Perplexity CEO told Joe Rogan that Microsoft created office work. The dates say otherwise. To be fair to him, half of it is true. Gates really did want a PC on every desk, and Microsoft did make Word and Excel the default tools that almost every office job trains you on. That part is real strategy, and it worked. The history is where it falls apart. Office work didn't start with Microsoft. Purpose-built offices go back to the 1700s, and office jobs boomed in the late 1800s. In the US, clerical work climbed for most of the 20th century and peaked in 1980. Word shipped in 1983. Excel was shipped in 1985. So the lifestyle hit its high point before the software everyone blames for it existed. Microsoft didn't build the wave. It sold the surfboards once the wave was already a century deep. When a founder narrates history, and their own product turns out to be the hero, check the dates. The story flatters the product by design.

1. Realistic Physics Game (Hexagon Test) Prompt: Create a HTML, CSS, and javascript where a ball is inside a rotating hexagon. The ball is affected by Earth’s gravity and friction from the hexagon walls. The bouncing must appear realistic. → Tests physics simulation, code planning, and visual realism. ChatGPT 5 won. Grok 4 lost. Note: I waited 7 minutes for Grok 4 to respond but it didn't worked and on the other hand ChatGPT 5 gave me a customizable canvas so I can play around with it. Check ChatGPT 5 output here:

Boris Cherny, head of Claude Code at Anthropic: "I don't prompt Claude anymore. I have loops that are running; they are the ones prompting Claude and figuring out what to do. My job is to write loops." He's right. Karpathy and Steinberger arrived at the same conclusion from different angles. The skill has a new name. Loop engineering. Cherny's token bill is zero. He works at Anthropic. Steinberger burned $1.3 million in OpenAI credits in 30 days. He works at OpenAI. Loops are the right architecture. But the people evangelizing them aren't the ones paying. I wrote a breakdown of five plays that land most of what a loop gives you at a fraction of the cost, plus the one case where a loop is worth paying for.

Six months ago you could generate almost anything with AI image and video tools. That window is closing fast. A creator recently stress-tested Nano Banana Pro, Kling, and Seedance 2.0 on this RISKY video project. Midway through production, Seedance 2.0 tightened its filters so aggressively that outputs it generated days earlier were suddenly blocked. Same prompts. Same workflow. Different results overnight. They had to fall back to older APIs and manual image-to-video seeding just to maintain visual consistency across the project. This is happening across every major model. Filters get stricter after launch, not before. The capabilities you test on day one aren't guaranteed on day thirty. If you're building any creative workflow around AI generation tools, you need to know this: the models you're relying on today are not the same models you'll have access to next quarter. Document your workflows. Save your outputs. And stop assuming the tools will stay as open as they are right now.

I used Claude Fable 5 to turn network traffic into an ant colony. Packets are ants. When the network gets congested, ants pile up in the tunnels. When packet loss hits, a spider shows up and eats them. There's a live dashboard tracking everything in real time. You can watch the whole network go from healthy to total chaos in 30 seconds.
