Govt has no intent to fix Karachi or any other city of Sindh. No one actually cares. Nothing new… except the fact now it gets recorded & social media brings it to every phone. There isn’t a single area in Karachi that’s any better. Pick any area & I’ll show you filth within a one-kilometer radius. Eighteen years of one party rule…and this is what we get. Ask a question & you’re labelled “anti state.” Criticise & you’re “politically motivated.” This is the STATE of AFFAIRS we live in.

In July 2019, I accompanied PM Imran Khan to Iran and we called on Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. It was an extraordinary experience. He was spiritual, humble and deeply thoughtful, with striking clarity of thought. He spoke about peace, unity and tranquility among the Muslim Ummah. He also spoke of Allama Iqbal with great admiration, calling him Iqbal-e-Lahori, and described him as an Arif, a man of true marafat. There are no words to describe his loss. May Allah rest him and his martyred family members in Jannat ul Firdous. #Khamenei
