I'M PROBABLY ONE OF THE PEOPLE CONTRIBUTING TO THE GPUS DYING 😭 Built the same Crossy Road clone with both Kimi K3 and Opus 4.8 using their respective API keys inside Cursor, so neither model had a framework advantage despite the 2.7× difference in cost. Both produced fully playable games with solid physics, but Kimi's UI felt slightly more polished Kimi cost $7.11, Opus cost $19. Pretty impressive considering the price gap

Tried recreating Fall Guys using the exact same prompt with Claude Opus 5.0 (Claude Code) and Kimi K3 (Kimi CLI). Kimi K3 nailed the gameplay out of the box. Physics, movement, and the overall feel were surprisingly solid Opus 5.0 had a shinier UI, but movement was broken, it kept adding unnecessary visual effects, lagged during gameplay, and spent most of its time reiterating instead of converging Runtime and cost : - Kimi K3: ~9 min, ~$4.4 - Opus 5.0: ~17 min (still iterating), ~$13+ That's roughly 2× the time and 3× the cost, yet Kimi produced the more playable result with the exact same prompt.

Been seeing a lot of MiniMax M3 posts on my timeline lately, so decided to give it a shot. Asked it to make a GTA-style game and somehow ended up stealing cars, shooting NPCs and running from the cops Also kinda funny that everyone was expecting a 1T+ model before launch. It shipped at 428B params instead, but the coding capabilities are genuinely impressive.
