his name and the democracy he fought along with many others It is our collective prayer that as a country, may we never witness such incident as the political violence of 1983 particularly in the southwest. Yesterday evening, I inspected the vandalized section of the Lameco Flyover in Osogbo. I commend the hardworking engineers from the Ministry of Works who have swiftly mobilized to the site to ensure the immediate repair of the damaged section. During my visit, I received direct briefing from the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Engr. Bashiru Bello, on the circumstances surrounding the act of vandalism. It is unfortunate that some saboteurs, whose sole objective is to undermine our developmental strides and destroy the legacy of this administration, would resort to attacking public infrastructure built with taxpayers’ resources. I enjoin security agencies to strengthen the protection of public infrastructure across the state and ensure that those responsible for this criminal act are identified, arrested, and brought to justice. These projects belong to the people of Osun State, and every well-meaning citizen has a responsibility to protect them from acts of sabotage and vandalism. My administration remains resolute in its commitment to delivering quality infrastructure and will not be deterred by the actions of those who seek to impede our progress.

I strongly condemn the coordinated attacks carried out by pro-APC political thugs in Ile-Ife, Ede, Osogbo and other parts of our state earlier today. No political ambition is worth the blood, pain, and suffering of innocent citizens. I call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, the Inspector General of Police TUNJI DISU, the Department of State Services (DSS), and other security authorities to urgently intervene and call Mr. Gboyega Oyetola Adegboyega Oyetola and the APC candidate, Bola Oyebamiji Bola Oyebamiji and everyone behind these provocations to order before they plunge our dear state into chaos. After receiving reports of the attacks, I personally visited affected areas and met victims receiving treatment at the Osun State Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, and the Cottage Hospital, Ede. I also paid a solidarity visit to the Osogbo Accord Chairman who survived a gunshot attack last week. I sympathize with all victims and their families. My administration will not abandon them in this difficult moment. I have directed security agencies to thoroughly investigate these incidents and ensure that every perpetrator, regardless of status or political affiliation, is brought to justice. Political differences must never degenerate into violence, intimidation, or attacks on citizens exercising their constitutional rights. Democracy thrives on dialogue, tolerance, and respect for the rule of law. I urge all residents to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding. Additional security measures are being activated across vulnerable locations, and my administration remains fully committed to protecting lives, property, and the peace of Osun State. May God grant speedy recovery to the injured and continue to preserve the peace of our beloved state.

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝘀𝘂𝗻. When we assumed office in 2022, there was no single functional tractor owned by the Osun State Government for the benefit of our farmers. Our administration therefore launched a phased procurement programme, and we purchased 31 tractors in the first batch, which have been deployed across the 30 Local Government Areas and the Area Office. We have also continued to provide improved seedlings for cash-crop farmers, feeds for poultry farmers, agricultural inputs and cash grants to support farmers and strengthen their businesses. Our goal is to build a thriving agricultural sector where farmers have access to modern equipment, quality inputs, financing and markets, while ensuring that food is available and affordable for every family in Osun. To our administration, Agriculture is not only about feeding our people; it is about creating jobs, empowering our young people and building a stronger Osun economy. #ImoleCarryOnAccordingly

We do not consider the payment of salaries a political achievement, but a responsibility and the rightful reward for the labour of our active and retired workers. We have cleared inherited backlogs of salaries, pensioners’ gratuities and promotion arrears, while ensuring regular training and capacity development for our workforce. Instead of offering empty promises like those in the past, we have delivered tangible results that workers can see, feel and experience. We have demonstrated that workers’ welfare is not an afterthought under our administration, but a central pillar of our governance. IPETUMODU IN IFE NORTH IS READY TO MATCH AURA FOR AURA TO DELIVER MASSIVE VOTES FOR ACCORD Today, I was in Ipetumodu, Ife North to commission the 10.4km road that connects over 100 farm communities left abandoned by previous governments for decades. The message from the people was loud and clear: they are ready to match aura for aura, defend a government they love, and make every single vote count. No more darkness. No more neglect. Today, in an historic event marking our administration’s second anniversary, we welcomed our father and elder statesman, the Former President of Nigeria, General Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, to the capital city of Osogbo, to commission one of our administration’s landmark projects in Osun State. The newly completed dualisation of Old Garage-Oke Fia-Lameco road, which has now been named the “Abdulfatai Adekilekun Ajadi Badmus road” in honor of an illustrious son of Osogbo land, is in fulfillment of our unwavering commitment to transform the Osun State Capital, into a modern Capital City for all Osun indigenes and non indigenes alike. The late Asiwaju of Osogbo was a true patriot, with whom we conceived the ongoing transformation of Osogbo City, and we remain committed to positively transforming the capital and the state for present and future generations. Yesterday, as part of the activities marking the second anniversary of our administration in Osun State, we held a friendly novelty football match between members of the State Executive Council and the Osun State House of Assembly, led by Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun. The match, held at the Ataoja School of Science, Osogbo, highlighted the spirit of camaraderie and collaboration between the Executive and Legislative arms in driving developmental initiatives for the benefit of the good people of Osun State since the inception of our administration two years ago. We recognize sports as a powerful unifying force for both the youth and the elderly.
